Grandview Vineyard was a happy detour that turned into a new annual tradition. We visit Lancaster…read moreevery year and decided to switch gears and stop here and honestly, it was one of those why didn't we do this sooner? moments. Set on rolling Pennsylvania countryside, the views are straight out of a postcard. It's peaceful, scenic, and exactly the kind of place where time slows down (in the best way). The wine list is well thought out, approachable yet refined, with something for every palate. Nothing felt mass-produced or rushed and each pour had intention behind it. The staff deserves real credit: knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely proud of what they're pouring. They guide you without the wine snob energy, which makes the experience feel relaxed and inviting, whether you're a casual sipper or a full-on wine enthusiast. This stop elevated our Lancaster trip and added a fresh layer to a tradition we already love. Grandview Vineyard isn't just a winery, it's an experience worth building into your itinerary. We'll be back. No question. For photos, wine highlights, and more travel-food stops worth the drive, check out @travelingtastebuds_

It doesn't necessarily look like that as you drive up. The only downfall is that there is only one restroom. The pricing seemed decent. I was super pleased that they had a small selection of mocktails. Their strawberry lemonade spritz wasn't too sweet or too tart! It was just right. My friends seemed to enjoy all the wine choices! Additionally, the crab pretzel was amazing!! The charcuterie boards looked worth it. Plenty of seating and a live band was set up around 6/630, but we left just as they were coming in. Highly recommend and would come back (even as a sober lady!).

If I understand my history correctly, it may have burned down awhile back and was closed for some time. Now, recently reopened, it is worth a try. Four of us stopped in a little before 6 pm on a Thursday night for dinner. We waited a bit to be seated, long enough that we asked if we were to seat ourselves. The ambiance where we were seated was acceptable, but not special. The service was a little slow (but still good when it happened). The cocktail menu offered many great options. The Queen Anne's Revenge was delicious. All 4 of us agreed that the food was quite well prepared and delicious. We decided to pass on desserts, but I would expect those to be of similar quality. Overall, certainly worth trying, if you are in the area.

They told me they couldn't between 5 and 6 because they were slammed. Listening to this advice we went at 4. We were the only people in there and when we left at 5:30 there was only one table of people eating in the whole place. A little annoying to change our plans for faulty info. The menu looks interesting but it all just comes out okay. We got a bunch of small plates for the table to share. I enjoyed the Kobe hot dog and duck confit sliders. I would definitely not recommend the pork belly tacos.
