Thankfully, a wonderful woman picked up our call, quoted us a very fair $200, and had a tow truck at our location within 30 minutes. Valadez Towing called me back in less than five minutes and was able to arrange a time to pick up my car which leaves plenty of time to get it to the tire shop for the one installation appointment they have left today. And the prices are so fair and reasonable! I had other companies calling me an hour or hour and a half later, and wanting to charge crazy prices for a tow that's a little less than 5 miles. Not to mention, Melissa, provided excellent service, communicates well, and gave me a nice narrow window time of when to expect the driver! AAA couldn't even guarantee me what time they could get to my car, and the other places that called me back either sounded super shady and could barely speak, or wanted to charge ridiculous prices . This is a long overdue review. I was buying a used Cruise America RV late last year. As a…read morefirst-time RV buyer, I did not know what to expect, so I contacted Jay (the only NRVIA-licensed RV Inspector in the Bay Area). Jay gave me a reasonable quote and walked me through the process. Fast forward to the delivery date. Jay showed up well-prepared with a very neat list of items to go over. He carefully inspected every item of the list and patiently explained what he was doing along the way. He was able to identify a couple dozen major or minor issues, such as radiator leak, generator failure, etc. He wrote up a 65 pages long inspection report that detailed lots of insights about the RV. I was able to use the list that he gathered to have Cruise America fixing it. Without Jay, I would have driven home a broken RV without knowing it. Kudos to Jay! Job very well done!

I called them up to fix what turned out to be a faulty wire on a slide out and a broken window…read more What I got was a wrong diagnosis where they claimed a motor was out. I thought better and spoke to not believing I needed a motor but went with their professional opinion. I took my trailer out a few days later and had the exact same problem. They sent another crew out a week or so later and found it was not the motor but a wire. The second team changed the motor out as well but realized it was never the motor but instead was a faulty wire. The techs words to me were "your problem was misdiagnosed," and so needless to say they wanted to charge me an additional $437 to fix the wire. I'm a reasonable person but I feel like the fact that the "discount," offered was half off the price of motor (which I never needed) is ludicrous. Seems fair to me to pay for the part actually needed with no labor charge may have been acceptable. Essentially I am only able to accept 1/2 off a product that wasn't necessary. I would not recommend this place.
