My EV was not going to make it to the next charger when I decided to pull over and call for a tow. I was stuck on the I-10 westbound near Cabazon. Miles from an on or offramp in either direction, I was stranded. Within 45 minutes Justin arrived with a flat bed as I requested. Justin could not have been more friendly or professional. Had to be towed about 90 miles home from Cabazon after the first tow company would only tow me the first 65 miles. E&C was called by AAA to complete the tow. At first I was given an extended ETA and then Rodney called me to tell me his other tow job had cancelled and he was right around the corner. Rodney showed up about 5 minutes later and was awesome. I've had contacts with towing companies (both good and bad) for 30 years and couldn't find anything but praise for E&C and Rodney specifically. He was professional, clearly competent and extremely easy to work with and talk to. Have to say getting towed is never fun but I really enjoyed the conversation and interaction with Rodney. Ride back was about 3 hours and we talked and laughed the whole time. Almost took my mind off of the problems with my truck. E&C and Rodney were great to deal with. read more

WORST TOWING EXPERIENCE EVER!! E&C called and gave me an ETA of 2:00 pm. It's 3:27 pm and I'm still here. The driver passed my vehicle up on the 10 fwy, and l watched him chill at the rest area for like 35 mins. I called the driver that initially called me, and told him the tow truck had just passed me by. He stated he would have the driver turn around. He never did, he just LEFT after sittingat the restarea for over 35 mins!! Their company LIED to AAA and stated they were on location. Not only did the driver beg me to keep the AAA call after going to the wrong offramp which AAA provided wrong infomration, the driver scraped nmy rental car and denied the damage as I heard it happen. Further he abandoned me and the vehicle because he said he finishes his shift in 15 minutes and couldn't go beyond the city of Beaumont to help find fuel for the hydrogen vehcile I rented. AAA is also in the wrong as they not only wouldn't help find a hydrogen fuel station, but sent inaccurate texts, couldn't contact the Tow Truck and obvioiusly sent a horrible tow company E&C instead of AAA Stagecoach Towing, which the California Highway Patrol gents highly recommended. I should have listened to them and not given E&C the chance. The owner or manager of E&C Towing, Rodney will not return phone calls and I now have to sue them. Fortunately, I met the wonderful team at STAGECOACH TOWING and they are so much better than E&C. read more

It's no fun when your tire blows out on a Sunday evening on the i10, heading from the desert back to Orange County. Thankfully, the whole experience with the tow was truly awesome! From the moment I called AAA to the time my vehicle got dropped off in Newport Beach, the service was excellent! I have Premier membership with AAA and it is well worth it. The dispatcher looked after me promptly and was courteous, understanding, informative and gave me an estimated wait time of 30 minutes. E&C Towing was booked to do the tow and I received a call not too long after my call with AAA. The driver, Noe, was polite, confirmed the location and then let me know his ETA. He arrived on time and was very nice from the outset. I drive a high-end vehicle and he took his time to make sure the car was driven up onto the bed carefully and tightly secured. The trip to Newport Beach was a pleasant one and we had a great conversation. The time passed quickly and when we got to the destination, the unloading of the vehicle and paperwork was simple and easy. My driver, Chino, showed up within 15 mins of me calling AAA. Right off the bat he was personable, friendly and made me feel instantly comfortable. He asked where I was going and he knew the owner, I told him that I did too and he personally told me to bring it in. He loaded my husbands truck and I followed in my car. When we arrived...after filling out paperwork..the attendant turned me away. I was in total shock at the unprofessionalism and blatant bias. I was humiliated and didn't know what to do. I don't know another mechanic in the area. Chino stayed with me, spoke up for me and questioned their actions. He too could see clearly that something was amiss. He made a call and took me to a great place down the street. Walked me in and told the guy to take good care of me..which he did. I now have a new trustworthy mechanic. Chino is a class act. Our vehicle had an alternator failure on Christmas night, stuck on the 10 freeway near Beaumont. AAA dispatched Stage Coach Towing, original ETA 45 minutes, updated then to 2 hours and 45 minutes. CHP stopped for us, (thank you very much!), and got us a quicker dispatch from E&C. Also got us off the freeway to wait for our ride and the tow truck. Jorge from E&C was the tow truck driver. He was very safety conscious, got us on to the flatbed and off the side of the road quickly, and was courteous and professional. BUYER BEWARE!!! I had to be towed because of an ignition switch problem. Front wheel drive, parked nose in ... so the tow driver figures out how to release gear shifter by disengaging linkage. When I got my car back from dealership, the shifter was not working correctly and I was told by AAA to contact E&C. Made numerous calls, was told by receptionist a manager would call back. I never did get that call. Last night, I found myself stranded because the shifter would not move from the park position. Called E&C again ... only this time, they said they were not the tow company that towed originally, when I proved them wrong on that statement, they then denied the driver was responsible ... all this from the very rude receptionist. I am working with AAA to mediate this damage ... but will certainly be asking in the future which tow company they will be sending so as not to get E&C again. read more

PRICE GOUGING, ABANDON FAMILY IN 110 degree WEATHER, LIED TO AAA negotiate and agreed to pay $400 from a $450 quoted charge to extract car from soft earth. With AAA on the phone overhearing and taping the conversation, I agreed to pay the $400, tow driver instructed us to move the other cars so they could extract car from soft earth right then. They did not state they need special equipment. The driver entered his tow cab, and then exit to walk back to me then stating, the owner would not allow them to extract car and stated the owner has contacted AAA and another truck was being dispatched. So they abandon the family in 111 degree heat. AAA dispatcher I was on the phone with the entire time, stated the owner dispatch equipment to another call and did not know when they get back with us. ABANDON, there is more to the story and when I return from vacation will contact the The Riverside County District Attorney's Bureau of Investigation has set up a hotline number to report suspected price gouging during the state-of-emergency. E&C towing was the worst customer service. We asked for David from E&C towing to send a an auto service repair and he never did.

They were a AAA contracted towing service. While on the phone with AAA I informed the agent we were passing 2 gas stations (even on the same side of road) that I thought I should put $15 in tank to ensure serviceman at Chuy's had no problems. Not only did they refuse but quite adamantly and were rude about it. I was even going to tip the guy but wasn't about to ise that as some bargaining chip. Also when driver arrived he parked on the other side of the street from me. He looked as though he were trying to find who he was going to tow, mind you I was the ONLY car on the street. Then I get a call telling me the driver is there but cannot locate me again I AM THE ONLY CAR on the street. I inform them that i was looking right at him he only need to make a u turn to position his truck for the tow. This was at Farrell/Via Escuela FYI I will never allow this company to tow one of my vehicles again!! read more

EVERYONE from this company is rude and intentionally led us on believing someone was coming. Everyone Had a LOT of unnecessary attitude. Clearly don't care about customer service. We had a tow truck come help us jump a car (through AAA) and as he was pulling away, the car died again. We called the shop to have the tow man turn around, but she gave us a lot of attitude about it. Rude and unhelpful. AAA should consider using a different tow company in the area. Created a controversy with my road side assistance insurance in a failed attempt to get out of the assignment - then held us hostage while we tried to sort things out - against our will. Well AAA initiated my call at 1020pm and was advised that the "wonderful people" at E & C Towing would get me and my car to take us back our 82 miles home. After an hour with no updates, I call AAA the line, which updated me that my driver would be here by 1225am, great, no problem, right? Well by 1am no one showed up, we call E & C who was awoken by my husband to ask about our status since the AAA automated line no longer gave me an update. They stated they didn't have a call for us. After many round Robin calls with AAA, even with them calling the tow yard with us on hold, called several times with no answer. It's 240am and they finally decided to decline the job, hey thanks guys! Maybe AAA should reconsider partnering with companies that don't want to work. read more

These are some shady characters . Be very careful if you have to deal with them. If you get pulled over in the Sheriffs area in the west valley these guys are the tow company used by Riverside county sheriff. My car sat for 21 days. I had no idea that it was stolen. I finally got a letter. I had to rush to get there before they closed. I was pushed out so they could go home. My car didn't start so I had AAA tow it. I can led my tow or else pay $95 to stay after hours. I have a life too, I worked hard all day too. I opted for the $70 /day storage fee. The next day I got it out of impound.out of their lot and out of their control. They even accused me of getting a free tow prior to this incident. I have never beentowed by them .
