I had to completely redo my irrigation - sprinkler heads, valves, and controller, with a mix of rotors, sprayers, and bubblers. Some complications were dense foliage, a tree, and various concrete/asphalt obstacles. I got several quotes and some other companies said this wasn't possible or that wouldn't work. LeQuan just nodded and got the job done. E&E's price was straightforward and fair, and because of that I added on a bunch of extra work. They built a fire pit, poured some concrete platforms, built front sidewalk posts, planted a line of hedges, and installed low-voltage lighting to a box right next to my sprinkler controller in my garage. Lack of communication, not showing up, or leaving and not coming back and we were left wondering if he was ever going to come back. Two weeks later he refunded money after seeing last review. This wasn't what we wanted so we reached out to LeQuan to install grass, automatic irrigation, a new patio and concreting a grill area in the back garden. LeQuan arrived early and went right to work analyzing which valve was defective. He was very careful not to create issues in the process of removing and replacing the Defective Valve and then rewiring sun baked wiring connections from 37 years of gardeners twisting wires, poor tape jobs and the elements. Communicating with this contractor has been like pulling teeth. I left my schedule totally open for him to come by and he couldnt give me a day until one day prior and no eta until I asked the night before. Although he named his own eta his employee was an hour late and proceeded to sit on his phone is his car smoking once here. I was never asked details about my project. I am hoping the work will occur today but I am not feeling good about it. As an update I asked him to have his employee leave as he did not communicate with me nor ask the scope of my project when he arrived. He responded to my request to communicate with his employee with "are you serious" and "wow" instead of aiming to improve the situation. I held off on posting this review because I wanted to let it go and just not hire them again, but several months later I found yet another problem with the work they did. Will not hire again. Very poor communication. I asked them for a price on a French drain and separate downspout drain system. When they came to install it they said they could only put in one drain and the price he gave me was for just the French drain. While they were working on the drain system they wouldn't communicate as to which days they were going to be working on it. Sometimes several days would go by with no work and no communication of when they were coming back. I had to call them several times to find out what was going on. Clearly I wasn't an important enough job. I'm not a landscaper but I know that a drain has be placed under a downspout to collect the water coming out of it. I had to ask them several times to move the drains so they are lined up with the downspouts and are sitting below the outlet to catch the water. They literally told me that even though the drain was 6 inches away and several inches ABOVE the downspout that "it should catch most of the water". I had to adjust every drain grate they put in to make sure it was actually going to catch the downspouts. I also asked them several times to make sure the French drain line was deep enough to be able to sod over it. In the end they piled dirt up over it and left me with a hump in the yard above the grass. It wasn't dug up under it in that section so it wasn't like the dirt was going to pack back down in that area. They also buried a busted sprinkler line that I specifically asked them to make sure they fixed before filling in the dirt. They didn't and I ended up with a geyser and a mud pit that I had to dig up and fix. Sure enough it was the sprinkler line they broke digging the drain line that I asked them to fix. I'm now re-sodding my yard and discovered a very large hole in the French drain on the bottom, clearly a square cut out of the bottom with a knife or scissors. Looks like the bottom was cut out to fit around a root. It's a good thing I found it because it was just letting dirt into the drain line which will eventually clog the whole system. I paid them a lot of money for the work they did (much more then the initial estimate) and I am very frustrated with the whole experience. Now I have to pay someone else to fix their work and it cost nearly as much as their initial estimate. read more

LeQuan is a stand up guy! He had fixed my sprinklers about a month prior for an affordable price, and then I noticed one of my sprinkler sections wasn't working. I reached out to him to mention my sprinklers were malfunctioning and if there was some sort of warranty. He came out to my house, checked all the valves, and found the issue quickly.
