Do not use this company. I cannot tell you enough how awful they are. I was moving my car from California to New York. We had agreed on a price and I had signed a contract. A day before my car was supposed to be shipped the company emailed me with no advance warning saying it was going to be $500 more. With one day left I didn't have time to find a new company. The car was supposed to come in a week. Three days after my car was taken I got a call from the driver saying he was going to be there tomorrow. I was still in California and wasn't flying out for another two days. The driver got angry with me even though I was told the car wasn't supposed to arrive for an additional 4 days. Then when I got my car it was noticeable that my belongings had been rummaged through. Absolutely terrible. read more

I live abroad and sold my vehicle. I was planning a visit then decided to stay, so needless to say I needed to sell some things including my car. After selling the vehicle I contacted Eagle Auto Carriers to ship the car to my buyer. I read the previous review but also saw some other reviews online which were really good. Their price was very competitive and since I was paying for the shipping costs, I decided to work with Eagle. Max took my order over the phone, he didn't ask me for any payment when booking, which from what I understand is a new policy, so that worked out better for me because I didn't have to pay anything up front. Max did call me when they had already assigned a driver to pick up my car and after paying my reservation fee I got an email like 5 minutes later with the drivers information which was cool so I could contact the driver directly. I understand you can't please everyone. I also understand shipping a car isn't like sending a package via FedEx. I'm sure there's plenty more than I care to know about when shipping a car, traffic, weather just being 2 things no one really has control over. Max told me that this isn't an exact science, and I got that too. He did explain to me everything that I believe I needed to know and all my inquiries were answered in a timely manner via phone, text, or email, I didn't have any issues with that whatsoever. Also, they lied to me just to try to scam $50 from me but they didn't because I fought for the $50 they charged my credit card for nothing. Which brings me to the next point. They say "NO DEPOSIT"! I made my reservation and paid a deposit fee on 6/27/2017 for my daughter's car to be delivered to New Orleans on 8/5/17. I had quit a few others call but they got me at the competitive price. It was friday a week before car pick up. I called company to find out when will they be picking up the car so that we may prepared. Dave said let me go across the street and asked the operators what day and i will call you back in 30 minutes. I never heard back from him so i called and no answer. I called all weekend abd the reason i called on weekend because when i booked and gave fee it was on weekebd and they answered each and every time. (I am sure they have caller id) I decided to email the company the week off and Dave said we are working on the order. I am like companies are saying that it hasn't been assigned and it is still on board because the quote is too low and the truckers picked the tickets that pay the most. I called again spoke to Max he said we are working on it. Max called me on Tuesday and said we have someone to transport your car right now but the driver wants more money and i will reimburse you $27 in a few days. The driver never showed up, nor was anyone picking up the phone. Its 3 days promise delivery, so i just started looking for other transport companies that can help. The driver called me the next day, we talked but i told him how furious i was . He said he apologies he was told he could do it the next day. So me and driver got everything settled i just wanted to make sure that the agreement of how much pay upon delivery was the same and it was. The driver was very nice and stated he will get my daughter's car there pn friday afternoon but he bought it earlier that morning but my daughter hadn't arrived so he end up bringing it saturday morning due to he ran put of hours to redeliver it the afternoon as promised. Car in perfect condition i just wish theu would've been more honest and just quote the going rate dont low ball a person to lock them in the deal. Bottom line i end up spending the same amount that the competitor would charge but the only thing is the competitor doesn't ask for a small fee. read more

I've been working with Rose on having my car being shipped and was told the driver would contact me 2-3 days ahead for confirmation. However, I kept calling the company since I did not hear from the driver or the company and eventually was told via email they were not able to find a driver that could transport my vehicle. There was a complete lack of professionalism as I did not even get a courtesy phone call of the status or anything. Save your time and aggravation and go elsewhere. Very poor service. read more

Purchased a Lexus from a dealership in Chicago and needed to have it shipped down to California. I did some research online and I put my request in to get some competitive bids, whoa! That was kind of a pain in the butt, I got like 20 calls from different brokers, it was kind of crazy the first couple of days after putting in my request. After things settled down from the insanity of getting like 50 calls a day I was finally able to look though some emails and compare quotes. My research on the net lead me to the understanding that price isn't simply the only factor when deciding to ship a vehicle. There are low ballers out there who want to hook you in with a deposit and may end up not shipping your vehicle. After speaking to the Dave at Eagle, he told me that they do not take a deposit and when I booked, they didn't even ask me for a credit card! I only had to provide my pick up and delivery address, which was MUCH MUCH different than everyone else's policy. Everyone at the least wanted a deposit up front or my credit card information, which I really didn't want to give out until my car was getting picked up. Dave did explain to me I would have to pay a reservation fee when the truck was dispatched from the depot to pick up my vehicle, that I was totally cool with as long as I knew they were on the way. I asked if they price match and Dave explained to me that yes they do price match however, depending on the price, it might not ship immediately, it may take a few days or so. My quote from Eagle was $783 and the lowest quote I got was $725. Dave matched the price and we were off to the races. 3 days after my booking I received a call from Rose letting me know she has assigned a driver to pick up my vehicle and she informed me of the estimated pick up and delivery dates. She also charged my credit card a $50 reservation fee to guarantee my truck space since the truck was already confirmed dispatched and leaving their depot in New York for Illinois. After we hung up the phone I checked my email and found an email from her with the drivers direct contact information so I could reach the driver in the event I had more specific questions. Overall I had a very pleasant experience. I didn't have to pay more, the $725 price stood and I got my car moved for that price. read more

I used Eagle Auto Carriers when I moved to San Francisco from Los Angeles. They were professional and answered all my questions. This was my first time using a moving service so I was a little scared, but I'm very thankful it all worked out nicely. Max was very helpful when I booked my car and I was happy with the service I received. The communication was excellent by text message and email. The driver Romeo was very nice and he was able to get my car as close as he could, because he could not deliver my vehicle to the front of my house because the truck wouldn't fit on my street. I was able to meet him off the 101 at the shopping center with a big parking lot and I drove my car home, it was only about a mile or so away. I'm very happy with the service I received. My husbands job needed him to relocate, and If relocating cross country wasn't difficult enough having only 5 days notice to pack up a house and ship two cars was definitely challenging! After searching online for a few days I came across ""Eagle Auto Carriers"" I called and spoke with Max, I explained to him that we needed our cars picked up in a few days and the prices we have been quoted, told him I am calling because of the reviews I saw online were the best yet I have seen yet.. Max was great form the start, he gave me a quote which I felt was very fair and it stayed true to the price. (Price was $1995, for a Lexus and a Nissan truck)  Max got back to me shortly and reassured me we were good to go. The driver was set to come on Friday (the day we needed) and the delivery date was perfect, right on time. The driver called the day before just like we were told so we could prepare and have payment ready. Upon delivery we inspected our cars, they look great, just how we had left them, and the driver was very nice!  Max and his guys at Eagle are awesome!!! I was informed by email/phone through the whole process and felt comfortable from the start. Both companies have great follow through / customer service and you are always in contact with them. We are planning on moving back to California in a few years and will use this company again for sure!  If you are looking for peace of mind and having your cars transported/delivered safely this is the way to go!
