Let me tell you that some companies quotes were near the 12000 range! When visiting these companies they didn't even have stock.. which of course means they are most likely purchasing cheaper and reselling to you.. Not Jimmy, Jimmy was amazing since I stopped in his office. Immediately he was so welcoming and has a HUGE warehouse full of front doors ( not just doors he is ordering from somewhere else) His price also beat these prices but literally almost HALF.. It was a week before labor day weekend and I really wanted the doors installed before the weekend holiday and he was able to get them installed for me! Another note, after getting the doors installed my kids somehow locked my dogs outside for some time and they scratched our front door pretty bad ... Jimmy came by and fixed the scratches for me within a few days.. Thank you so much Jimmy and Discount doors! I cant recommend you enough!

Our installer, Danny Alonzo, was fantastic from start to finish. He has excellent communication skills and gave us a clear, realistic expectation of the time to completion. He was incredibly friendly, polite, and professional the entire time -- I honestly wish every contractor or vendor we use could be as good as Danny! We picked a custom color and the door came out exactly the shade we chose. It's solid, heavy, and makes a huge difference compared to our old door. We had bought and pre-painted our own interior moulding, and Danny installed it perfectly with no issues at all. I'm terrible at making clean silicone joints around moulding, but he did an amazing, professional job on them. He even went above and beyond when he noticed some stucco damage around the front door. He pointed it out to us and patched it beautifully -- way better than I could have done myself, lol! The finished door looks absolutely beautiful. My wife and I weren't 100% sure what to expect, but the quality and the final result made the entire expense completely worth it. The door feels rock-solid and looks incredible. 20ish years ago, Hometime replaced all the warped windows in our 1952 ranch style home. Some were…read moremodern standard sizes, but most were custom sizes. These windows are still perfect in every way. These woods come with value and reliability. When we added on to our home about 10 years ago, the contractor used their window company. We ordered some custom sized windows to keep consistency with the rest of our home...and those have never been right. A couple years ago the large, back window split in the frame. We had no question that Hometime would replace the window...and it's both well constructed & beautiful, with two perfectly working locks. The install was done by Eduardo and his crew. It was an early morning appointment, but Eduardo showed up in time. Both he and the other installer were friendly, efficient, and clean. They took less than 2 hours, door knock to exit, and left not a scrap or bit of dust in their perfect install. When we consider cost, style, AND locally, independently owned companies, we will have Hometime do all our windows, always. In the future we will also request Eduardo as our installer. Thanks!

But his service was way beyond just installing these screen doors for me. After couple months, we DIY and added tiles to the patio to make it easier to clean but it was very difficult for amateurs like us to align it to the railings of the screen door and the gap/transition doesn't look good at all. So I texted Pablo to see if there's any way to make the transition less awkward. I didn't have a high expectation because he already done his job and I should probably finished tiling before installing these doors. But he was willing to come out and take a look at what he can do and he did an amazing job! He replaced the railing for me and realigned everything to make it look nice. Now, after working with him, I can confidently say that Lucero's Windows and Doors is the real deal. Because our home required a custom-sized door, James came out twice to take measurements. After about two weeks, the custom entry door arrived, and he completed the installation in a single day. He told me our home was one of the oldest he's worked on, and the walls were very different from newer builds. Despite the challenges, he made everything fit perfectly, and the final result looks fantastic. We no longer feel a draft under the door, and it swings smoothly without any issues.

Assaf will come and measure each window and make recommendations. He has found many errors in the plan and had them corrected by calling the architect and verifying. Pre track install I installed and shimmed level hard wood boards so that when the installer came back out to install the new metal tracks there would be no issue with leveling or a need for them to shim as they use shims between the metal track and mdf board which does not leave the best looking end result. I appreciate CIP's attempt to make it right however my overall experience is still a 3 star (Ok) and not a five star (Great) experience.

I was in the Home Depot north store up on 19th St and was purchasing a bunch of pvc plumbing supplies to repair a crack in my pvc pipe...a gentleman with this shirt on politely asked me what I was trying to accomplish...when I told him he showed me what would work the best for my situation...I bought what he told me and he added a tip that if the compression rubber was tight I could use some dishwashing soap to make it more pliable...omg...when I thought I was going to go crazy I applied the soap and everything fit and screwed on perfectly...he also directed me to the other isle for the correct risers I needed. My crack is fixed and the bill for all the stuff I bought was $50...I returned everything I had purchased he said I wouldn't need and got a $40 credit....seriously, I don't think I'm elderly but social security considers me so....the savings and advice were priceless! If I ever need a handyman service which at my age and experience even you tube won't be able to help me, I will for sure be calling you for any handyman services I need....thank you so very much for your advice and kindness. I was able to uninstall the shower head, install the filter and reinstall the shower head in one bathroom, but I didn't have the tools or elbow grease to do the same in the second bathroom. Within minutes of submitting the request, I received a message from Nick with his cell phone number, asking me to send him photos of the work. I texted him and he responded quickly confirming he could do the work with an estimate and potential time to schedule the job. He required a small deposit via Zelle. I was a little skeptical about the deposit, but he affirmed his business means more to him than the deposit and his word is worth more as well. He was able to get me on the schedule the following day and confirmed a time later that evening. That day, he texted me telling me when he was on his way and with an estimated time of arrival. When he arrived, he got straight to work. He confirmed the shower head was REALLY on there! He was able to remove it, as well as the stupid flow restrictor I'd asked the previous plumber to not install--but he did anyway--threaded the connections, and installed the shower filter and shower head quickly. He also gave me an opportunity to douse the shower head in Lime Away before reinstalling! We tested the connection and he made one minor adjustment and then was done! He charged me his minimum rate and it was worth it. Very nice gentleman, very professional and honest! I appreciate he takes Zelle and Venmo. But for safe practices & clean up I would give 2 stars... (maybe still being generous). Yes, they let me know that I would need to move any furniture out of the way &/they would cover the beds with a blanket BUT by the time I decided what to do, the worker was already chipping away at the broken glass windows. How am I supposed to move a king size bed within a minute? And though I did move my child's bed, it still got glass on it. Now, both my bed and my 5Y child's bed still have shards of glass including our floors, window sills & who knows where else in addition to debris. It's not tons, but some pieces big enough to be concerning & cut our foot on &/scrape our face. I also intentionally folded up the blanket they used to "prevent" such a mess myself to ensure the shards would stay encased inside, only to witness it being shaken out on our sidewalk-front yard where our dog, kid & neighborhood dogs play and pass often. Would strongly advise: 1. Let your customers know further in advance what prep is required especially if you don't intend to do a thorough clean up job afterwards 2. Implement safer practices eg lay tarp inside and out around the areas glass will be broken BEFORE starting the work
