Just had a great massage today. Needed focus on my lower back and hips. Once in the room, i asked the therapist for a Thai massage. She told me it would be $10 in addition to the $60 for the 1 hr. There was a little bit of a language barrier, but ok, I would pay it. When I entered I saw a sign at the reception desk that said "hot stones- free" and I asked for that too. She told me it's another $10. We went back and forth about the sign, and then she told me ok, I'll give you stones for free. My massage was great and when it was over, she told me I was to pay her and she stood between me and the door. I thought this was strange but no problem, I paid her. Unfortunately, I ran out of cash and only had enough for a $5 tip and apologized. She scoffed at me, letting me know i only gave her a $5 tip. O told her I'd make up for it next time. Terrible massage and i'll tell you why: The elderly woman that did it started off well enough but I asked for deep tissue. Everytime I asked her to go deeper she said no and said a few words in Chinese to herself. She was obviously agitated that she was actually asked to give a deep tissue. I also smelled in there and was extremely cold. After the massage, as I began to exit the room she rushed in with a cup of water, closed the door while blocking it (essentially kidnapping) and demanded a tip. I told her that she did a terrible job and I wasn't going to give her one. After arguing for a few seconds she let me out of the room and told me not to come back anymore. Upon checking my bank account an hour later, I saw that she had charged the tip anyway in an amount of 40 extra dollars. read more

My wife and l get a couple's massage approximately 3 to 4 times a month my wife gets Carol and l get Cindy we usually get an hour to 1-1/2 hour massage my wife gets the hot stones and l get my back walked on these ladies are very professional if you want conversation durning the massage they talk to you if you want silence they will give you that too. They give us the best massage every, one thing people forget about durning the massage if you need more concentration on your feet or your arms let them know because they are not mind readers you can ask them medium, soft, or deep tissue massage or ask them to change from deep tissue to a medium pressure, durning the massage. Don't forget ask for Carol or Cindy the other girls probably do real well too, we just ask for the same two ladies. Want to say one other thing $10.00 tip in any massage parlor is not enough the therapist basically work for tips, In my opinion at least a minimum $20 tip. I had my haircut next door, which is my go-to barber. I should have read the reviews prior to coming in. The massage was not tgat good; I've had much better. So when I handed the woman $5 (she made sure she was in the room while I dressed up!) she scoffed at me and demanded $5 more! I have massages often but never have I encountered somebody demanding more for tip! I told her I wasn't really satisfied (she didn't massage my arms having spent 55 MINUTES on my back!) and offered to give her $2 more but she refused. I have only wonderful things to say about this place. Emily is super duper amazing, and Carol is great too. It doesn't matter what is ailing me, if I am getting a massage just to relax, or like like tonight, I had some gnarly pain in my shoulder, like a pinched nerve or something. I was hesitant to try this place out because of the 3 star rating, but I really needed a massage and my usual spot was booked. I was greeted shortly after entering and they took my dad and I right away. We must have come at the perfect time, because there were a ton of people calling and walking in for appointments. This place seems really busy. I got the 60 min foot reflexology for $25. They do the usual hot foot bath/soak. However, they gave me heating pads for my back - something I haven't gotten anywhere else. It was a nice touch. I didn't get my lady's name but she was so strong! Don't be fooled by their petite figures, folks! They start with your head then shoulders and arms and then feet + calves. She worked on my feet and calves for a good 20 minutes. It was awesome. Then you turn over and they work on your back, triceps, glutes, hams, and more calves. Overall, it was a great massage, especially for the price. The one thing that made this a 4 star review is that you're in a curtained off part of the hallway for these massages, and you can hear everything (people walking around, coming in and out, and talking in other rooms).
