It is abundantly clear the owner loves his business and will talk to you about basically anything, give tips, helpful recipes, and so much more. I'm a food blogger and so I love talking about recipes with him, but he is great with food styling too, and makes sure if I'm using whatever meat for a blog recipe that it's absolutely perfect. All I have to do is ask, and it's done. They run weekly specials, and it's always a great way to stock the freezer. The specials rotate too, so it is different each week. We also really love the ribeye steaks, which are perfect for a stay home date night meal. They also make food there like sandwiches and other things. Which I often forget, but the owner can absolutely cook. His baked beans are a favorite of mine, and I generally hate beans, which says something to me. Would I return? Absolutely. This is easily one of my favorite small local businesses to get behind and support. The customer service and product are always on point. There are about ten sandwich options plus a "create your own," several salads, and a couple of soup choices. The atmosphere is very laid-back. We saw a steady stream of people coming and going, and the four or five indoor tables were occupied most of the time we were there. As a group, we ordered a variety of sandwiches, a salad, and a bowl of soup--and everything exceeded our expectations. The soup was incredibly thick, almost like a casserole.
