I went to Eagle Brook Country Club for a wedding on Friday night, July 17. The club itself looked very beautiful on the outside and the landscaping was very nice. The wedding vows were held outside and it was about 90 degrees in full sun, very hot, and some residual from the wildfires in Canada. We were all looking forward to getting inside to the AC but unfortunately it was very hot inside the bar area. The dining area was also very warm and uncomfortable, to the point where people were using fans to cool themselves off and not many people were dancing. We left the wedding a little early around 10PM because it was getting too warm. Also, for dinner I had the beef and stuffed chicken. The chicken was tender and good but the beef was overcooked. The golf course is on a wetland so it floods very easily. Which means you walk every time it rains. The head pro doesn't talk and is not very friendly. The restaurant has bad service with only one person working. Not a country club feel here. read more

I had the most BEAUTIFUL wedding at Eagle Brook on Friday! I am in awe of the amazing service I received during my year plus of planning and excellent service on the wedding day. Sue, one of the event coordinators, is an absolute superhero!!! She helped me plan the event from start to finish, was always readily available when I had last minute questions or changes, and really made a personal connection with me. Sue absolutely went above and beyond for me EVERY step of the way! She was on top of it with all of my vendors and covered every detail with a fine-toothed comb. Without Sue, my day would not have been as perfect as it was. Even though it rained on my special day, the ceremony and photos were beautiful! Sue again saved the day calling my vendors and coming up with a plan B before I could even think about taking care of it. The banquet person helped set up Thursday (so sorry I can't remember his name - but he was excellent)! Joey was my banquet captain on the wedding day and he was nothing short of AMAZING as well!!!!! I heard nothing but RAVE reviews from every single one of my guests! Matter of fact, guests were still calling us and numerous family members the days following to talk about how excellent the service and food was. No complaints here! Such a good value for everything in our package. Typically when you go to a wedding, you don't remember the food or service, but it was literally the highlight of everyone's evening. The bartender was excellent too, and I loved that our open bar package included things like Cosmos and Long Islands - many wedding bars will not accommodate. Too bad weddings are a one time thing because we'd love to get married again at Eagle Brook! Thank you to Sue, Joey, the excellent bartender and the equally amazing kitchen and banquet staff who made this the absolute BEST WEDDING (I know I'm biased but this really was)!!! read more

I was here for a bridal shower recently. The space is very pretty, especially the outside area. The food was mediocre at best. The servers were a big scrambled and unbalanced. They dropped a lot of plates and just didn't seemed trained well. However, the shower was still beautiful and everyone had a great time. read more

We went with the Premium Package for my daughter's wedding and received the worst service the day of the wedding. The food tasted great but was not what we selected at our tasting. We had to search out the staff to get anything done. Appetizers were not being passed. The tables were not being cleaned off and were cluttered with food and drinks. The bar service was awful, the same drink tasted different every time, the 7-Up was flat and the one bartender was rude. We had to search out staff to request the garbage that was overflowing in the washrooms be cleaned up. I spent most of the evening going into the kitchen looking for the staff when I should have been enjoying a celebration that took a year to plan. read more

I honestly don't even know where to start. After a major issue with our original wedding venue, Eagle Brook truly saved us. Everything was incredible. The ceremony space was gorgeous, the bar area was clean & spacious, and the ballrooms looked absolutely stunning. Amanda was AMAZING every single step of the way. She did everything she could to accommodate us and knocked it out of the park. She set up our memorial table, our guestbook, and put all the finishing touches on the reception space so that my girls didn't have to run around and do things. She checked on us in the bridal suite, making sure we didn't need anything or have questions. Without Amanda, our day would not have ran NEARLY as smooth. Attended a wedding for a friend here and had a very pleasant experience! From the decor to the food and all the amenities offered at this country club, the bride's effort was truly evident with the help of the staff who were both friendly and accommodating. I can easily see this being a great spot for other events big and small such as showers or anniversary parties and even corporate events. The staff and management seem to have everything pretty organized and consistent. I'd definitely recommend this place for special occasions. read more

Eaglebrook was a wonderful venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. The updates to the decor look beautiful and the staff was amazing to work with! Lindsay was available to answer every question we had before the day and on the day of the wedding she and the other club staff were super helpful with everything we could possibly need. The food was fantastic, we had so many compliments from our guests on the buffet! I especially want to say that the day after, when we came to pick up our decorations and things, they had everything cleaned up and organized, ready for us to take home which was a huge help since we didn't want to have to worry about too much fuss after the big day. If your organization is looking for an affordable venue, the Eagle Brook Country Club should be at the top of a short list. They are a well kept secret in the Tri City area. read more

Our daughter had her wedding reception at Eagle Brook this past Saturday and the reception was absolutely perfect! Over the past 18 months Amanda and Melissa were amazing at answering our constant, numerous questions. On the day of the reception Amanda ran around making sure every single detail was perfect. She led the wedding party and the photographer out on the golf course in golf carts and showed them where the best places were to take pictures. Most of our guests stayed until midnight, and all night guests were thanking us saying that this wedding reception was the best reception they had ever attended. The venue was gorgeous and our daughter's reception truly exceeded all of our expectations! read more

I went to a business/ service dinner meeting here last week. Service was nice, but frankly I have never had such terrible food. The sad part was this group was honoring those with disabilities, physical and mental and this was their awards dinner? No effort was put into this meal and I am sure the charges were not cheap. I can't describe how awful the food was and in fact I did not finish the over -cooked, mushy pasta.with horrible sauce on top. A woman next to me said " this is the worst food I have ever eaten". I have been to many functions at this club because I live locally and organizations use them constantly. Shame on the chef and next time taste what you are sending out to those in the dining room. Hope a credit was given to the association. read more

I live on the golf course. Our house has been here for decades and for the first time, a golfer broke one of our windows. When I called the golf club, the attitude was, "not our responsibility". I get that it is on the golfer's honor and my insurance to figure it out, but I had thought that golfing would have a high level of distinction and sportsmanship. I was told that the day our window was broken was a day and time when the Batavia Chambers of Commerce was using the facilities (I was incorrectly told that it was Geneva Chamber by Eagle Brook Golf Club). I expected a resounding, "we can talk to the party involved" as one "distinguished" organization to another. But, no. The club made it very clear that they had no intentions of helping in any way, and their meek sympathy existed only at the level of the receptionist that answered the phone. This was not the attitude I expected from a company of its supposed caliber. read more

We have not actually booked our wedding venue here and will not be doing so. Pricing is quite steep as well as both of us feeling very out of place here when we first walked into the club. We didn't feel like we were "preppy" enough, if you know what I mean. The person we were supposed to meet with walked right by us, said hello and kept on walking. We didn't know that was who we were supposed to be speaking with at the time. My fiance and I took it upon ourselves to kind of walk around however we felt many eyes on us so we just stayed put until someone else finally came back to the front and asked what they could help us with. We told them we had an appointment to go over wedding venues and she mentioned she would let Donata know right away. (We were only about 3 minutes early for our appointment time). She came back and said that Donata was with a couple for a tasting and would be with us as soon as possible. First, why did you make the appointment with us knowing you had something else scheduled? Second, the staff didn't seem very welcoming. About 15-20 minutes later, Donata was asking the other woman who originally went to find her to deliver some linens to her couple that was doing the tasting. She then proceeded to show us around the venue however seemed very rushed to get through the whole thing. She showed us pictures on her tablet/iPad rather quickly and breezed through the papers that were in the folder she gave us. Any time I tried to ask a question I felt I had to interrupt her to ask because she didn't seem like she was even breathing through her presentation. If you like ritzy and expensive and are the preppy type, then this place is for you! read more

We had our wedding reception at Eaglebrook and it was really wonderful! Everything looked beautiful and Lindsey and her assistant were really helpful! They set up the venue perfectly (minus the projector not being up for a video we paid to have shown). They answered a thousand questions I had throughout the year! The food was fabulous-our guests are still raving about it. There were a few hiccups with service like the wine was slow to be poured, most of my guests didn't have a drink at dinner. I felt like once the reception started it was up to me and my parents to make sure the food service was going well. We also thought the bar would be in the actual room but it was outside of the room which I didn't like but wasn't a big deal in the scheme of things. The reception area (and entire club) was just redone and it is gorgeous. The golf course is an amazing backdrop for pictures. We had a great night there-wish it didn't go by so fast though! Definitely a great place to have a wedding-just go over the details a few times to make sure everything is how you think it will be! Highly recommended! read more

To say our wedding day was perfect would be an understatement. From the very beginning the service that was provided by Eagle Brook was unreal. We signed our contract with Eagle Brook before the renovations were completed and were kept in the loop about all the new updates. The venue was perfect before, but the upgrades that were made to the ballroom are simply stunning. It is truly a high-end venue. Lindsay Lange, event coordinator, was a dream. She was patient and understanding and took the time to answer all my questions. She was so helpful during the whole process and was easy to communicate with. It was also apparent that she had the support of the management throughout the planning process. We chose to have our ceremony and our reception at Eagle Brook. The outdoor ceremony was gorgeous on the greens overlooking the golf course. Our cocktail hour was perfect on the terrace... and of course our reception was flawless. The servers and bartenders were professional and accommodating to our guests. The food was five-star. And once again, Lindsay was there to help with anything I needed. For example, one of our guests brought a date that he didn't RSVP for and Lindsay was quick to jump in and take care everything for me. I could go on and on. Overall, I look back at our wedding and could not be more thrilled. It was more than I could have ever imagined and would recommend Eagle Brook to anyone and everyone. read more
