    Nice side salad

06.27.26 Hidden Still Spirits My wife and I were in town with some friends for the Dutchman Bowling Tournament. We've eaten here a few times before and have always had great meals, so we wanted to bring our friends to experience this hidden gem. I made a 5:00 p.m. reservation, and we arrived right on time. We were seated a few minutes early, which was a nice start to the evening. Our server greeted us promptly with water and then returned to take our drink order. My wife ordered the Dragon Fruit cocktail, I had the Rye Old Fashioned, and our friends enjoyed the Watermelon Refresher and the Black Walnut Old Fashioned. For dinner, our friends ordered the salmon and the burger with fries. My wife and I shared the Green Goddess Salad and the Korean BBQ Short Ribs. When our meals arrived, everything looked absolutely amazing. We all dug in, and every dish lived up to the presentation. Our friends said the salmon was fabulous, and the burger was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The Green Goddess Salad was fresh and delicious, but the star of the evening was definitely the Korean BBQ Short Ribs. They were incredibly tender, packed with flavor, and simply OMG good! Even though we were all full, we couldn't pass up dessert. We shared the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, and it was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the drinks and food to the friendly service and atmosphere, Hidden Still Spirits continues to impress us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We're glad we brought our friends here, and they were just as impressed as we have been on our previous visits. We'll definitely be back again!

My husband and I went to Hidden Stills for a Sunday Happy Hour power hour! We weren't incredibly hungry, but wanted to dabble in some nice appetizers. The appetizers were well worth the price and were served pretty quickly! I had the Ahi Tuna Nachos and my husband had the Kung Pao Brussel Sprouts. Both were delicious and the right amount for a heavy appetizer for a Sunday afternoon! To top it off, we also had some drink specials that included the Frosted Strawberry and draft Blue Moon. We topped off the afternoon with the recommended pineapple upside down cake and didn't turn back. It was decadent and the prefect size for two. The staff was pleasant, but I felt should have been more attentive for a sparse bar. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was unique in design and trendy, and had a nice flow of customers for a Sunday afternoon.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All in all, would do again for the happy hour specials! Quality of food: 5/5 Service: 3.5/5 Overall cost and experience: 4.5/5

    Chicken. Salad sandwich

Ok to good food but great brewery. A+ service from the employees here both times I have been here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Location is clean, spacious, not loud & comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My wife got the same Chicken Salad sandwich again, it's still a winner, seafood chowder was satisfactory to good according to her, she took the balance back to our hotel & she had it in the morning as she had a early morning meeting & we had a microwave, she changed her opinion to great , saying it tasted even better in the morning I guess from it being dehydrated. Pretzel was great, I had a chicken pot pie which I though was ok, it was basically a chicken stew served with a puff pastry in there instead of the stew in a puff pastry, It tasted clean & light lacking body so I ordered a side of lime rice which worked for me. The star of this place is really their custom brews, I thigh think the food here is 4to 4 1/2 star but their brews make it a 5 star restaurant. Their birch beer & bourbon ginger are perfectly balanced flavor & refreshing & I also bought a bottle of their express Old Fashion to take home, 10/10 satisfaction. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even in you are not a alcohol consumer, the Location, atmosphere & quality of service coupled with good , clean food makes this a great restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A definite must visit in Hershey.

This might be my favorite new place. The food service and atmosphere are all here in this gem. We hit up happy hour. The drinks are amazing. The appetizers were filling. The make and distill their own alcohol. Top Class drinks [[HIGHLIGHT]]Awesome seating inside or outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Location and parking: If you're not from the area (me) or haven't been before can be a little hard to find parking lot for restaurant but there are plenty of spots. The restaurant itself is also a little hidden off main road but gps will get you to the right spot. Service: Friendly, efficient and helpful Food and drink: I had a great passionfruit margarita, not too sweet and real passionfruit juice used! I also got the southwest salad. The dressing was very good and everything in salad seemed fresh. However, I will say a pretty dinky salad for $14. The avocado on it was about 1/8 of one whole avocado. Overall a good experience, I'd come back

Smoked blackberry margarita! I loved this drink

Every visit to Hidden Still has been wonderful! Service is stellar, the food is fabulous, and the drinks are divine! Even the bread tray was top-notch. I thought enjoyed the smoked blackberry margarita. The smoke permeated the ice cubes and made everything smell & taste wonderful! I had a cheeseburger one visit and it was excellent quality meat, seasoned really nicely, and cooked to my ideal temp of medium-rare. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a great place for gathering with friends or a romantic night out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love that it's versatile and has different bar & seating areas[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]],

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool industrial feel inside the restaurant with great service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food came out quickly and was cooked perfectly. Drinks were good. Shrimp were tasty. Took the server's recommendation and got the bison sloppy Joe and it definitely didn't disappoint. Definitely will go back if I'm in the area.

Great date night experience. The Korean chicken wings were amazing! Great atmosphere. Would go again.

The Kung pao fried sprouts were amazing! The pickled ginger was a game changer and seasoned perfectly. The short rib bolognese had noodles that made me think they were handmade, but the short rib was a little underseasoned. The bartenders were both extremely attentive and polite. There was a loft where there was space for large parties and places to sit outside.

Is the restaurant still open? I heard it was just retail ☹️

The menu immediately caught my eye with its local flair, and it did not disappoint. They happened to be hosting trivia night, which was such a fun surprise and gave the place great energy. I ordered the chef's special crabcake sandwich, and it was outstanding--perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. Easily the highlight of my night and exactly what I needed after a long day. Kelsey and Kristen were absolute standouts--warm, engaging, and incredibly welcoming. Even as someone from out of town, I was treated like a regular, which made the experience even better. There are two of these in the area, we weren't quite sure which one to hit, so we opted for the one closer to our hotel in Hershey. We arrived just as they were opening at 11:00 am for lunch. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the bartender and the server. They were the only two working up front, but it was fine; our entire time there, only one other table came in (this was on a Friday). The inside was nice, and we were seated by a fire. The only gripe I have is that the chairs seemed to be the wrong size/height for the tables. But other than that, the place looked good. My wife ordered a beer flight with an assortment of sours and a wheat. I went for the Annville IPA Bold Cask. It was a really, really good beer. Smooth, fully-bodied, and with a good amount of hops. Plus, it's 9.8%, so if you ask me, that's a great way to start off a lunch! The beer flight was decent, but more my wife's thing. Now onto the food. There were a lot of great choices, and we were starving, so of course, everything looked good. We always order for our six-year-old first so they can eat while we relax. We ordered him the hot dog and tots. For our apps, we ordered the Tator Tot Nachos: house cheese sauce, fresh pico, scallions, jalapenos, cilantro lime sour cream, and chicken. And also the smoked wings with hot sauce. I'm always a fan of tator tots, maybe it's because I never had them as a kid, or they really are that good. But these were perfect on a cold day in central PA when you're hungry. The right amount of salt on the tots, crispy exterior and creamy inside, plus the toppings (I love fresh jalapeño). The wings were okay, but this was to be expected. They're smoked, and as much as I love smoked food, you never get the skin crispy (especially on wings). They had a slight smoke flavor and a good sauce, but I'm a "well done" wing guy, so these I would pass on next time. By the time we were going to order lunch, my wife realized she was already full, and we still had a decent amount of food left. So she just picked at the appetizers. I was getting there myself, but I wanted to try a burger. I ordered the Pub Burger: 8 oz, Cooper Sharp, red pepper-bacon jam, dill pickle aioli, lettuce, brioche, and fries (because who can resist more fried potatoes). It came out perfectly medium rare as I ordered and seasoned well. I was apprehensive about the red pepper-bacon jam; I'm not a fan of sweet, but in this case, it worked. It was a great burger (although I only ate a quarter of it). The service was good, and she was very personable and polite. But one thing that was strange. She was on the phone almost the entire time we were there with whom she said was the owner (or maybe a manager). We heard her discussing the reservations and large parties coming in. This was a long call, and while I know there wasn't a lot going on in the restaurant, we felt at times we needed something, and she was busy talking. I'm not blaming her; if it were the owner or manager, they should certainly know better and keep it short. But when she was there, she was great. All in all, a great recommendation from a friend that we are happy we stopped to try. We will be back again, maybe sooner than our annual trip to Hershey!

The atmosphere was fun, utilizing retired ride vehicles as booths and playing into the park setting. As expected in Hershey, the menu explored how chocolate can be integrated into a very American menu. I enjoyed the pulled pork grilled cheese: the chocolate barbecue sauce reminded me of a lighter molasses-based sauce so it worked with the barbecue. We had the Ferris Wheel appetizer which was mostly a win, but the items could have shown up on a TGI Friday's menu. The next day, to escape the millions of middle schoolers in the park (I have a whole travelogue brewing for that) we came back because I wanted one of their gigantic milkshakes. The Reese's peanut butter shake was peanut butter to the Nth degree, and it was topped by an entire slice of peanut butter pie. My friend got a stomachache but I love anything peanut butter so this was a win for me. Both times the service was really good. Named after the year the historic hotel opened its doors, the space boasts a stunning ambiance--complete with a beautiful stained-glass ceiling and gorgeous views--but the real star of the show is the menu. We kicked off the night with two incredible starters. The meatloaf sliders, made with rich Bow Creek Angus beef and topped with a perfectly balanced BBQ glaze and cheddar, were pure comfort food elevated to gourmet status. Right alongside them, the beef carpaccio (also using local Bow Creek beef) was an absolute standout. It was beautifully delicate, brightened up with a shallot-caper dressing, pickled onions, and a finishing touch of grana padano and smoked sea salt. For the main course, 1933 proves it can compete with any high-end chophouse. The steaks are expertly prepared, boasting a flawless sear on the outside while remaining incredibly tender and juicy on the inside. You can taste the premium quality of the cuts with every single bite. Of course, you can't visit a resort in the Sweetest Place on Earth without indulging in a bit of chocolate. To drink, the chocolate martini is a masterclass in mixology--decadent, velvety, and smooth without being cloyingly sweet. We doubled down on dessert with the chocolate cream pie, featuring a rich, silken filling and an effortlessly flaky crust that made for the perfect final note to an exceptional meal.Between the historic nods, the phenomenal steakhouse execution, and top-tier service, 1933 has quickly cemented itself as a must-visit dining destination in Hershey.
