I need to counter one star Karen in the other review: I've been really surprised at how hard staff here work to make all the magic happen during COVID crazy. This is my local store & while it lacks the ultra max options of the ritzier Southside store Catering to upscale hippies (maybe you got less vegan cheese here for instance, or more limited bulk). In general staff is really helpful, & the store is well stocked. During Covid I have been really blown away by the level of assistance the staff is willing to go above and beyond to provide for customers. These people are standing at checkout counters all day in full protective gear and are still pleasant have a sense of humor & are incredibly patient. I have use the pick up service on several occasions and it has gone really pretty well they don't always have everything but that's how it goes right now. I have needed to have people come out to the car and meet me to load things, to take my coupons they have to go back in side to process them and come back out with the receipt -which they have done every time. This takes them at least an extra 10 minutes and they never give me shade. . Also I had a minor complaint about some items that they didn't carry enough of, made a comment in the app and actually received a personal reply. Not only that but I noticed a change in supply which means somebody actually heard me and did something. So I'm here to say thanks Fred Meyer staff, I appreciate you. read more

Pharmacy. I went in for my flu shot appointment and waited for 15 minutes with acknowledgment from the reception staff so I walked out. There was no one waiting but they had 4 staffs working, I'll never go back there. read more

Hank is absolutely awesome! He's always so kind, upbeat and genuinely friendly every time I come through for gas. This Fred Meyer store layout is so wonky and I don't want to walk every aisle just to find one thing. Also, I bought a premade turkey sandwich. It was $7.58. It literally just had turkey and cheese with wilted soggy lettuce. What a joke. read more

Service. Ask the lady in the bakery to slice a loaf of artisan bread her response was no and the self serve slicer is broken. Yeah that's why I was asking. The rest of the staff is super friendly and helpful. Was surprised by the rudeness of this individual. read more

Had a great experience at the self checkout with Megan, there was only one check stand open and I had a bout 25 items so I went to self checkout hoping I could be quick she was super nice about me going there with so many items. She was so helpful in helping me figure out the Fred meyer app and reward system and helped me get the coupons and discounts that were promised through the app. She was running around all 20 self checkout stands by herself all while doing a great job and keeping a smile on her face!! This is the only store I can shop at for my parents. I am growing very tired of having to have an eagle eye on sale prices. I shop here twice a week and every single time there is at least one items with a sale tag on the shelf (not "buy 5 and save" or digital coupons) that is not in the system. It is beyond annoying being told it must be a digital coupon or that I must be incorrect. So, I have had to resort to taking photos for the cashiers. This takes more time than I want to spend, it's stressful, and the shoppers behind me in line grow impatient. I feel like should be paid or at least receive a discount for having to use self-check out more than half the time AND stay on top of prices. read more

At near noon, with register lines backed up into the lanes; they have 2 registers open... For a store that requires a card to get prices only a little higher than everywhere else, you'd think they'd at least want to make sure customers dont have to wait 20 minutes to check out. read more

I haven't had the same experience as the person who said the gas gave her problems. I've been getting gas here for years, including the last two, when we bought a new car, and it runs perfectly on fred meyer gas. You have to pick carefully when to go there, however, as the lines can be long, but not as long as Costco ! Unless someone else agrees with "...blonde", about how bad the gas is, I'm continuing to buy it there. Anyone care to comment? read more

I like to use my reward points and who wouldn't. However the last time I went I explained to the lady I need premium plus because I have a European car I think by habit she put regular. I had to go to kiosk to pick up some waters when I got back down to my car she was all done filling my car up. I had left my window down so she said she threw it by's front seat. Not thinking of anything I thanked her and drove off. After that day my car just didn't want to drive it was like the fuel injection was clogged. I never had this problem before. I finally somehow ran the bad gas which is a defeat itself because I work remotely and my kids don't go to school far way, it's just now starting to get back to its normal state. If I go back I'll just pay at the pump and make sure this doesn't happen again. Besides all that if you use your points you can save up to .30 cents a gallon. And in this new life we are living this is always a win. read more

Just finished our delicious sushi lunch, which we brought home from the store! Wow! So fresh and tasty! While there, we also picked up a few organic fruit and veggie items. They have a nice selection of organics. We hope to one day (post Covid) be able to sample their beers again at the beer and wine bar in that department. It's a nice place to meet neighbors while shopping for wine and beer, and has been closed during the pandemic. read more

I wish I could give them no stars, not for service but for bad gas. It's cheap for a reason. I wish people would realize what they put in their cars. I normally don't go here but I was on empty when I had my Acura TL so I put $20 of premium gas in as I usually did. My car started to act up and died and had the service engine light come on so I took it to the Acura dealership where they determined it was the bad gas. I took it home and put racing gas in to flush it and ran chevrons premium and it ran fine as usual. I talked to others who had similar problems. I put chevrons premium in my cars now to prevent future maintenance issues it's really not that much more $ to drive down the road at the cross rd chevron off Irvington & 99. They are pretty cheap. I have another Acura now and will still avoid the cheap gas here, a friend of mine was wondering why her car was running bad, I asked where she got gas and if she put premium in it... Sure enough!! It was from here!! How ever it does not matter on the diesel as long as your not running on the bio diesel. They are one of the cheapest, and as long as your willing to put up with their long lines and wait time!! read more

I did NOT give permission for them to leave the groceries if I did not answer. I scheduled for before 5 pm delivery. They postponed the delivery time on their website WITHOUT CONTACTING ME. When I accessed on line to see where the order was, I found they had TWICE RESCHEDULED THE TIME WITH OUT NOTIFYING ME. Also, about 1 1/2 hrs earlier their site showed that my order had NOT been worked on yet, but they had another message saying it was out for delivery. About 1/2 hours later, their web site said that I could no longer cancel/modify the order! AT NO TIME DID THEY EMAIL OR CONTACT ME. These liars did the same thing with my last order and delivered it AFTER 10 pm marking it delivered at 9:20 pm. I checked my porch at 10 and it had NOT arrived. I went to bed. They NEVER EVEN RANG THE DOORBELL OR KNOCKED BY 11 PM. THE NEXT MORNING, THE DEFROSTED, SLIMY ORDER WAS ON MY FRONT DOOR STEP! Their delivery service is as rotten as their vegetables by the next day. They did the same thing to me 5 times in 2020 and refunded me each time, but who wants to deal with LIARS? Oh by the way, I saw on line that there is a recall on all Kroger products they produce. I was in there buying food when I realized a giant wasp was on my backpack, I wasn't sure what to do. So I asked if there was a cup around to grab it and Blake came to the rescue moving the wasp. Luke, the fuel attendant who filled up my car, was unbelievable! So friendly and helpful, offered to wash my windows even though I had already got out to do so and did a great job, cheerful and friendly throughout. So happy that I took the time to call the manager when I got home. Give this man a bonus please. read more

Seems weird to write a review for a gas station, but I finally had to. The folks at Fred Meyer gas are consistently friendly, helpful, and personable. When you pull in and know that it's going to cost and arm and a leg depending on gas prices on any given day, the attendants there make it all a little more palatable. The other nice thing, also, is that the prices at FM gas are always reasonable. The next best prices are usually at Costco. I'm a fan. read more
