He and I have different pressure preferences so I can guarantee they cater to people with opposing needs. I also believe it is a husband/wife duo that owns the spa and they are both so kind! I was in the spa one day when a customer was getting heated over not receiving service because they were late to their appointment, and the owners handled the uncomfortable conflict with such grace that I commend them for. Upon arrival, they offer tea while you wait and provide water and candy when you leave, but other than that, they don't do extreme decor, music, or aromatherapy like some other salons, but I personally enjoy the good quality massage at a decent price over an expensive Massage just for the aesthetic. However, the establishment felt sketchy, raising doubts about their professionalism and licensure. The massage I received was subpar and uncomfortable. The masseur's touch felt inappropriate and lacking in technique. When I requested more pressure, his response was overly aggressive, focusing uncomfortably on my buttocks. The post-massage experience was equally frustrating. Redeeming the Groupon was a confusing and time-consuming process, taking about 15 minutes. The staff's demeanor during this was unprofessional and made me feel like a potential thief. I could see the need to creep up on the pressure applied. Heated stones finished off the excellent back massage, & the front was just an obliged cursorily massage. Wifey's technician concentrated on some knots & cramping right areas instead of full body front/rear. It was wonderful. Attentive call to us regarding our 3:00pm Appt. Moving it back to 3:30pm, didn't get into the room until 4:00pm & over @ 5:00pm. Not a complaint as the establishment seems rather busy & VERY accommodating of "running lates" (clients). I was a walk in, because my legs have had chronic pain for 5 months. So I ask for a 40 minute leg massage, as I walked in the room the manager recommended 30 minutes upper body and 30 minutes lower body. For 60 minutes and I'm glad I did it. My massager was Cindy she worked on my neck and shoulders I had a pinched nerve. After 30 mins she told me that my back still had knots in it and she couldn't release then might need extra time. So it was $20 more so agreed. She then worked on my back even more after it was all done. It was close to a hour & 45 minute massage for $80.00. I had a limp in my walk and as I'm walking to the car I realized I was not limping and all day my knees didn't hurt. I'm going to try to go on a regular session because the chiropractor I went to never truly stop the pain. I booked this deal on Groupon for my boyfriend's birthday. A 60 minute couples massage. This place was a little hidden had you drive the shopping center slowly to find it. However, it was a very nice establishment. We were immediately greeted as we walked in & taken in to our room right after. They asked each of us individually what pressure we liked between medium and hard. Then said if during the massage we wanted to change anything just ask.
