To say that EOS Fitness Syracuse is good gym would be a definite understatement as it is actually as close to being a great gym as any gym could be. Their equipment, which is extensive, top of the line and plentiful, is well maintained and in those rare instance when a machine does breakdown they get it back into service quickly. The gym environment is fresh and clean and has stayed that way since EOS took it over from Golds Gym some six or seven months ago. I often see General Manager Chase walking around the gym straitening equipment and racking free weights just to keep the placing looking great. But, in my opinion, what pushes EOS ahead of other gyms in the area are the people. I don't think that you will find a better staff or patrons anywhere. I find that the patrons of this gym are nonjudgmental when it comes to body shapes and conditions. They are friendly, but not aggressively so, and often offer encouragement and progress feedback once they start recognizing you (sometimes a thumbs up from a fellow patron is all one needs to push that extra mile on the treadmill).. Most of the members are very courteous. I go to the gym seven days a week and at various times and have been doing so for well over a year and I can say that I have never had a long wait for any piece of equipment that I wanted to use. The employees at Syracuse are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. One feels welcome from the moment they walk through the door especially if Cody or Courtney is working the front desk. Got a problem, these people will do everything they can to take care of it quickly. From the General Manager Chase to the Janitors who keep the place spotless, these are really neat people. If you can afford it, training is a money well spent, because learning to do things right in the gym is a lot more pleasant than learning the hard way that you did something wrong (besides under a trainer's guidance you can meet your goals a lot quicker). The two trainers that I have worked with at EOS Fitness are extremely talented and experienced people. My current trainer Connor gets a nine out of ten in my book (a few more high fives would earn him a ten out of ten). His manager Caleb gets a full ten because he has a great staff. We love going to EOS Fitness in Syracuse. They have the best daycare workers which is the most important part for me. As a busy, working mom and police wife, it's great to know I have great role models and care givers for my kids while I take care of my health. Laura, Maddie and Julia are our favorites. They are there in the afternoon and always have a positive and welcoming attitude. My kids love them and feel safe with them around. When we miss a day coming into the gym, they always notice we weren't around and tell the kids they missed them. The front desk staff are awesome as well. A few even greet us by name, which may be because we are ALWAYS there but it shows they care. The housekeeping crew is great at making sure things are kept clean and tidy, even when some gym goers dont remember their adulting manners of putting things back. Local Management is easy to work with and great at responding. I can't wait for the rebuilding and expansion that will offer more options! it will be a great addition to the experience. read more

When I feel like blowing off some steam, or maybe the stressors of the world are beating me down, I love to go to the gym. EOS in Syracuse is the perfect place for me to get a solid workout. The machines are in great condition, and there is seldom a wait to get on the equipment I want to use. I wanted to get the full experience at the gym and learn some new things so the past 3 weeks I have been training with Carmel. She is able to show me some things I have never done at the gym. I have been lifting weights for 15 years, and I live that I go therE and she teaches me something new. Carmel always has an upbeat attitude and always shows she cares about me and my health! I have been attending this gym prior to it changing from Golds to EOS. Lately I've been very happy with the staff and particularly with the new operations manager, Aaron Wood. Yesterday I noticed that a shipment of supplies had been delivered and left by the office/ check-in area on a pallet. At the time, it appeared that the gym was short on staffing, but Aaron still took the initiative to find an employee, help put away the supplies , and then vacuum the area once the pallet was removed . I have noticed he continually works hard to keep the place looking clean and is very courteous and professional in his dealings with the members of the gym. I came to Utah to work for several weeks, and I was trying to find the right place to workout without having to pay a very expensive contract or very expensive membership. I went to several local gyms around my area, and none of them could actually offer me something for one month without having to pay a whole year, or having to sign a contract for at least six months. I came to Eos, and Chase Tippetts took outstanding care, and he found the right plan for me. Customer service here is fantastic, and they do care about what you thing. I haven't been this happy with a gym for a long time! I've always been involved in fitness wether it's CrossFit or weight lifting a gym. I've had memberships at several well known gyms....... won't mention any names but I've always felt taken advantage of. Customer service is very important to me and the other gyms I've been to didn't even know what that was. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Cody Hadley at the front desk never fails to welcome me by name and makes feel like part of the community at eos. You don't find that at other gyms. Great facility with incredible staff! Cody. H always greets my husband and I (and many others who filter in along behind us) by name, and is so quickly attentive to all questions and needs! Then as I'm dropping off my toddler in kids club all the girls are always so kind, warm and welcoming making sure both my little and I are comfortable with the transition. This facility is so well maintained that I have never gone a day without seeing 2-3 members of the maintenance staff out on the floor keeping up optimal cleanliness. I have been a member of EoS Fitness for approximately two months, and I enjoy going to the gym. The atmosphere is welcoming and non-threatening. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The fitness center offers numerous classes throughout the day, which I have participated in a few; the instructors are energetic and keep the classes interesting. I also hired a personal trainer, and Savannah is amazing. She keeps the workouts challenging and new every time I visit with her. Great gym, great facilities, and great staff! I had been a few times with a friend before I decided to hire a personal trainer. Best decision ever because Carmel is amazing!! She has already taught me about form and diet and given me a schedule to use on my own. Apart from that, she's just a really kind person and constantly helping to keep me motivated. Eos is a great place to work out at and gain some muscle and get into the proper shape! They have a lot of amazing machines that i like to use. they aren't that busy and have pertly of equipment for you to get a work out in if it is ever busy! eos is the place for you to get in shape! There are so many great people here. I can't name them all yet, but walking in the door I am often greeted with a smile by Cody, he makes me feel very welcome. Caleb is super positive and gets people taken care of. I have worked with two of the personal trainers, Mike and Carmel. Both of them are awesome and have been helping get stronger. This facility is always pretty clean, and it seems like all of the regular patrons are pretty savvy with gym etiquette. read more

Caleb and Ashley were really great at listening to my goals and what I wanted to do and then showed me great exercises to get there. They were also very positive and encouraging me to get through my sets. I was in the area visiting family when I discovered this amazing gym. It had everything I needed to get a full body workout in and more. Lots of equipment made it so that I wasn't having to wait to use anything. Massage chairs and tanning beds are the perfect way to finish a workout with too! Helpful and knowledgeable staff. I really like all the changes at the EOS fitness center in Syracuse, UT. Although, I prefer to work out when the gym isn't so crowded, it's awesome to see their membership is going strong. My experience with the staff and trainers has been amazing. Savannah has really helped me make progress in reaching my goals. Everyone that works there is so nice and friendly, always willing to help you out if you need help with equipment. They keep the place clean and sanitized.
