Louis came over as scheduled and was able to immediately diagnose the problems including bad sensors, cable out of track and the spring being worn out. This garage door has been used since 2003 so over 20+ years of useful life. He mentioned that the track and remaining structure including the door and metal holdings were all in decent shape. Louis quoted me a fair price for replacing with new sensors, new cables and new spring. After fixing all of these issues, it worked good as new, with the caveat that eventually the motor is old (23 yrs old really), so will replace that next year. The total cost is a fraction of what a new garage door replacement would be and once we get a new motor, all of the key parts that drive the garage door should be ready for another 20+ years of life. However, I did not answer the other calls since I had already researched E1 prior and did not feel comfortable answering the call from unknown Yelp services that I did not know or read about. Fast forward to E1 Mr. Espinoza was in the area and was able to come in the same day. He was fantastic! Primarily because I was looking for someone to help my dad who can speak English but feels more comfortable speaking Spanish. Mr. Espinoza is fluent in both languages and he thoroughly explained to my dad what needed to be done regarding broken garage spring. Mr. Espinoza completed job in less than 35 minutes.
