    Corn in a cup...
    Marcus F.

I found E.'lo.te at the Grand Avenue Festival in Escondido CA. They were one of many different food tents but Mexican style corn sounded like a great snack option. My order was a cup of corn with butter and cheese and no mayo. On the condiments table you can choose from various seasonings and hot sauces including Tajon and Tapatio.. I only added some lime. My thoughts? Delicious! You can also order the corn cobb on a stick. I chose the bowl because I didn't want corn stuck in my teeth. The bowl was $6.. E.'lo.te can be found at various East North County events like the Tamale Festival and the Grand Avenue festival. They also have a roadside stand in Valley Center...

This girl has a bad attitude. Bad service!!!

I came here today for a cup of Elote. We come here very often and they are so good and the service is good as well but not today 3/18/23 5:00pm. The Elote was good but not the service...this girl (shown in pictures) was rude and with an attitude. It seem like she was working there forcefully. Like she was mad about something. But anywayz hopefully she's not there next time we come around.

Corn in a cup and on the cob with mayo and cheese!

$7 for a small styrofoam cup of corn. Kinda pricey for a local corner spot here in the countryside. It's like San Diego County fair price.

They're back! Any time we're out for a ride we have to stop here for tasty corn and some fresh juice.

The corn the cob was actually a really good size and was so fresh tasting-it tasted like grilled corn, delicious and reasonably priced!

my search for the best taco spot in sd is finally over. im a big tacos el g hater and tj tacos blew…read morethem out of the park. tacos el g used to be good, don't get me wrong. but the quality went down, salsa tastes like water, meat is tough, dry, and chewy, and expensive. tj tacos did everything right. tacos were huge and full of meat. 10/10 no notes. we ordered adobada, carne asada, lengua, tripas, and cabeza tacos. everything was insane. adobada was juicy, flavorful, and addicting. my brother looooved their carne asada and he's picky with his tacos too! the smokiness and char from the grill gave it the absolute best flavor. it was also super tender and juicy. my lengua and cabeza were just perfect. cabeza wasn't too fatty like some places. i enjoyed how carne asada was paired with a fresh flour tortilla while the others came with corn. they had the best tortillas! i'm just a girl who loves salsa and i need them spicy. that's where a lot of tacos spots here fall short. their salsas, especially verde, were spicy and soooo good. i was so impressed! lots of seating inside and outside. you order first and pay after. don't forget to ask for grilled onions, jalapeños, and extra salsa. can't wait to come back for drive thru!

Their asada is super juicy with bits of fat and cartilage. Has a nice charcoal taste. The adobada is nicely seasoned and tender with bits of fat. Cabeza was like a super tender and juicy pulled meat. Tripas was super crispy and their quesadillas are super creamy and slightly salty. I've asked before to get tripas and quesadillas more seared and it made a huge difference! They have good red and green salsa. Spicy but not super hot.
