This place had good reviews, so first I called to see what the wait was like, then drove over. The person I spoke to on the phone was pleasant. When I arrived, they asked me to scan a QR code to check in, that was neat. Although I went in for just an emissions inspection, the person who checked me in saw that my state inspection was due soon and suggested getting that done as well which I agreed to. Then I sat in the waiting area in the back and worked a bit. I wish I'd taken a picture of the waiting area before others arrived because it was so cute! It was decorated with a beach theme and there were small couches and arm chairs and games to play. I think the emissions and safety inspection took about an hour or a little more. When they finished the person who checked me out was also pleasant and chatty. He was reviewing my vehicle and what services I needed and I commented that it was much less than what my dealer recommended. He was very professional and said that the dealer might be more conservative but he believes in only getting what's necessary. I appreciated his take, and especially that he didn't feel the need to talk negatively about a competitor. I will absolutely be back to get my car serviced. Came back for an oil change, full synthetic change for $50? That beats Jiffy Lube - without the hard up-sell for other work you don't need. So glad to find this place. Really feels like they treat your car how they'd treat their own cars: what needs to be done that will keep your car in great shape, but not overselling on costlier options. Feels like you can always go bigger and better with regard to car repair: do I want a fluid change or flush? Do I want the premium or ULTRA premium brake pads?
