WARNING about cancellation and billing at EōS Fitness If you are thinking about joining this gym, please read this first. My experience trying to cancel my membership has been unbelievably frustrating and feels designed to make cancellation nearly impossible. When I attempted to cancel, I was told that I could not cancel unless I paid a renewal fee that had not even come due yet. In other words, I would have to pay a future renewal fee just to stop my membership. That made absolutely no sense. Because of this, I went into the gym in person to resolve the issue. I spoke directly with the General Manager, Chris Marriotti, explained the billing situation, and told him that I had been unable to cancel my membership properly. He told me that both my wife's membership and my membership were canceled and that everything was taken care of. Unfortunately, that was not true. Despite being told in person by the general manager that the memberships were canceled, the gym continues to charge the account and has now even added late fees. The memberships still appear to be active even though we were told everything had been handled. So now I am dealing with charges, late fees, and a membership that was supposed to already be canceled by management. This has been an extremely frustrating experience. When a customer goes in person, speaks to the general manager, and is told everything is resolved, that should be the end of it. Instead, it has turned into an ongoing billing issue. If you are considering joining this gym, I strongly recommend reading the contract very carefully and understanding exactly how their cancellation process works before signing anything. read more

I prefer group work outs over the gym since working out with other people helps keep me motivated, so I tried the yoga, body pump, and bands and booty classes here. The front desk folks were nice but it does get busy sometimes at the front and from what I've seen, there's usually only one staff member. This is mainly a review of the fitness classes. The yoga was a good mix of flow, flexibility and mindful meditation, though the instructor can be a bit intense sometimes, clapping and yelling across the room. It is guided verbally as the instructor doesn't really do much of the exercises herself, so you have to have good hearing or constantly be watching other people. I was happy to see that there were a wide range of people of different age groups and experience levels! The body pump class was probably my favorite and although it was quite long, it is truly a FULL body work out with dedicated exercises to the shoulders, biceps, triceps, core, and legs. The music was fun, and the instructor was amazing and provided modifications to increase or decrease the intensity of the exercises since there were people there of all levels. Finally the bands and booty class was nice and opened my mind to all the different exercises a mere band can be used for! I guess you get what you pay for. Sure it is cheap, but there is ALWAYS something broken. The hot tub rarely works. The filters break down, and the water gets really nasty. The bathing suit dryer NEVER works. And I mean, NEVER works. Just take it off at that point. I joined EŌS because I was told the music was not going to be loud. it was before the one in Plano Tx off 15th street opened. That is not the case however because when I asked to have it turned down he said that the music level is set by corporate headquarters and there is nothing he can do about it. This EOS location is by far the worst gym I've been to. No matter what time you come--whether it's 6 AM, noon, or even midnight--it's always overcrowded. It feels more like a social club than a gym, with people standing around, taking up equipment just to chat, and making it nearly impossible to get a proper workout in. On top of that, the aerobics room is always locked, which is ridiculous considering how limited space already is. If you want to stretch or do bodyweight exercises, good luck finding a spot that isn't cramped or blocked by people who aren't even working out. Their excuse is that it's only for recording content, yet people are recording all over the gym anyway--further proving that this place is more about clout than fitness. We wanted to checked out this new location because my boyfriend and I were looking for a 24/7 gym since our current gym doesn't open until 5am in the weekdays and 7am on the weekends. Front desk: Upon arriving g at the front desk, Lala was very helpful and informative and set up our 7 days FREE TRIAL. Lala briefly went over the best option for us when we eventually sign up for our membership. Gym Layout: I absolutely love the layout of the gym, I do a lot of hybrid training with battleropes and kettlebells so the turf area is perfect for me. It's also a perfect area to do some quick dynamic warmups and cooldown stretches. I also love that there is a room called "[REC] the SET" and it's dim inside but its very well decorated with graffiti on the walls and bright lights and even has a selfie mirror available. Equipments: I love the equipments. It has some equipments that I haven't seen in some of the gyms we have tried around the area. Amenities: the women's locker room is very spacious. It also has an easy access to the pool and the jacuzzi. I also love the fact that there is a sauna available inside the locker room. Merchadise: they have a few selections of tshirts, leggings and sports bra with an EOS brand printed on them. Beverages: the cooler is always fully stocked. When this gym originally opened, it was great. The biggest reason I chose it is largely due to their massage chairs. They were amazing. Now.. all 6 of them have been broken going on 5 months now. At one point, one of the wheels in the massage chair became exposed and ripped a chunk of my hair out. I let management know they needed to put up an "out of service" sign and they didn't show any interest in what had happened. They intentionally mislead people touring the gym and sell them on having these massage chairs, meanwhile all are broken. It's getting dirtier and there's another broken piece of equipment nearly every week. Seeing as this location is always packed, having down equipment causes everyone to wait on one another. Everyone's complained to management and they just act clueless and don't care. Not worth the price if half the gym isn't even useable. read more

Overall the gym is very good. This review is about their sales person. AVOID their salesperson called GARY. He will promise anything you asked before you sign membership and after you paid, he will say I didn't make that promise. So the situation was on September my apartment lease is about to end in a week, I went to their gym to get new membership. Gary greeted me and I am satisfied with gym and Gary asked me to sign up today, I asked this Gary if I can get 7 day extended to the new membership because my apartment provide gym before lease ends. He said no problem so I paid. Then after two weeks, I found 7 day is not extended to my membership and I asked Gary why. He said I didn't make promise to give 7 day extension. So apparently they are playing tricks to coax customer to sign up membership. But anyway 7 day is not a big deal. I like the gym but don't like this Gary. Overall switched to this gym a few months ago. Pricing and hours are the key factors I stay. Also, several gym friends went to this location. I do find this gym is extremely busy. Just enough equipment to still get a workout in. Patrons are nice but I do find they're quite a bit messier than what I'm used to (towels left in locker room floor, weights not reracked, equipment not wiped down). I know these items are what every gym suffers with, I just find it a bit more elevated than other gyms I've joined in the past. Eōs' policy of not likening to use credit/debit cards is cumbersome as well. There may be fees to do so. read more

Negative stars if I could. Staff hangs up on you when you try getting in contact with someone besides the front desk. They take a message but never return calls. They leave you waiting at the front for 30+ minutes and cowardly walk away when a customer is trying to ask why about false financial charges. On top of that the environment is embarrassing. I made the rookie mistake of entertaining their "personal fitness program" pitch, and let's just say it turned into a masterclass in frustration. It started innocently enough. I was told I had a three-day grace period to cancel if I decided the program wasn't for me. No pressure, right? Fast forward to day two - I have my consultation (which they generously count as my "first session") with Adrian, the fitness instructor. Nice guy, but the program didn't fit my schedule. So, I tell Nick Gooch, the assistant manager who signed me up, that I'm out. His response? "You're good! No worries, you don't have to do anything." Cue the calm before the storm. Weeks later, I notice charges for this very program that I explicitly said I didn't want. I reach out to Nick. He blames a processing error, tells me to email him. So, I email. I also loop in Carl, the manager. And then? Radio silence. One week goes by with no response. It's like they've entered the witness protection program. At this point, I call ABC Processing, the company handling payments, thinking they can help. Nope! They tell me the only way to cancel is through the gym managers--aka the very people who are treating my emails like spam. So, I head back to the gym in person. Once again, Nick tells me to... wait for it... email him. Yeah, buddy, because that worked so well the first two times! I was starting to feel like I was stuck in some kind of gym-themed Twilight Zone episode. In the end, I had to get my bank involved to reverse all the charges for a program I never even started. Have fun paying $35 chargeback fee per transaction, butt nuggets. But here's the kicker: when I tried to cancel my *entire* membership, ABC Processing tells me I can't because I'm locked into this mysterious, "active" fitness program. You know, the one I canceled ages ago? Honestly, it's a shame because the gym itself had potential. But the sales team and managers? They're like gym version of car salesmen--without any of the charm. Integrity? Missing. Communication skills? Non-existent. Respect for customers? Nowhere to be found. I walked in and there were 3 people in the front, no one got off their cell phones to greet or ask anything. I had to almost beg for attention. I asked for a tour, signed in and There were employees standing behind the front desk just talking, other employees sitting at their desk to the right and a group in an office just on their phones. I really wanted to like this gym, I just couldn't get there. I was supposed to get a free training session, and all I received were two (2) stretches. They have a list of guidelines for the gym, posted for all to see, and the staff isn't interested in one of them. The one that really got me was members working out barefoot, and members signing in non-members to restricted areas. The staff only stays in the front of the gym, doesn't make themselves visible. Do not join this gym. I joined this gym in October 2024. I signed up for a trainer. He was okay I sent messages through the app for changes to the schedule which he did not acknowledge or use. Then in November my trainer quit. No one from the gym called to reschedule me with someone else. I went it to cancel my membership shop where I was told to use a QRS code to cancel. I called the 1-888 number all for them to tell me I have to speak with the manager to cancel training. Went in and was told they can't. Now on today January 29 2025 called for 1-888 number is saying the manager at the location has to cancel and during this whole time of course I have to pay all fees. This gym is very hit or miss. So many rules but absolutely no enforcing them so many gym bags all over the floor, people recording outside of allowed area including locker rooms. The staff doesn't walk around at all, lets most people in without scanning, can't upgrade membership or add towel service after 8pm. It does stay clean so it has that going for it. All in all it's a great gym and I hope it gets better when school starts back up again to thin crowds a lil bit. read more

EOS advertised closing at 6:00 pm on Christmas Eve day, no problem but when I get there at 4:00 pm they say we have to have everyone out by 5:15 pm but no sorry no apps we made a mistake just a get over it attitude. Also this gym is way over sold, working out between 6 and 10 pm Monday through Thursday is waiting in line and kids playing on there phones while they sit at the machines. I have to go after 11 pm to be able to get a good work out with intensity. I would not recommend this gym unless you go I the day or very late at night. Members are also a little on the questionable side. Lots of kids and when I park my car I worry about it being hit or broke into. read more

The low price point has led to severe overcrowding in the afternoons and a "rougher" crowd than you'd expect for West Plano. I also agree with other reviewers that some "encouragement" is needed to get more people to restack their weights and leave common areas clean.
