Oh Blair, Blair, Blair! Did you amaze me today! My Service requested was spot on, if not better! Quality of products were amazing and leaving my hair feel so soft and clean. And Blair and Natalie were totally my vibe! The whole salon is so beautiful and relaxing. I've been coming to this salon for years and have loved every experience. This hair cut and color was very much needed especially with my sisters wedding coming up in less than a month. They were able to fit me in last minute and treated me like a queen. Blair knows what she is doing! Both Natalie and Blair helped make my dream hair come true! I love dolce vita!

100% recommend DV salon based on over 2 years of being a client and never being disappointed with any aspect of the services I've received!

Alyna was amazing! She has completely transformed my hair. I came to her with a trainwreck of colors in my hair and she has gotten me back to a beautiful blonde. Highly recommend. Salon also has such a nice atmosphere and the staff are all so sweet.

    Nice and clean post service.

I've been seeing all these cool scalp treatments online and thought I'd give it a try. So I found a great this salon in the heart of Sonoma County. I booked with Natalie. I booked the Crown Renewal. Super easy booking system. I got there and there was plenty of street parking. I walk up and see they have a fun welcome sign and it had my name on it. Really nice touch I thought. The salon itself was is so pretty. Very clean and lots of fun energy. Natalie was absolutely lovely. The owner Kim was there as well and very kind and welcoming. She took me into her room and wow from atmosphere to the smell it was totally relaxing. I could have slept there for hours! She took time to explain the whole experience so we could then have a quiet service time for full relaxation. Before the service Natalie has a device that shows your scalp at quite the magnification so it shows all the build up and wow that was an eyeful. She took so much time answering all my questions. The service it self was so relaxing omg literally felt like I was floating. I never wanted it to end. There was steam, washing, full exfoliation ( which was heaven on earth) and conditioning. Also shoulder, arm and hand massage. I mean this service was EVERYTHING! After the service itself she uses her device to show you your clean scalp and WOW is all I can say!!! The service ends with an amazing blowout. They use insanely high end product lines. I left there literally feeling brand new!! I highly recommend Natalie as well as this epic service. I can NOT wait to go back!!! I'd give her and this service 1000 stars if I could. As well as a treat for youself this would make an incredible gift.

Natalie was an absolute treat! Very knowledgeable about your scalp and treating your hair. I went in for their new scalp treatment and a cut. The treatment was so calming and my scalp felt so refreshed and clean, definitely recommend! You have definitely gained a new regular! Thank you so much Dolce Vita and Natalie!

I have been waiting a while to write this, but I think y'all should know how I was treated. TLDR: Don't take your money here, they don't deserve it. I had an appointment scheduled for a vivid colour with my regular stylist. I arrived only to find out my stylist had left that salon. Natalie said it was no problem, Alina could take me on. I was very appreciative that they had space for me. At least that's what I thought was the case. It turns out that they did not have me on the books, and they squeezed me in between other clients. Instead of doing the adult thing and telling me they didn't have room for me, Natalie stressed out the stylists who had to scramble to work on me, and wasted my time. I was there for 6 hours. I'm usually only there for 2 hours. Natalie did ask me if I had anywhere to be, which I didn't, but that doesn't mean I wanted to spend all day at the salon. I was hungry, I was bored, and it was disrespectful of my personal time. Credit where credit is due, Alina was so sweet to me, as were the other stylists who were forced to work on me. I think they did the best they could with a bad situation. But nothing turned out right. I asked for a bright blue, I got a dark blue. They left the bleach on my head so long that I got a gnarly chemical burn. I let Natalie know that one side of my head was a little warm and itchy, and she said it was fine. To make up for all of this, Natalie gave me a complimentary hair mask. Not something I wanted, but she tried in her own way to make it right. A few days later I got an automated email that was a "How did we do?" survey. I took the survey and was honest. I did not have a great experience. Let me be clear, this survey was not a public review, as this is now. This was internal feedback, and I was kind but firm. Natalie calls me after seeing that review and the conversation that followed on the phone was the ugliest blame fest I have ever experienced. Natalie tells me it is my fault for not saying the bleach was burning me, it was the stylist's fault who left and didn't tell me to cancel my appointment, and for God's sake I got a free hair mask out of it, I should be grateful! She shouted over me, negated everything issue I had, and basically made me feel like I was in the wrong. Never once apologized for the trouble I went through. Never offered to refund all or any of the $450 I spent. I had to end the call by saying "This conversation is going nowhere, I'm going to have to end the call here." A snake of a woman that does not deserve any business sent her way.

Pink tinsel in a gorgeous hair trim by Natalie!!

Immediately when I walked through the door I felt jubilance from every staff member and was so warmly welcomed. They all love what they do and it shows! I was even offered an amazingly chilled bubbly water for a really hot summery day. Such care and thoughtfulness to provide in this heat. Natalie took great care of me!! I was so relaxed I took a nap in the chair! I've never had that before. Completely trust in her and her expertise. I was reluctant to get a hair trim because I'm always anxious the hair stylist won't listen (they might cut more off when my hair is already a turtle at growing ) or I'll be upset about no longer being used to my mane (even if it needed some pampering) and I worry about still being able to tie it up neatly. Natalie is so considerate and always made sure I was comfortable. She gave me hair looking healthy, long and luxurious. Her knowledge was so informative and she is the sweetest person ever to converse with!! I've learned so much from her about how to obtain the glamorous hair I desire!! I now have it!!! Thank you so much for this amazing hair with pretty in pink tinsel!! my hair is baby soft, shiny, and I've never left a salon loving my hair more than this!! Absolute perfection! Definitely will be back!!!

I love love love what Renee did to my hair!! If you want bright fun colors she is your girl to see! She took her time and did a great job. And she give the best scalp massages.

Color and highlights. So bright without being overbearing.

How much do you charge for shoulder length hair cut with layers and style? This is for my elderly mom, she has very fine, thinning hair.

Hi Christina Thank you for inquiring . Our haircut pricing varies from $69 to $125 depending on the stylist and availability.

I recently moved to the area and I have been in search of a fun, friendly, and professional hairstylist. I was lucky enough to meet Bree! She is a talented, knowledgeable, friendly, fun and fabulous hairstylist! I entered the salon and announced I "was looking forward to being her creative project for the day". She greeted me and agreed to take on the task. She has a great sense of humor. I have been adjusting to my new hair growth- it's a very different hair texture and color after surviving cancer. I wanted to try to embrace my "new" natural curly, salt and pepper colored hair with a style that made me feel vibrant and alive. I required special care. Quite a challenge for any hairstylist! Bree made the magic happen. Cheers to Bree! I'll definitely be returning. I'm so grateful to have located this place! Maybe next time I'll try some fun color... When I booked my mom's blowout, I specifically explained that she has soft, textured hair and was reassured that Yolanda Lusnia was experienced with all hair types. Based on that conversation, we felt confident moving forward with the appointment. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet those expectations. When we first walked into Rock Paper Scissors, the initial expressions and reaction from Yolanda Lusnia and Bree Pickens immediately made my mom and me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. We arrived excited and trusting that my mom would be taken care of, but the first impression left us feeling out of place. During the appointment, I noticed a lack of warmth, communication, and attention to detail that you would expect from a professional salon experience. At the shampoo bowl, Yolanda did not adjust my mom's chair, speak with her, or ask basic comfort questions such as whether the water temperature was comfortable or if she preferred it warmer or cooler. Those small gestures are part of making a client feel cared for, and their absence was noticeable. About 10 minutes into the appointment, Bree did come over and kindly asked if I wanted to sit in the same room as my mom. I appreciated that gesture. However, when Bree walked me back, Yolanda said she was going to ask me the same thing. After the initial interaction, the change in tone felt uncomfortable and confusing. While my mom was at the shampoo bowl, I overheard that there was no way her hair could be blown out without straightening it. I clarified that we had booked a blowout, not a straightening service. After the service was completed, her hair was still very frizzy and did not look like a finished blowout. When I politely expressed my concerns about the result, Yolanda raised her voice and said, "I'm not used to doing this type of hair." That comment was extremely disappointing and made my mom feel singled out because of her natural hair texture. My mom has had successful blowouts at other salons, and the issue was not only the final result. It was the overall experience and the way she felt as a client. I reached out to Katie Enfield privately because I wanted to resolve this respectfully before posting publicly. While I appreciated receiving a response, I did not feel my concerns were fully acknowledged. Every client deserves to feel welcomed, respected, and cared for when they walk into a salon.

I've been going to Colleen for color touch-ups, highlights and cuts for 4 years now. She has the fun, colorful personality of an artist which makes every appointment fun. You can see it as she works. She looks at my hair and then the artistry starts. It's her skill, combined with experience and instinct that happens as she gives my hair just what it needs to create the style I wanted. Very Disappointing Customer Service Experience:…read more I initially reached out to Restoration in Santa Rosa after finding the business on Yelp. I scheduled an appointment with the owner, Colleen, for my mother, who was interested in getting a perm and having her gray covered. While I was away on a trip, my mother--who is living with dementia--unexpectedly colored her own hair using boxed color from Walmart, something she has done for many years. When I returned, I realized what had happened and that she had an appointment scheduled that same day. A couple of hours before the appointment, I did what I felt was the responsible thing: I contacted Colleen to be completely transparent about the situation. My mother's biggest concern was not wanting to damage her hair, and I simply wanted to get the professional opinion of the stylist before moving forward with a perm and additional color. Unfortunately, Colleen's response was extremely aggressive and defensive. She immediately spoke to me as though my mother had already missed her appointment and implied that we weren't going to show. I explained that her appointment wasn't until 1:45 and that it was only noon--that was precisely why I was calling ahead of time to discuss the situation. I also explained that my mother has dementia and that I was simply trying to make sure we handled her hair safely and appropriately. Rather than approaching the situation with understanding or professionalism, I felt as though I was being reprimanded and spoken to aggressively. At one point, I had to tell her directly that I did not appreciate being spoken to in that manner. She eventually said, essentially, "Why don't you come in and I'll let you know," but by that point the interaction had completely changed my perception of the business. I no longer felt comfortable entrusting my mother's hair care to someone who responded this way to a reasonable question from a family member trying to advocate for her. As a business owner, the first interaction with a potential client matters. I believe professionalism, patience, and empathy--especially when a client has disclosed that a loved one is struggling with dementia--should be fundamental to good customer service. I ultimately chose not to keep the appointment. I'm honestly grateful I reached out beforehand because it gave me the opportunity to see how the situation would be handled before putting my mother in that environment. It's unfortunate because I genuinely hoped this would be a positive experience for my mom. Instead, Colleen left me extremely disappointed.

My first appointment with Teresa was perfect, it was exactly the color I wanted and I was incredibly happy. At my second appointment I explicitly stated "I want to do what we did last time" yet she proceeded to make my hair significantly darker. I immediately brought up how much darker it was than the previous appt and she assured me it was only a dark gloss and would wash out and lighten up soon. I trusted her. And "left happy" because she assured me it was "just a gloss". I didn't speak up because I trusted her. At my third appointment everything went south. Before we started I brought up again that my hair was made too dark the previous appt and clearly communicated that I did not want my hair to be dark. Teresa proceeded to dye my hair pitch black. I immediately brought it to her attention at the end of my appt and let her know I was NOT happy with how dark my hair was. This time, Teresa's story completely changed, she told me she had actually used permanent dye at my second appointment not a gloss. After a lot of back and forth and attempted gaslighting she eventually admitted that she hadn't taken proper notes and couldn't remember exactly what she had done to my hair at my previous appointments. Awesome. Not only was this extremely unprofessional and disorganized on her part but throughout the process I felt completely gaslit. She put words in my mouth that I never said. She made decisions about my hair that I never consented to. She did what she wanted with my hair instead of communicating with me and getting my approval first. Her lack of accountability made an already bad situation feel even worse. She knew she had made a mistake, admitted it but still tried to gaslight me to agree with her rather than take accountability. To top it all off despite her completely admitting fault, she only offered me a partial refund. After her countless mistakes and the way the entire situation was handled, the partial refund felt like a slap in the face. I wish I would have never sat in her chair. It's unfortunate that this experience reflects on the salon because I'm sure there are much more professional stylists there to choose from. If you do decide to book with Teresa, I would STRONGLY recommend being VERY direct about what you want and making sure you explicitly consent to any changes before she proceeds. -5/10.
