Today I went in to make an extra key for visiting family members. The cashiers are always friendly and directed me to the key folks. There was a great selection of cute keys. They cut them fast and we were out the door in about 5 minutes, tops. Here's what's funny - I am old fashioned because the young people I got the keys for don't have wallets or purses. Everything is on their phone. So I'm not sure if these keys will get used, but the helpful hardware folks at Ace were perfect.

While searching for a specific item, I approached several employees for assistance. Rather than taking a moment to help or walk me to the product, I was simply pointed toward the other side of the store and left to continue searching on my own. One of the reasons customers choose a neighborhood hardware store over a large box retailer is the expectation of knowledgeable, helpful service. Unfortunately, that was not my experience during this visit. I felt ignored and unimportant as a customer. Based on this experience, this will likely be my last visit to this location. Customer service is what keeps people coming back, and if improvements are not made, I believe the store will continue to lose loyal customers.

I have a sales rep at the Fresno LOWES I work with. I finally decided what I want and thought I…read moretake care of it over the phone to save time and avoid coming in. I kept calling and calling and no one would pick up, the phone kept ringing. I tried for hours throughout my work time but no one would pick up so I decided to show up in person after work to place my order. When I got there and seen my sale rep, all happy to announce I finally decided which blinds I want. I even shared with him I been calling the stores all day but the phone kept ringing. He straight admitted he sees I calls and not pick up. Another sales clerk worked right next time him give me the uncomfortable pitty look. I am speechless and was humiliated. I ended up financing with Lowe's and he informed they dont have the option of 36 months interest free (roughly around that timeframe) but he will call their finance dept next morning and get it corrected. Provided his email address for me to reach out for an update. I emailed the next evening, he never responded. It's been weeks and still no response. I have to call myself to get it corrected. He already provided me the quotes when we first met. When he took down my order, with my quote right by his side, i still repeated to him how I want my blinds to remind him. Order printed, I tried to double check but he rudely tells me to signed it. When the blinds came and the installer put it up, it was the wrong order! REAL BAD EXPERIENCES WITH LOWES FROM START TO END!
