Which leads people to her business under the impression that this is a rate that is good every three months. Not so. Buyer beware! You will get a text message after already booking being told that you are costing her money if you do try to hold her to the groupon rate that is advertised. I ultimately cancelled my appointment, because I do not want to be treated like an inconvenience. She should not be listing a treatment she does not want to do. That is wrong. I only selected an offering she provided. Now, should she have the audacity to claim that I am violating her 24 hour cancellation policy after telling me that I am costing her money by sitting in her chair, that will be the last straw. I better hear crickets after this. From Laura to me today: "Hi. If you purchased the Groupon you will need to refund it as I cannot accept it again. I can only accommodate you by giving you the original Groupon price. As a small business, I cannot afford to do Groupon for clients that I have done previously because it actually cost me money for someone to sit in my chair that has a Groupon. Since that is how I do my marketing...It is strictly a promotion for new clients."

He was fabulous. She wanted the front sides pink with highlights and a dark wash on the bottom/back, not ombre. He did exactly that. She was (and still is) thrilled. Of course knowing the pink would fade, the style was done so well. She cuts her own hair, which drives me batty, and he cleaned that up for her without losing length. . .and so she was not upset. The salon is nice inside and had friendly stylists that I had noticed others had returned to see. It was my first hearing about the place, and we were visiting from out of town, after years of being away, when I had lived here for many years prior. Ample parking. I was able to walk down to a little market and grab a beverage and snacks while she was letting the color set. They had a bench out front I could sit at too.

I made an appointment via the online system. Then received text that the appointment I had made was…read moreactually not available. After some back and forth via text we came up with a time that we could both make work. I showed up at that time. Then was told that she was running 45 minutes late. Despite having previously texted with me when the time didn't work for her, she made no effort to contact me the day of to let me know that she was running late. I had only left my office 15 minutes prior to the appointment and could've easily stayed at my office for an additional 45 minutes or at least brought my laptop. Instead I was offered the option of sitting there for 45 minutes getting nothing done, while facing having to go back and work for two hours (now 2:45) to make up for the time I had taken off to come to this appointment. She was not apologetic. At one point, she actually said to me "what do you want me to do about this?" as if my expectation that she should help mitigate the situation was ridiculous. I can't comment on how she provides the services she advertises b/c her consideration for me as a person was so awful that I did not return.
