Don;t ever take your car Whistlers to have any work done on it.....what a f***king joke..This place…read moreis full of uneducated ignorant people.....all they do is lie to your face...i brought my car there to have a hitch put on....i was told to have it there by 10am and it would be done by 1 pm...i called at 1pm it wasn't ready got the excuse the installers car ended up in the ditch so was late to work ....315pm i called again...got another excuse....430 i call and said i want to talk to the manager he wouldn't come to the phone talk to so i told the woman i'm coming to get my car. When i got there she went to get the manager....got tired of waiting so i went back in the garage told the people working on my car to stop and take it off the lift....where is the manager.... he was hiding in an office..wasn;t going to come out and talk to...then came out yelling at me... for being in the garage....would not even listen to me....so a 3 hour job just turned out to be an all day job that didn't get done. I had to call the police to get my car back... What a f**king place this. I will tell everyone i know what assholes they are there. Please share this with everyone you know. A nice local guy gave us a jump and diagnosed it as a battery problem. Them Interstates don't last the 72 months like they used to... Anyway, he told us to go to Advance even though NAPA was closer. We went to NAPA contrary to his advice and the battery test failed but guess what... they can't replace it for you. It's a Sunday afternoon so you can't just go anywhere. And this uis the UP, so in a few hours from now everything will be closed. We went to Advance and sure enough, they can do it. They even have a cart packed with all the tools needed for the job. Our guy Steve took out the cart to the parking lot once we picked out the battery and got right to work. In less than 15 minutes we were back on the road with a brand new battery. They even gave us a rebate for returning the old one to recycle the core. So if you need a battery, come to Advance for good service and a on a new battery.

They said it was fully inspected before we took it, but that clearly is not true with these issues present. They said Bring it up there to get checked and they wouldn't cover the cost at all. As well, when we got it, it didn't have the air filter cover. The stabilizer link also broke a week in as well. If you ever decide to buy from this dealership, have another mechanic look it over first, because this shouldn't happen. We shouldn't have to get serious work done right away like this. Especially when we got the car this August 2021. And like I said, it clearly wasn't fully inspected if the gas issue was there to begin with. They never told us this before they sold the car. I think something like this should be addressed and fixed before sale on their dime. Never buying from this dealership again.

This time it was a muffler and when they gave me the quote it was for $250 but they charged me $360 because they had to "get a different muffler than the one they quoted me for", they did not bother to contact me to see if I wanted to go ahead with that price change or not. In my opinion a full hundred dollars is worth calling the customer over. The mechanic had a very poor attitude when explaining this up-charge. If a person does not get charged the quoted amount, then it should be discussed before the work is done. This is poor service. My parents had a previous experience with them where they went ahead and replaced a tail-light without calling them about it, charged them three times what it would have cost to just do it themselves (something they are very capable of and would have done it instead of paying the labor charges). So if all you are looking for is an oil change for cheap, then go ahead but if your vehicle needs more than an oil change only, then expect to get ripped off. Expect to have work done that was not previously agreed upon.

Since it was almost 5:30, we knew we had limited options. We called Discount Tire and were told to head over as quickly as we could. Luckily we were only about 15 min away and they looked over the tire soon after we drove up. About 20 min later, Samuel gave us the good news that they were able to successfully patch it up, make sure all the tires had proper pressure and it would all be a complimentary service. But we kinda know it happened today or last time I was there, but they did offer to buy a new stud and I bought a hard to find stud cap so got the new parts! They are not certified to do the repairs so I will have to take to Toyota or do it myself and repair it but if Toyota does it it will be just under $100 for the labor! It was expected at some point as it's common so I didn't push for more maybe I should have but whatever!

Wanted $1400 for new pads and rotors and still not replacing the caliper that had causing the problem. They purposely continue to fix the current issue, but could care a less about fixing the cause. A local shop fixed the pads, rotors AND calipers for less than quality car wanted to just replace the pads and rotors. This place is dishonest and overpriced. Call around and find an honest reasonably priced local garage...you'll be much happier!!
