Too my car for a simple emissions test. Sat in line for ~3 hours, watching each car take an average of 35-45 minutes. While the inspection line was long (5 cars in front of me and 6 cars behind), it was taking too long. I understand not everyone can do inspections, but it was frustrating to see several mechanics in the empty bays, without work to do, and not helping out the single inspector who was obviously drowning in work. My fiancé and I took our two vehicles here for the state inspection. My fiancé was in line for an hour and I was in line for 30 minutes. We were told they will stop accepting cars at 5pm, I arrived at 3:45pm. We were both turned away at 4:24pm due to the inspector needing to go home. The issue is they did not tell everyone this. They only told the last six or so cars this. They were still accepting the first 4 cars in line. Seeing this makes me feel as if they accepted too many cars and didn't want to stay late to finish the job. I am highly disappointed in this service and will not return. read more

I came here several days ago for an oil change, and I don't even think I was here for 20 minutes, Y'ALL. The young man was very polite and informative about my car. There were also workers cleaning around pumps and watering the flowers; it felt nice to see people actually love their jobs. What's not to like. My oil changes are done quickly by a friendly staff that suggests you go inside for a soda or coffee (every cup is brewed fresh from beans). Once inside Elleni welcomes you and assures you find what you need and helps with the new coffee machine. If you've been told you can get a better price with a coupon somewhere, I suggest you consider your time, free beverages and an excellent car wash for free just across the street. The car wash alone is probably $25. Needless to say, it's the only place I go and this time my husband went with and now he will be going there too. They are 10 miles from home and worth it. read more

I went to get an inspection and oil change when while they're doing the service the Sunoco offers a free coffee/ drink. They always have promotions including a discount with a chick fil a receipt from the chick fil a next door! So I always get chick fil a and eat while in line for my service then have my coffee while they're working on the car. I rescind everything I said. This place should be avoided at all costs. I went in to get my tires rotated and I suddenly had issue after issue. My whole car was shaking after Yates touched my car, and even go back THREE times, they did not fix it despite telling me otherwise. They also lost a bolt to my wheel and did not order me a new one until I showed up in person. This whole ordeal lasted 4 months. A complete waste of time, energy, and money. Believe all the other 1 star reviews This is not a 5 star business and they don't deserve your money. I have actually been a customer here for years, over a decade. The last 3 times I have come here for a safety inspection I have been turned away because the inspector chooses to close his inspection line early. Literally what I was told the last time I came here to get my car inspected. I actually had heart surgery a couple weeks ago and tried to bring my car here before the surgery and after. I just need some kindness and compassion even if from a car repair shop. I was on base earlier today and was stopped at the gate because my inspection is out of date. If I knew of another shop near my house that does inspections I would go but because I am familiar with this show it's where I kept trying to get things taken care of at. Went to this place for an annual inspection about 9 months ago, Aug 2024. Never again! When an older car comes in they look to run the bill up. I needed a few things fixed to pass inspection, but their prices were 2x and 3x the price. I asked for a temporary, 2 week inspection sticker and got it. I also needed a new tire because a nail was in the sidewall, I understood, and said OK. I got a ride home and came back. The new tire wasn't there yet. It took 4+ hours for the tire to be delivered and more time to install. I could have Ubered to the parts store and bring the tire back in less time. For the other work I needed done, I purchased the items myself, saved $$$ and took them to a Mechanic I've used before and have grown to trust. Got all the repairs done for much less. I took the car back 14 days later to get my 1 year VA inspection sticker. The guy in charge of this shop stops work or works slower to talk to an almost endless parade of salespeople who stop by this shop. The owner is at this place much of the day. He knows what's going on here and has to approve of it. Don't take your car here for a state inspection or emissions test, it's a money grab operation probably with newer and mid-aged cars too. read more

Best location for state inspection, period! Comes with a ticket for a free car wash, good for redemption within 14 days! They also have a free air machine on the premises (which is a rare find) and when it's not working, staff is willing to assist in filling your tires from their service area! Kyle and Lois are extremely friendly and helpful; both absolutely saved the day for me when I experienced low tire pressure (twice) a couple weeks ago. Once, the line for state inspection was so long, it wrapped around the parking lot, blocking the air machine. Kyle offered to fill my tire if I simply pulled around to the service area. A week later, I was on my way to a funeral and the free air machine was out of service; Lois offered to fill my tire and made what was a nightmare on my way to a heartbreaking occasion a ray of sunshine in my day. Today, a kind young man named Tyvez approached my car and offered to pump my gas. When the card reader didn't work, he didn't give up, and went in for me to swipe my card inside. What? Who does that?
