I was at EOS fitness for a fitness workshop today. To be transparent, I had not heard of this gym until today. Oh my...this gym is quite impressive. The size is gargantuan with floors spanning to floors (Roughly 35K square feet). Wow, wow, wow!!! The gym is modern with clean lines...designed to perfection. There is every piece of equipment imaginable - cardio machines, strength stations, squat racks, cable systems, and functional training areas. You could literally come to this gym and spend half a day with all the equipment and studio classes at your disposal. Our workshop took place in the aerobics studio. This room could easily hold 100+ people. There lighting system in this room is next level. Excellent workshop...excellent gym! read more

Disappointing Experience at EOS Fitness - Richmond, TX I am very disappointed with my recent experience at EOS Fitness in Richmond. One of my main concerns is the way some members are approached by staff. On one occasion, a staff member named Stacy approached me in a manner that I found overly informal and, quite frankly, disrespectful. Professionalism and respectful communication should be a basic expectation when interacting with members. Unfortunately, this experience reflects a broader concern I have noticed at the facility. It appears that many staff members are very young and may not have sufficient experience or training in how to appropriately communicate with and address members. Hiring younger employees is not the issue; the concern is ensuring that all employees receive proper training in customer service, professionalism, and respectful communication. Another major concern is the condition and maintenance of the equipment. Some machines have been broken for weeks, with little indication of urgency in getting them repaired. Members are paying for access to a facility and reasonably expect the equipment to be properly maintained, safe, and available for use. EOS has the potential to be a great gym, but the quality of customer service, staff professionalism, and equipment maintenance need significant improvement. I joined a friend of mine for a Zumba fit workout with Alex. This gym is in a very nice location with tons of food places around. Almost wrong all the choices. The class was super fun. Alex had a lot of energy and it was a good mix of dancing with a little strength training. read more

I've now visited 3 different EOS locations in the Houston area and I think this was my least favorite lol. It was crowded (but that's every EOS), the machines feel older, and it's a weird setup (upper body machines, free weights, cardio, and turf upstairs --with lower body machines and barbells/ smith machines downstairs). It's very large but it feels like an inefficient use of space. Also the dark "influencer" room that most EOS are known far isn't open 24/7 and it's kinda hard to find if it's your first time there (tucked away in a corner). That was really the final straw for me lol. read more

This EOS gym in Rosenberg next to specs is a mess when it comes to their equipment right now there a 6 different workout machines that are out of service broke down and no one that works there can tell me when they will be repaired it's been 2 months now and still they are out of service that's ridiculous I pay my monthly fee and that large amount of what they call maintenance fees gets the machines fixed. read more

I've been a regular at this gym and never had an issue until this visit. An instructor named Genna from the Gfit class confronted me and my friend for taking a quick mirror selfie. While I understand gym policies, her approach was completely unprofessional. She raised her voice, spoke to us in a condescending manner, and publicly embarrassed us instead of handling the situation respectfully. The interaction made us feel uncomfortable and harassed. There's a big difference between enforcing rules and being rude and hostile. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses staff conduct. DISAPPOINTED WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! I am so upset with how their corporate operations work. I would warn you to keep a good track of the debits from your accounts for either the personal training or any of the fee that they deduct from your account. If you are supposed to get a refund from them due to not cancelling your auto pay etc, it would take them ages to refund that amount. I have been going through this process for the last 4+ months and never saw any light on this yet. I dont know if I have to blame the location staff or the corporate , at the end of the day all of them work for the same org who needs to take responsibility for these kinds of issues ( as a team). Getting hold of the right member of the staff from the management/admin to deal with these issues over the phone/email/text/ in-person is such a pain as there would be long waits in line and they usually did not have any answer for my issue. I wrote to the corporate and there was an automated email sent out that I'll be reached between 24-48 hours but I was completely ghosted on that. I usually don't complain about the crowd etc but look for a good time to come to the gym when it is not overcrowded but these days it has been crazy even in the off hours. The training staff is amazing and always keep up to their promise while you work along with them on your goals. That is the only positive out of all these negatives. But , this would not stand out if people are being troubled with all the transaction issues like mine. read more

Very dishonest and scammers. I joined the gym June 2, the PT manager Amelio tricked me into a four month contract. I never saw it, even after I told him that I could only afford one month PT. When I came to talk to him he avoided me and tried to intimidate me. Then he admitted that he put me in a contract, but was going to cancel me after one month. He also lied about the cost involved. He told me it was $19 for the first month and $88 for the second month instead it was biweekly. I made sure he knew I didn't have the finances to back up any more charges, two weeks later I get a call from corporate saying I'm in a contract, that's how I found out and I cannot back out of it even though I explained I did not know about this contract. There must be a mistake after speaking with Amelio in that difficult conversation he put in a request to cancel, but said it was up to him to do that or not. I tried to cancel my membership on my phone, but wasn't able to and someone at the front desk helped me. She was very apologetic and told me that there are a lot of issues involving this person. I asked her you're not gonna charge me anything are we good? and she said there's not gonna be any charges and I do apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused you in the last two weeks. She was very professional. For some reason, my membership was never canceled and they continue to charge my account and attempt to do that weekly. I've changed my debit card and I'm probably going to have to close my bank account since they keep changing their name in order to keep charging me. In less than a month they've already charged me almost $300. I haven't been to the gym since the second week of June and had joined June 2nd. They already tried to cancel membership in Rosenberg and for some reason even though the staff is very apologetic about everything, they just don't cancel my membership. It seems corporate is backing up scammers like Amelio. This is not how you do business with people this is not how you treat people in your community . Keyara, Elizabeth and T'Neil are helpful and friendly in the recovery room. They have a good customer service experience by learning about you as a person. All of the staff are so accommodating. The gym is a little crowded so be sure to try to come in during off hours. I'm moving so I had to cancel the membership. The recovery room which you pay $50 extra for offers some great services. I mainly spent most of my time there versus in the gym. The treadmills are 20,000 machines that have a special anti impact feature that won't hurt your knees. Terrible Experience -- Unprofessional Staff and Misleading Membership Charges I signed up for what was supposed to be a $10 membership, but EōS charged me for a $30 plan instead. When I called to ask about it, the front desk employee was extremely rude -- she hung up on me multiple times while I was just trying to get the issue resolved. The staff here are unprofessional and disrespectful. I've overheard them using foul language and even racial slurs, which is completely unacceptable in a public gym setting. On top of that, the gym is always overcrowded, no matter what time you go. The entire experience has been frustrating from start to finish. This gym has only been open since October 2023. My review is mainly for the ALIANA location in Richmond, TX as each location is slightly different. The rock bottom low prices compared to other gyms in the area is basically what led this place to BLOW UP in terms of membership. It is PACKED. I kind of think they actually over-sold membership because it can be pretty hard to get a machine if that's your thing. Luckily, for me, it's not, and I stick to the group fitness classes. After January the classes have been getting really packed too. I think it's mainly because of the following: - growing membership - amazing instructors and word got out - New Year's Resolution folks with goals to lose weight\ Unfortunately, there is only 1 fitness area for classes, unlike Lifetime Fitness which has multiple studios, so this can be an ongoing issue. In turn, the best way to go about it -- get to class 10 minutes early to get a good spot. The fitness classes and instructors are top notch, encouraging and motivational. All the people in the classes are also supportive and friendly. Can't complain about any of it. Overall, the staff at the front desk is always nice and greets you when they aren't with a customer; haven't had any problems with billing, and the gym is generally pretty clean. Is it perfect? No. But for the price you pay, it's great. Is there room for improvement? Sure. But if you want a basketball court, lap pool, or hot yoga etc... there are other places for that-- but you'll pay a higher monthly fee. read more

I've been a member of this EOS gym for some time, and I feel compelled to share a significant safety issue that management at the EOS gym is allowing children as young as 8 years old to use heavy weights and exercise on the main workout floor. To prove it just watch the security cams on Wednesday July 16, 2024. The children were all over the gym and not a trainer stopping them from being in the flor. This practice is not only unusual for gyms but also potentially dangerous for several reasons: 1. Risk of injury to children: Young children's bodies are still developing, and lifting heavy weights can lead to serious injuries. 2. Safety hazard for other gym-goers: The presence of unsupervised children in a workout area can be distracting and potentially dangerous for adult members using heavy equipment. 3. Liability concerns: This practice could be violating safety regulations and putting the gym at risk of lawsuits. 4. Disruption of workout environment: Many members come to the gym for a focused, adult-oriented workout space. This lack of response to a serious safety concern is deeply troubling. read more

Would I recommend it? It depends on what you're looking for. My teenage son has been bragging about this place for a while as he came as his friend's guest and then joined. I decided to give it a try & stopped by. I met with Oscar who was initially nice BUT then I asked if there was a tour or something so I could see the place & he said no, that they didn't do that because everything is pretty basic & proceeded to tell me what's upstairs & downstairs & then said he would give me a 7 day trial membership & scheduled a follow-up meeting. I told him I was there to meet with Paul, who came highly recommended & he said he would switch the appointment to him. I came the next day & saw a couple being given a tour... so, I went to the front desk & asked the friendly fellow at the front if they did tours, to which he responded "yes ma'am, we do, would you like a tour?" I shared my previous experience with him and he proceeded to show me around. It's a small gym so I don't see what the big deal was with the last dude. Anyway, the gym itself is very nice & they do have a lot of options and multiple sets of the same machine so you don't have to wait for someone to get off (you still have to wait often but at least there's more than one of each). In my opinion, their target audience is more the dedicated to fitness person, athlete and teenager and early 20s age group. They do have other age groups & fitness levels (or lack thereof) but the majority seem to be on the younger scale. There isn't a kids watch (sorry new moms, not for you if you want to escape to the gym to get your sexy back) and there isn't much (almost anything) for the elderly/seniors (unless they're into weight lifting or want to do the treadmill). The price is not bad but it's not cheap if you add the annual fee. Again, I recommend it for certain groups & depending on your fitness goals. I live in the River Oaks area and the closest EoS to me is Allen Parkway on Gillette street. However, the parking situation there is the worst (once drove around for 30 minutes for parking) and there is rarely any available parking. So, at least once a week I make the drive down to come to this EoS. It's totally worth it. Always clean, ample parking, spacious with lots of equipment, and very available and responsive staff. Highly recommend reaching out to Mike, the GM, with any questions or concerns. He's on top of it. read more

Went to EOS to get back into the swing of things with a Free 7 day pass. Was told I couldn't use pass if I didn't speak with GM Armillio. They wanted to hard sell me on a membership versus letting me utilize their gym to get a feel for it myself. False advertising for sure; predatory sales tactics at worst. Free pass really isn't free pass at EOS . It's an invite to some high pressure sales by some overbearing GM at the gym. No thanks! read more

EoS Aliana location has the worst service when comes to handling business. I am beyond disappointed and dissatisfied with the person that manages the Personal Training. I believe that's his name is E or what he goes by. I had a problem and I tried to get a solution and instead of him helping he was always conveniently unavailable. I understand that people become busy, but when it has been at least 10 time that I visit the location and called more than 10 times and still no solution I perceive it as avoidance and lack of care. The issue that I had was that I requested to freeze my account due to a transitional job change. I spoke to a blonde female manager. When we spoke about my request and situation we looked at the calendar and she explained that after a specific date I should not be charged anymore because the account was frozen. Unfortunately that is not what happened and I was still being charge. The date of 02/23/24 should have been the last day I would be charged since the account was frozen.  Unfortunately that did not happen and I was charged on 03/08/24 and then again right now on 03/21/24 both those transactions needed to be reversed due to my request and inability to go to the gym. Due to this I expect to receive my refund. In addition I also got charged for my gym membership on the card they charge my PT with a card I have never used for my monthly membership. Because of all the charges my account has all these fees and had to call the bank to sort it out. Now the thing that threw me over the edge and why I am writing this review was that my account was cancelled when I never said cancelled. I froze it and had yet to talk to someone about canceling. I am beyond frustrated because everyone does not properly communicate and the message/information always changes as if they are playing telephone. This could have been avoided if the manager actually contacted me the first time I was charged. Also the fact that when I mentioned that I didn't cancel the account someone on the phonehave should of corrected things, however that wasn't the case. This is bad customer service and business on their part. In the end I had to fight for almost a month to finally got my refund. And they asked me if I would consider getting my account reactivated at Aliana. I said absolutely not as long as it is managed like that I don't want to. I will finish what I already had saved and just let remain canceled cause because of how they handle things. Now that I am finally ready to use my paid training sessions that I was told that I had the ability to use whenever I was able too and I was informed that I can't used them because they are expired! What the fuck!? To top it off when I finally was able to speak to the District Manager Adrian I was informed that I was able to use my training sessions when I was available, however that is not the case he told my trainer that he mentioned to me that they are expired. I am beyond annoyed and frustrated because the District manager Adrian is a liar and is lying to my trainer. I know for a fact he did not tell me anything simply because I would have mentioned to him that I can't use my sessions since I was waiting to be on break for the summer from work. A conversation was had regarding them getting my business at a different location and of course I declined because instead of him making things right leaving me at my promised rates regardless of me being trained once a week or twice a month. Nothing should have changed because I locked in to these prices because I took a promotion at a new gym was being opened . Regardless the horrible experience he still wanted to charge me more to move over there. No I am not paying you guys any additional money when EoS team, management, and especially Adrian messed up. The EoS training is a joke, all those managers including the district manager just want your money and will take it regardless the customer with experience and expectations. They don't care about the people. The only good experience has been my trainer. Other than that you're just a business transaction. And also anytime you try to go up there to talk to anyone forget it they find excuses as to why they can't talk to you, but I am sure that if your giving them money with your business then they can. A club employee set our account up wrong and failed to inform us of the structure of a family membership, only allowing the "primary member" to put a card on file. In order to correct this. I've been a member for about a week and have went 4 times, one for sign up and 3 for workout. Here are my pros and cons. Pros: clean facility, great monthly price, some friendly people. Cons: The website is misleading, I have membership black which is 26.99/mo with tax 29 and some change. It lets you know you have access to recovery room~beware it's just massage chairs and leg massagers. The rooms which are very beneficial is 50 extra a month. Now this could've been explained better. I get Cryo/banana bags locally for 29.00. The rooms are only offered between 3-20 minutes but I'm paying an extra 50.00 and I have to wait on availability and I don't go everyday. May adding an extra 20/mo to the black for these amenities would be nice. Second thing advertised incorrectly ~they have a pool, movie theater and basketball court. Nope not at my facility and they charge if I'm not mistaken (pls don't quote me) 10.00 for towels that you have to return. The up-sale of a personal trainer is very in your face at the facility I go to. The price of 86/mo for 4 months is not bad but after voicing I have a busted knee, hip issues, haven't worked out in 16 years, my welcome workout was 45 mins intense nonstop . I felt better after 2 days. Registration and first day workout I was never shown facility, how to operate machines and lockers was jammed up. Second day workout I finally get my welcome workout asked for my blue band b/c that was never mentioned. Third day workout I finally get tour of recovery room. Now one thing I left out, my son also signed up for a membership (black) he is 14. Nobody gave him a welcome workout, showed him how to work machines or tour. He asked today to show him how to operate a machine and was told to just use bar until he build strength. My son has been working out intensely for over 2 years. He curl 50'... stop being lazy and show him so he want hurt himself! Lastly is stays crowded at this location, parking is difficult, inside is a traffic jam and ppl just do sets and sit for 5-10 mins on machine between sets when they can see you are waiting. Overall it's an ok gym I guess for price. I'm going to try a different location to see if it's better. But to pay 30/mo (rounded) 55/yr(rounded), at least allow more amenities in the recovery room. For me, my son (my husband so he is not signing up anymore) it can get pricey if I take full advantage of everything. 60/membership, 110/yearly dues, 86-249 *2. =172-498/personal trainer for 4 months. 10.00/mo for towels * 2 and 50/mo *2 for cryotherapy, red light therapy, tight leg massagers (they have others that's not so powerful that come with black membership), and water massage table. All together I would be paying 462-788/mo once and 352-678 and dues. I could actually get an all inclusive gym with all amenities plus more with less crowd for way cheaper and image if my husband join. Better plans need to be incorporated! I'm 50/50 with this location. I wouldn't give it a complete 5 stars but also wouldn't give them 1 star either. I toured the facility and I was impressed. From the machines to even the recovery room, it seemed like every other gym, but with more advanced features and cheap membership. $29.99 per month for everything! Not too bad! I was given a 10 day trail pass to start. I was very excited. However, the moment I get out of my car, I was yelled at and questioned about my handicap. Not many people know, but asking someone their handicap is against patient confidentiality regulations. Not the gyms fault but it was displeasing to enter. I met the fitness trainer, and she was so helpful and wanted to help me to get to my goal. After a full assessment, she then tells me that the personal trainer program is an additional cost ($300 plus the additional $29.99 gym member). However, when I spoke with the salesman, he didn't tell me about any additional fees, as he discussed, it was all part of the membership. Although, she was willing to negotiate and lower the price, I'm glad I didn't commit fully before signing up for a membership. read more

If I could give this gym 0 stars, I would. 1 star is too much. First off, the low rated google reviews you read on here are accurate. The gym is way too overcrowded, especially this location. They clearly underestimated the population of the Harvest Green/Aliana area. It's flooded with broccoli headed, pajama pant, and croc wearing incels that got all of their advice from TikTok/social media. Second, there's not an enough room for the amount of people. They keep selling because well this company values profit way more than they do a pleasant experience. I use the gym as an outlet for my inner peace, this gym fails to provide any of that value to myself because it's constantly over run. Third, the equipment they have is constantly going out of commission because like I said this gym is too crowded with high school kids that have no idea how to workout or use the machines. There have been machines down for weeks/month at times and it's frustrating when it's a machine you use on a daily basis. Lastly, I've been trying to cancel my membership for weeks now. I keep being told there has to be a specific person for me to cancel my membership, but then there's 15 people available to give others tour of the facility. This gym and EOS brand is awful. Went for a tour today. The lady at the front desk was a little rude. Anthony was directing my tour. He constantly interrupted my gym tour to speak with his "friends" that were working out at the gym. I mentioned to him I was touring/checking out the gym for my boyfriend's sake (since he was unable to tour the gym himself at this time). Anthony was very pushy and wanted me to sign my boyfriend up for a membership, when he's never even been to the gym before. He encouraged that I call my boyfriend to persuade him to get a membership when he's never been inside the gym before.
