I have a sales rep at the Fresno LOWES I work with. I finally decided what I want and thought I take care of it over the phone to save time and avoid coming in. I kept calling and calling and no one would pick up, the phone kept ringing. I tried for hours throughout my work time but no one would pick up so I decided to show up in person after work to place my order. When I got there and seen my sale rep, all happy to announce I finally decided which blinds I want. I even shared with him I been calling the stores all day but the phone kept ringing. He straight admitted he sees I calls and not pick up. Another sales clerk worked right next time him give me the uncomfortable pitty look. I am speechless and was humiliated. I ended up financing with Lowe's and he informed they dont have the option of 36 months interest free (roughly around that timeframe) but he will call their finance dept next morning and get it corrected. Provided his email address for me to reach out for an update. I emailed the next evening, he never responded. It's been weeks and still no response. I have to call myself to get it corrected. He already provided me the quotes when we first met. When he took down my order, with my quote right by his side, i still repeated to him how I want my blinds to remind him. Lowe's has a lot of stuff we need for our general everyday home improvement and they're slowly phasing out name brands for the cheaper generic brands to cut costs. That's not my biggest issue though. My issue is they've allowed Sunrun employees to setup a booth and these guys are super predatory sales people who are rude. Genuinely they should ban these companies from being in there. Please be weary of anything customer service or management tells you regarding your credit card statement and discounts. Be prepared to pay penalty fees/interest! After multiple trips to the store and speaking with multiple employees (including management)... we were told the Lowe's card 5% discount would reflect on the credit card statement. Upon receiving the statement and seeing no discount we drove back to the store to get more information. We were told yet again by the original employee and a manager we will see the discount on the next billing cycle. Next billing cycle rolls around and still no 5% discount. Now we have interest fees to pay on our credit card statement that is overdue solely because we were told to wait a second cycle cycle. A 5% discount normally isn't much but when you are spending thousands of dollars on supplies for a remodel, any discount is appreciated. What isn't appreciated is their lack of knowledge and their ability to lie to a customer (especially after speaking with management). This ended up costing us more money and we are left as very dissatisfied customers due to your false promises and fraudulent promotions of a discount you didn't honor. Moving forward please do not promote or promise discounts to your customers if you are not willing to honor them. We specifically used your company for a 5% discount on all the remodel supplies and you ended up ripping us off and costing us much more money than anticipated. If there is a possibility you might need employee assistance, don't shop in the evening. Got there at 8, they're open until 10. The hubby loaded up 4x8 sheets of plywood on a cart. He turned around and the register in the lumber area had closed. With all the middle of the aisle displays and other customers along the way to the front registers, there was no way those sheets of plywood were going to make it through there. I had gone to the countertop area in the back and gotten out the 8' piece of Formica I wanted to cover bottom cabinets in the garage. I needed the little strip that covers the exposed edge of the Formica. Do not ask anyone who works in custom cabinets about Formica. The Formica people all go home at 5. I went to the front service desk to see if someone could tell me if it was in stock or if I could order it myself online. After a bit of finger pointing at each other as to who would be able to answer my question, a girl checked on the computer (using the pic on my phone for the product info). Salvador, the driver - brings the items to the back... and Frank brings them to the side of our house. Frank is built like Arnold Schwarzenegger. He lifts two stacks of the (24-lb each) bamboo and runs from the truck about 15-feet. Frank went back-and-forth 16 times in the 100-degree heat - and he didn't even breath hard at the end of the delivery, though he sure was sweating. These men are pros. I personally usually use the Lowes app when I need to find something. Directs you from aisle to bay. Very precise. I usually lose a sense of time when combing through the great selection of items. Deals are hidden throughout the store. Keep a lookout for clearance sections. You never know what great things you'll find. read more

I never received any call and if I did I would have told her to shove the used floor model. I purchased a fan from Lowe's on 05/09/25. It does not show up on my app and it states it is under another account. I got a link to track the shipment and it worked once then quit working. I went to the store and they found my order but could not give me access to it. Now I'm waiting and hoping my order shows up but have no way of seeing whether. It's in process or not. But, my real complaint is that Lowe's has the absolute worse customer service setup I have ever run across. You will be happy enough at Lowe's until you have a problem. Same as another review...no one answers the phone at the Fresno Lowe's. On the 4th attempt to call, I drove 15 minutes to the store w/ my phone in hand still ringing. Once there, I was connected to the Visalia Lowe's...by phone...and they took care of me. Props to the Visalia Lowe's. I complained to the Fresno manager about not answering phones and making customers drive to the store for answers/service. He explained they're busy... and that's it. He was annoyed w/ me because he offered me an explanation (they're busy) and I still seemed upset. I have to say I have never had an experience like this before at any store. I bought river rock online and picked them up curbside. When I got home, I saw that they were the wrong product. I started a return. I had Lowe's pick them up because there was no option to return them via curbside, and I couldn't bring them inside to customer service, which I find absurd (8 bags 50 lb each and I'm disabled). The truck came and picked them up two days later. I asked if my account would be credited immediately. The driver said as soon as they get to the warehouse later that day. A few days later I still had not received my refund, so I called the 800 number and was told it can take 3 to 10 days. Well, OK. I called again a few days later and was told it could take up to 10 BUSINESS days (it had been 8 then) so I should call back in 2 more days if I haven't received the refund. Well, OK. Today is Day 11. So I called them back and was told they'd have to connect me to the store. Really? So I call the store and was immediately put on hold for 30 minutes after it ringing forever! I hung up and called back. I finally got a CSR and told her I'm checking on a refund I never received. She put me on hold again...and I have been waiting for another 40 minutes and counting!! I really am beyond upset. I will just contact my bank and dispute the charge at this point. I will NEVER buy anything from Lowe's again. read more

We love to go to Lowe's to buy and peruse ideas for home improvement. However, we have had two experiences there where we needed help and none was provided. We are both senior citizens. My husband loves to garden all types of vegetables and fruits. We asked for help and no one came to help us. Today (like the last incident) we had about 250 lbs of different soils and amendments. Each bag weighed approximately 50 pounds. It is difficult to unload our basket and transfer the items to our truck. Finally he gave up (again) and loaded as best he could, all the materials he purchased. He had to sit in the truck for a while to catch his breath. We feel that senior citizens with disabilities are invisible. We have not been supported or helped when we needed it. This is shameful and disrespectful. You can do better Lowe's! My wife and son were in the brick aisle. Fortunately he was far away but my wife picked up a brick and had 4 bricks fall on her, hurting her hand. Instead of helping her there we had to walk to customer service where we then had to wait until I asked a woman at information to get us medical attention now, then she radioed a guy who went to get bandaids. They had no cold pack. Clearly there is no protocols for injuries at this store and upon looking at the bricks in the back the whole setup is an accident waiting to happen. I came to this Lowe's Home Improvement by myself on 08/25/20 as I really needed something organic to fight off white flies that are killing my cucumber plant and making its way to my herbs as well. I researched what stores had Garden Safe products in stock and the Fresno location did at a reasonable price! The other locations like Home Depot had them SO over priced compared to to Lowe's so I was willing to make the drive. I could not help myself for checking out the Garden center and stumpled upon Bell Pepper plants already producing and was so Tempted to buy it! To add it to my garden that I started late into the COVID-19 pandemic. Staff was very friendly and kind! This location was FULLY stocked on everything. No problem finding anything. I am surprised how LOW ratings this location has which is surprising! The Garden section is so beautiful and booming! I can get lost there just being consumed by nature! Overall, if you need your garden needs to not hesitate to come here better stocked and cheaper than Home Depot!!! read more

i'm amazed with their indoor tropical plant selection. they carry a few different syngonium varieties: pink splash, maria bronze etc. i found several peperomias! they carry more of a variety of peperomia here than the local nursery! starter plants priced at $6.98 & more established plants at $19 & up. they could improve their succulent & cactus variety though & it would be the perfect garden center. they have beautiful pots & some on sale at great prices. also, this lowe's is very clean & organized. customer service is excellent, on hand & ready to help. i always have a good time coming here. read more

My experience at this Lowe's was almost comically bad, although it wasn't funny at the time. I needed a single piece of wood cut on a Saturday. I waited around for about 20 minutes after one employee radioed to have someone meet me in the cutting area. No one came and I wandered around the store until I found an employee who offered to cut it. Okay, not so bad....until I got home and realized the cut was 3 inches off! I took this same piece of wood back the following week to have those 3 inches cut off. Again, one employee radioed but no one was available to cut wood. There were at least 6 employees there, but I was told none were trained to use the saw and that everyone who could use the saw was at lunch at the same time. What!?? I am no manager, but how about staggering lunches? How about training more people? How about telling one employee to get off his rear for 30 seconds to help a customer and then go back to lunch? I literally waited over half an hour to get someone to fix their mistake from the previous week, and the actually cutting of the wood didn't even take one minute! I always buy my paint here and have never had an issue. Right now i just wasted almost an hour waiting for 1 gallon of paint. A guy with a giant septum piercing told me 5-10 minutes. It was 45 minutes of me checking back and forth. It seemed a lot of people were waiting so I figured they were backed up on orders. After 45 mins i asked a new guy that was in the paint area. The color I had asked for wasn't there, no swatch no notes nothing. Completely wasted part of my afternoon. Not to mention while I walked by I heard the guy with the septum joking that he wanted to get hurt so he could go home. Lynna in the garden department at Lowe's is my go to person for ANY QUESTIONS about gardening, planting and soil amendments. Lynna is very knowledgeable, friendly and really nice. She is very familiar with the Fresno climate...hot summers and cold winters. She would ask me questions about the particular environment that I plan on planting(full or partial shade, sun, water, etc.) so that I purchase the correct plant/flowers for my yard. I live less than 5 minutes from Home Depot but will drive across town to go to Lowe's where the customer service is impeccable. Lately, I have become a You Tube girl, that enjoys home projects. I can trust the sale staffs will assist me with each of these projects. I will wonder the store looking for unique ways to create my latest project. I can always count on Gabe in lumber to steer me in the right direction for the materials, Daniel in paint provides guidance on the proper stain or weatherproofing my wood, Scott and Rex in hardware provide the nails and screw. The girls in customer service always are helpful with returns when I buy 1 too many of an item. Melissa helped me set up my Pro acct. There are many others that have gone above and beyond to help. I can always find knowledgeable staff on the floor to assist me, people appear happy with their employment because you can always find the same people to help you. There doesn't appear to be a large turn over in staff. When I go else where, I'm always looking for a knowledgeable sales clerk. It's frustrating to go to a store and not be able to find the proper assistance. Another bonus is they are not masked! Thank you for giving us a normal environment to shop. FYI- if you are building anything. They will only refund your money on your items within 90 days with a receipt. Even if you only need to exchange the item for something else. And it's in the original package and they still sell the item! They will not let you bring it back or exchange it. I have shopped at Lowe's stores around country for two decades and I can say confidently that this store has the most incompetent and inconsiderate staff I have encountered. Their system is terrible (store associates have no idea how to navigate it) and they offload their installations to third parties (with whom store associates have no idea how to communicate). Nobody at Lowe's will be able to give you a consistent answer, they will transfer you from associate to associate (without telling you), and your appliance will not be installed anywhere close to when it was promised. Here's a fun tidbit: When you select the day you want the installation to happen (at the time of purchase), you will later be told that your selection was meaningless.
