My husband and I went to Hidden Stills for a Sunday Happy Hour power hour! We weren't incredibly hungry, but wanted to dabble in some nice appetizers. The appetizers were well worth the price and were served pretty quickly! I had the Ahi Tuna Nachos and my husband had the Kung Pao Brussel Sprouts. Both were delicious and the right amount for a heavy appetizer for a Sunday afternoon! To top it off, we also had some drink specials that included the Frosted Strawberry and draft Blue Moon. We topped off the afternoon with the recommended pineapple upside down cake and didn't turn back. It was decadent and the prefect size for two. The staff was pleasant, but I felt should have been more attentive for a sparse bar. The restaurant was unique in design and trendy, and had a nice flow of customers for a Sunday afternoon. Ok to good food but great brewery. A+ service from the employees here both times I have been here. Location is clean, spacious, not loud & comfortable. My wife got the same Chicken Salad sandwich again, it's still a winner, seafood chowder was satisfactory to good according to her, she took the balance back to our hotel & she had it in the morning as she had a early morning meeting & we had a microwave, she changed her opinion to great , saying it tasted even better in the morning I guess from it being dehydrated. Pretzel was great, I had a chicken pot pie which I though was ok, it was basically a chicken stew served with a puff pastry in there instead of the stew in a puff pastry, It tasted clean & light lacking body so I ordered a side of lime rice which worked for me. The star of this place is really their custom brews, I thigh think the food here is 4to 4 1/2 star but their brews make it a 5 star restaurant. Their birch beer & bourbon ginger are perfectly balanced flavor & refreshing & I also bought a bottle of their express Old Fashion to take home, 10/10 satisfaction. Location and parking: If you're not from the area (me) or haven't been before can be a little hard to find parking lot for restaurant but there are plenty of spots. The restaurant itself is also a little hidden off main road but gps will get you to the right spot. June 2025 Hidden Still - Great Service, Tasty Drinks, a Few Small Quirks My wife and I usually go to The Mill when we're in town, but we weren't in the mood for a big meal, so we decided to try Hidden Still instead. Glad we did. The bartender was very nice and attentive. I ordered the Old Fashioned from the happy hour menu and asked to swap out the walnut bitters (not my thing) -- he gladly substituted regular bitters, and the drink was excellent. My wife just had iced tea. For food, she got the salad with chicken and said it was good. I went with the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and fries. The sandwich wasn't as spicy as I expected, but I asked for extra hot sauce and that definitely helped -- just be aware they charge $0.25 for extra sauce. Same thing with condiments: I requested ranch for my fries instead of ketchup, and they charged another $0.25. I get charging for extras, but if you're going to do that, it would be nice if the server asked what condiments you want instead of assuming everyone uses ketchup. Soooo , drinks were delicious. Food was good . A bit of a misunderstanding when my cousin and I said we would split a beet salad and chicken potstickers. . The waitress asked if we wanted it to come out together and we said yes because we are splitting it . I said take one of the salads off . Out comes two salads and potstickers. I said I asked you to take one off and she said I didn't hear you . The Kung pao fried sprouts were amazing! The pickled ginger was a game changer and seasoned perfectly. The short rib bolognese had noodles that made me think they were handmade, but the short rib was a little underseasoned. The bartenders were both extremely attentive and polite. What can I say? Everything I have ever gotten here has been fabulous! I'm talking appetizers to sandwiches to desserts! On a recent visit, we had the brussels sprouts. They were cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The hidden Still fries are unlike anything you've ever had. The fries are crispy, topped with Boursin. How can you go wrong? The Pretzel is enough to share and comes with mustard and beer cheese. I had the crab grilled cheese with a side salad. The white balsamic dressing is to die for. The grilled cheese was packed full of flavor and I enjoyed the coleslaw inside. It gave it an unexpected crunch. For dessert, we split the French toast donuts. What a clever take on French toast. I also experienced my first brunch here over the weekend. The omelette was cooked perfectly, just the right amount of goat cheese, tomatoes, spinach, and bacon inside, and I asked for crispy hashbrowns, and they were cooked to perfection. We also tried the crab scotch eggs. Again, it's unlike anything you have ever had. The restaurant was so accommodating as we forgot to make a reservation for a larger party. Birthday celebration, food was good for a party of 12; hower the week advanced reservation request was not followed. I had 2 handicap members and they put us up stairs. . No elevator access forupstairs. What a "$$#@# It was a struggle for them to get upstairs. And of course no apologies either.. The poor hostest that seated us was a deer in headlights.. Showed us were to seat and sprinted away. However, the saving grace was the waiter whom took care of us.. He was a joy. Two birthday groups merged into a fun evening and he handled ALL of us... We've visited Hidden Still a few times since my first review and I wanted to provide an update. Overall we have been very pleased with our experiences and enjoy HS as a place where we can find good service, food, and drink. This past Saturday we had a group of 6 for dinner. I wish I could remember our server's name because he was amazing!  The food was solid and we sampled a variety of items and everyone seemed pleased with their entrees (I tried the ribs, which were ok.)  The highlight of the food was the pierogi poutine.  This was amazing and I could have eaten a second order!  The cocktails were spot on with near perfect old fashions and sazeracs.  If you are in the Hershey area I would recommend giving Hidden Still a try! read more

We LOVE Hidden Still. The still fries with the cream Boursin is amazing. The fish tacos and green goddess salad are my go to. Lighter options but still amazingly tasty. My husband has tried burgers and other handhelds, all of which he's enjoyed. Our kids also love their food and of course the included ice cream. Happy hour is also a great time to visit if you enjoy an adult drink because it's such a great deal to get half off drinks! I suggest making a reservation. read more

Ray, our server, is a rockstar. He is so friendly and accommodating. We tried several dishes and all were decent. The calamari melted in your mouth. The bourbon BBQ sauce is delicious (I didn't like the Carolina sauce, (it was too heavy on yellow mustard flavor). The ribs fell off the bone and OMG they served enough for 2 big men. The drinks were fabulous. Bathrooms were immaculate and parking is abundant. They have a huge outside patio that's dog friendly. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and sat in the bar area which had multiple televisions, and warm white fairy lights, making it feel like a hometown pub. We had a great experience here for Sunday brunch! The staff were very attentive and our waitress was super nice and fun. I LOVED the cocktails they had - the tequila colada was sooo good. Everyone absolutely loved their meals as well. The Still fries were so good...they were covered in Boursin cheese, shaved Parmesan, bacon and scallion. The watermelon and peach salad was SO good. It had arugula, feta, cherry tomatoes, sunflower seeds, watermelon, peach and a blood orange vinaigrette. It was so refreshing and delicious. We will absolutely be returning here very soon! This place is great. It's a hidden gem of a distillery. Came here to check out some of the bourbon and was not disappointed. Between the great pours and food, everything was a solid win overall. Our waitress apparently did some time living in Williamsburg and was very amiable to work with. She explained all the bourbons, gave great recommendations, and was timely with all the service needs. Their bourbons were awesome. I would put some of them against the 'fans like' bourbons like Blanton's and others. If you're in the area this place is definitely worth checking out. I went here because of the 4.5-star rating, and while the service was great, the food didn't really live up to that. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the presentation of the dishes were beautiful. That said, the flavor just wasn't there. It wasn't bad, just not memorable and I wouldn't jump to go back. Came here at the beginning of September before a concert hoping for a meal and a drink. I will say the pretzel was incredible and my drink was very good and refreshing. I also loved the interior and the ambiance of this distillery, it's probably amazing to be outside hanging out with a drink. Unfortunately we had to cancel our dinner order because we had been waiting for an hour and a half and were going to be late to the concert :( so didn't get the chance to try the food other than the big pretzel. Obviously this sort of thing happens but we were bummed since we were only spending the night in town for the concert. Hopefully this doesn't happen to others, as I'm sure the food is probably great! read more

Excellent food and drinks at an elevated price. Found this place just looking for restaurants that sounded good after leaving the Hershey RV show. Given I'm not from the area and rely on GPS, I found getting there to be a bit challenging as I didn't know which side streets to take to avoid U-turns. However, there is plenty of parking in the main and extended lots, so we parked and went right in. Though I put us on the waiting list before we left the show, there was nobody in front of us when we arrived, so we're seated quickly and almost immediately received waters and gave our drink order. Our waitress was great -- very cheerful and conversational -- though we both remarked that it seemed she might be by far the most engaging as our seat put us where we could see most of the indoor part of the restaurant, so ymmv. The appetizer, meals, desserts, and drinks were all excellent, though a bit on the pricy side (~$150 for two people). I would certainly go there again as the total value is among the best I've found in the region. A note about the ambiance: there were a mix of folks there ranging from business casual to poolside casual, but I can definitely see folks dressing up to go there. The somewhat industrial decor and unusual light fixtures makes the place feel a bit more upscale than the attire of the patrons indicates. They also have an upstairs area that might (check with them) be good for some types of events. read more

Visited this place Friday. It's a lot bigger than it looks. The service was great, fast, didn't leave you waiting long. The ambiance was casual, the bar area was nice and there was seating upstairs on a level overlooking the bar and dining area. The food was very good, I had the filet medallions over rice with broccolini and my husband had the baby back ribs, mashed potatoes, and slaw. Went solo on Valentines Day shortly after 8:30PM because I wanted to try this restaurant as I had heard good things about it. I had reviewed the menu online prior to arrival, so I had an idea of what I wanted to order. After being asked if I wanted to sit at the bar for my meal and politely refusing, I was taken all the way to the back portion of the restaurant and subsequently informed that the bartender would be doing double duty and also be my server. He introduced himself and was cordial and personable. It did not appear very busy in this section but there were definitely couples and families patronizing the restaurant in both sections of the restaurant. I decided on a cocktail to start the evening and ordered; after only a minute had passed, the bartender/server had to come back and ask again what it was that I had ordered. When I asked for recommendations, he was genuine enough with his suggestions. I also inquired about the size of the portions as I was contemplating a featured salad but did not want to eat too heavy prior to my entree. I settled on a side Caesar salad and asked for the dressing on the side. The salad arrived with the dressing already applied (rather heavily in my opinion) along with tomatoes which don't belong in a Caesar salad. I asked for it to be replaced. For some reason, I was provided what apparently was a Caesar salad made by "Popeye" because it was made with Spinach not Romaine, which I sent back and told them to forget the salad. I ordered the Chicken Milanese which was to come with Lemon Arugula, Lemon Herb Asparagus and Yukon Gold Smashed Potatoes. It is important to note that the menu did not state that the chicken was breaded but pan seared; this may be my naivete, but I was surprised when it came breaded and apparently fried. Regardless it was nearly invisible under the pile of arugula on the plate. The potatoes were tasty but nothing to write home about and the asparagus looked as though it had been boiled to death it was so wilted and offensive in its color, you could wind it around your fork like fettucine. See photos for reference. Asparagus I saw at the table across from mine was served properly cooked -- al dente. I had pre-ordered a glass of Chardonnay to be served with my entree, but I had to ask for that as well. A gentleman who turned out to be one of the managers caught my eye and asked if everything was fine. I quite frankly told him that I was much less than satisfied and explained the foibles of my meal at that point and he subsequently brought my wine to the table. I was able to reduce the shrub that was the arugula on top of the entree so it was edible but could not eat the asparagus at all. It was placed in the potatoes and under the mound of arugula covered chicken which may have added to its demise. Unsure why the vegetable was treated that way instead on the side of the plate, but who knows the condition it was in when it left the kitchen. For some reason, and it may have been their smoked drinks that they made there or the heating duct work but there was a noticeable burning smell throughout the restaurant as well. After finishing my "meal" the bartender/server approached to take my plate and asked if I wanted anything else. I asked if I could get a dessert to go and he made recommendations. However, I ultimately decided against dessert. He brought my bill to the table and explained that items had been removed and discounted due to the mishaps with my meal. I thanked him for the clarification and paid cash making sure to tip him well as I knew the kitchen issues were not necessarily his fault. As I was leaving, I saw the manager I had spoken with earlier. I thanked him again for his assistance and left. I won't be returning. read more
