I drive to this office for my dental needs from Scottsdale. I'm happy to do it because I get great care there in a non-pressure environment, which was a big factor for me becoming a patient. They give you all possible options so that you can make an informed decision. The office is beautiful and surrounded by nature as well as having a calming atmosphere inside. I recommend Dr. Swidler and his staff, especially Karla who is a wonderful dental assistant. They offer other things like acupuncture and yoga, which is very cool. They need to be investigated by the IRS for money laundering and fraud. I was new to Tucson and after some reviews (which in hindsight were probably fake) ended up here. They did Caps to "fix my jaw" but ended up making it worse!! I payed upfront about 24K and there would be visits where Dr. E on paper did a "root canal" or some other procedure, she DID NOT do, for $X amount of money with my name on it and I was told not to worry about it and the paper was rushed away from me. I wish her staff could talk because they know all the shady shit she's done and people she's blatantly wronged!!! read more

After every visit they send an email that says how much they enjoyed seeing me and wanted me to know they did everything they could to make my experience comfortable and wanted to know how they could do a better job and wanted me to take a moment to evaluate my experience, so I did. Guess what? Comments are not anonymous and they didn't like what I had to say, so they made up a reason for getting me to come in and confronted me and "fired" me from the practice because I said I found the music they played triggered traumatic memories. Just be forewarned that they don't really care about your experience or comfort. So if your comfort and experience at the dentist matters to you, I suggest you go someplace else. The people at the office at E Dental Solutions, were always nice to me. The time before the last time I went there, for an appointment after they had moved, for some reason my appointment got cancelled even though the appointment card in my possession, had the date and time I was supposed to be there. I went one more time to get some work done and just got an evaluation. E Dental Solutions was much more through than the last dentist that I had gone to. I decided after that to stop going and will seek out another dentist who in my opinion is better. Another reason I stopped going is that after getting work done I would not get out of there without paying upwards of $2000+ for work. I found them to be pricey. I've had my fair share of frustrating customer service experiences, but this one takes the cake. I've never had such a frustrating and unprofessional experience in my life. It all started when I called in to resolve an issue with my husband's appointment. The office manager was rude and defensive right from the get-go and seemed extremely uninterested in helping. They kept interrupting me, talking over me, and making it clear they didn't want to be bothered with my concerns. I tried to remain calm and politely explained the situation, but they wouldn't even listen to my full explanation. Instead of offering a solution, she interrupted me multiple times and made me feel like my concern was not valid. It was clear she wasn't interested in hearing me out--her tone was condescending, and she acted like she had better things to do than assist a patient. The real kicker came when, in the middle of me explaining, she actually hung up on me. No apology, no warning, nothing. I was left in complete shock. How is it even acceptable for an office manager to hang up on a patient, especially when they are trying to resolve a problem? I was left staring at the phone, dumbfounded. To make matters worse, I called back immediately, only to be put on hold because they had to see if she was available. What a shock, no one came back after they put me on hold so I hung up only to call back and guess what? - It went to voicemail! It's one thing to have an unpleasant experience, but to be treated with such disrespect and then abruptly hung up on is beyond unacceptable. I honestly don't know how an office can let their customer service get this bad. I won't be using their services again. Which is a shame because I really like Dr. Wissinger and her work. It is hard to find a good Dentist you trust. I was in the Dental field for 6+ years and if I ever heard my office manager treat a patient like that, well, they wouldn't be working there the next day. DO NOT EVER USE! **Please read!** I had a broken bracket in my braces but my orthodontist is in another country. I have "Fastbraces" which few use here in Tucson. I found E Dental Solutions on the Internet and was excited that someone would understand my braces. Appointment setup was 5 stars. Check in was 5 stars. Nothing good after these two items. 1. I was 10 minutes early for my appointment but not seen until 21 minutes after appt time. 2. Dr. Elle immediately recognized my braces and said she could help. She did examine my braces. I asked if she could take over my care since I cannot travel internationally right now. 3. She disappeared and brought me back a quote sheet. $245 to fix my bracket (UNREAL!) and $2515 to take over my care (even though I am at 85% of completion). 4. Because she was running behind, she could not fix my bracket the day of my appt. So I said I would think it over... immensely disappointed that I has spent all this time, only to leave with a broken bracket. 5. SURPRISE, SURPRISE, SURPRISE: I was ready to exit when the front desk stopped me to inform me that I had to pay for today's visit. I asked, "What am I paying for?" She said that the consult was $95. Let me get this straight... Dr. Elle spend a total of NINE minutes with me to look at a broken bracket and did NOT repair it. You are going to charge me $95 for what? There was no service provided. So I was forced to pay $95 for a visit to receive a $2,760 quote for future services. Are you serious? This is completely unethical! To illustrate... I have since found another orthodontist who has been amazing. First consult visit included X-rays and full exam plus a quote for future services to either fix bracket and/or replace braces and take over care. Paid NOTHING for this quote and consult visit! Just had my braces removed and new braces added at 1/3 of the ridiculous cost of this E Dental Solutions. Again... please avoid, avoid, avoid! read more

I have not had dental problems for a little while thankfully and so currently come in when I visit Tucson to get cleanings. Selina is the best hygenist I've encountered to date! Avoid at all costs. I was recommended here from my previous practice after the dentist retires. On 2nd visit, the hygienist (casey?) started doing a gum exam by jamming the tool into my gums so hard I was lifting out of my chair in pain while telling me she'd just got back from 10 days in Cancun. She was reading all of my pockets as 5s and 6s - very deep pockets. I take great care of my mouth and have never had a 6 in my life, very few 5s, and no history of periodontal disease ever. I also have "pseudo" pockets that can read as a 5 even though the gum is fine. Then the dentist (Wissinger) comes in and tells me about the $1400 of scaling and root planing I need for my serious periodontal disease. She didn't even bother to doublecheck the hygienist on this very anomalous gum exam. I immediately went to another dentist for a second opinion and he and his hygienist both said my gums are fine. I'm not sure if the hygienists are getting kickbacks for this or what the motivation is, but this one was completely unethical. Certainly the hygienist should never be able to practice again with the pain she inflicted on me and the attempt to pick my pocket for a very intensive procedure that I didn't even need. Maybe just a bad hygienist, but usually this kind of problem starts at the top. read more

Wow. This place has been a nightmare. I found a groupon for this place and should have been cautioned from the beginning. But the reviews for the clinic were good so I stuck with it. This place nickel and dimes you for every single thing, without letting you know. I went in for Invisalign, which I am unsatified with the results. The front desk receptionist, Pamela, is the best part of this clinic, friendly and professional; however, I am completely unsatified with the way Dr. Wissenger chooses to conduct her practice. The process seemed as if I were the first person to ever get Invisalign there... which is never a good sign. I was charged for the first visit, without prior knowledge, and for X-rays, which they could have sent to my insurance company, but charged me instead. That was a bad start, but they wouldn't let me leave the clinic without paying $800 to leave with my X-rays from the first appointment. I stuck it out. Unsatisfied with results and just received a bill in the mail for a recent "follow-up" appointment. This is the kind of issues I've had. If I had known they would have charged me for a less than 5 minute appointment with a dental tech who did nothing for me, I would have passed on it. Also, I recieved this bill in the mail today, and it's due in 7 days. Extremely unprofessional. Am deeply frustrated and hope this review helps someone steer clear of this awful clinic. read more

Steve has been my dentist my entire life! Yes, the office is outside of the city limits. Yes, the office is placed on Steve's acreage on Jojoba Drive. And yes, when you arrive, you feel like you're not even in a dental office. These characteristics are what make you feel like you are apart of the Medicine Wheel Family, not just another patient on a list. For those who write negative reviews, they are obviously looking for something more orthodox and, well, boring. Steve's prerogative is to SAVE your teeth and his whole team will assist with whatever it takes. The holistic nature of his practice is heightened by body work and body-jaw alignment practices.
