My experience at E-Optometry was top notch! Dr. Tran is an exceptionally great person foremost and an outstanding Optometrist as well! I had an eye injury from my kids and Yelped for a local Optometrist and found Dr. Kelly Tran had great reviews. I called and they squeezed me in for a same day appointment. I showed up, filled out the necessary paperwork and in 10 minutes I was with Dr. Tran. If you have fears about getting your eyes checked, then I highly recommend you see Dr. Tran. She is extremely personable, friendly, positive and professional. I can't say enough good things about her. I had a typical eye exam, retina exam, eye pressure exam and she comforted me all the way through! Her staff are great too. Her assistant helped me pick out frames, did it with a smile and helped find what suited my style and budget. I called my wife and right away told her we have a new Optometrist going forward. Highly recommend Dr. Tran for your entire family.

Having two children who wear glasses, I initially thought investing in frames from Warby Parker…read morewould be a great choice, especially with their complimentary adjustments. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite. I have gone into the store multiple times to have the glasses adjusted because the frames frequently become loose. Every time, I've felt like I was inconveniencing the employees simply by asking them to provide a service that Warby Parker advertises as included. They even boasted about this when I purchase the frames! But my most recent experience was the final straw. The employee took the glasses out of my hands and slammed them down on the counter while mumbling something under her breath to the other worker. I was genuinely shocked. The other worker stood there shocked as well watching her act this way. I reminded her that complimentary adjustments are included with the glasses, and she didn't respond to me. I have never felt like I have inconvenienced someone so badly. And while the other worker stood there watching her act like this, it was mortifying. When she handed the glasses back to me, I asked for her name because she flipped her name tag. Her response was, "I apologize for my behavior. I'm just having a bad day." Having a bad day is understandable. Treating a customer disrespectfully is not. A difficult day does not excuse slamming a customer's belongings on the counter or making them feel unwelcome for simply utilizing a benefit that comes with their purchase. At that point, I decided to take my business elsewhere. Warby Parker lost a customer. And it wasn't solely based off this staff members "bad day". It was the accruement of all the other times you made customers feel bad prior. Free adjustments mean very little if customers are made to feel like a burden for asking for them.

-5 STARS I visited the store to make a return and was…read moreextremely disappointed by the level of customer service I received. When I arrived, there were two employees assisting a single customer who was making a purchase of more than $2,000. An employee named Arien (I assume this is his name as it was on the return receipt, but could very well be the other employee working) asked what I needed, and I told them I was there to make a return. I was told they would help me in a few minutes. After waiting about 10 minutes, Arien thanked me for my patience and again said they would be with me shortly. I explained that my return would only take a few minutes, but they continued assisting the other customer without helping me. Another 10 minutes passed, and instead of assisting me, Arien suggested that he could CALL ME when he finished with the larger purchase so I could come back later! I was genuinely shocked by this response and again explained that my return would take only a few minutes. It's important to note that the other customer wasn't even checking out yet--they were still browsing frames while both employees spent the entire time cleaning, adjusting, and preparing glasses. At one point, the customer himself even told the employee that it was okay to help me with my return first, but the employee still refused. After waiting approximately 25 minutes, and only once it was obvious I was becoming frustrated, the employee finally processed my return. The transaction took less than five minutes. When my return was complete, the other customer was still browsing and had not yet finished selecting frames. Prioritizing the potential value of one customer's purchase over providing timely and respectful service to another customer is unacceptable. Every customer deserves to be treated with the same level of professionalism, regardless of whether they are making a large purchase or a simple return. This experience was frustrating, dismissive, and far below the standard of customer service I would expect.

Instead of simply ringing up my purchase, the employee kept pushing the loyalty program, overpriced lens cleaner, extra cases, and other add-ons over and over. It felt like I couldn't just buy what I wanted without being sold something else every step of the way. The constant upselling became so frustrating that I walked away without buying anything. With so many places to buy sunglasses, I'll be taking my business elsewhere in the future. If this is the customer experience they're proud to deliver, I can't imagine how many sales they're losing without even realizing it

I had a truly terrible experience at Dr. Lucas' optometry office, and I would strongly advise…read moreanyone to avoid this place if you value your eyes, time, and money. From the beginning, the service was unprofessional in every aspect. Dr. Lucas prescribed glasses that were much too strong for my eyes. I immediately experienced dizziness, headaches, and eye strain, and I could not read properly. When I returned for a second exam, he gave me another prescription, but again it was too strong. Ten days later, when I got the new glasses, I still could not see comfortably--whether on my phone, laptop, or reading. On the third visit, instead of apologizing or correcting the mistake, Dr. Lucas became dismissive and rude. He even asked me what number I wanted for my prescription. I told him that if I could prescribe my own glasses, I wouldn't need to see him. Rather than listening to my concerns, he gave me long, unnecessary explanations about the prescription numbers, which only made things worse. All I wanted was the right lenses to be able to read comfortably. The front desk staff was equally rude and unhelpful. Michelle, in particular, acted as if my concerns were personal attacks. Making appointments and picking up glasses was a nightmare. In total, I had to go there six times for one pair of glasses. Eventually, I gave up and told Dr. Lucas the prescription I wanted myself--and that finally worked better than what he gave me. To put it in perspective: for my right eye, he first prescribed +2.50, but when I asked for +1.75 instead, I could see clearly. That says a lot about the accuracy of his exams. On top of that, because they changed my lenses three times using heat, my own frame (which I had to provide, since my insurance wouldn't cover another one) was damaged. The coating around the lens started peeling just days after I picked them up. One lens even had a fingerprint smudge permanently embedded. When I called about it, Dan at the front desk was rude and dismissive, telling me they couldn't do anything and that I should call my insurance instead. I originally chose this office because of the high reviews on Google and Yelp, but after my experience, I can't understand how those reviews are genuine. Either people don't realize the harm, or the reviews are not authentic. Bottom line: This office is unprofessional, careless, and disrespectful. They wasted my time, damaged my frame, and put my eye health at risk. Please save yourself the trouble and avoid Dr. Lucas' office.
