The only problem was that everyone had the same idea as us so the paths were a bit busy. Nearby are a bunch of picnic tables and they even have indoor restrooms that were clean. Props to whoever is keeping those up to par! There is also a bunch of benches, a gazebo, and plenty of open space for a picnic. We packed one and it was the best idea. The park is right alongside the walking/bike path and you can get to it from the parking lot of the Geneva bike shop. It's honestly a cool looking park to bring the kiddos for the day. One thing to note is that the paths in this area are pretty narrow. With bikers zooming by, it isn't the easiest spot to walk your dog. I think what would help is if people walked their bike, instead of riding it in front of the park area. Anyway, we were glad we stopped by and recommend if you're looking to get outside in Geneva!

I've been on it once or twice before but can't remember if I enjoyed it, so I'll have to go back someday. I mostly love visiting the gardens. It's free to enter. The garden is small and takes about 5-10 minutes to walk through, but it's so peaceful and a great spot for photos! I love the bridge and admiring the bright green foliage. It's worth the stop if you are nearby. It is very close to downtown Geneva and Batavia, and both towns have plenty of things to do! You can definitely make a day trip out of it. There's also great walking and bike riding paths in the forest preserve.

It's a beautiful windmill on the outside and inside and everything is basically made of wood. And you have these really friendly staff or volunteers who teach you about the history of the windmill. There's also a beautiful Japanese garden with many different types of plant entries. It's a great place to take pictures if you're having an event or for a wedding.

There is a climbing teepee (at least that's what it looks like), a seesaw, and several play areas not necessarily suitable for toddlers. There's a great little boardwalk area where you can see beavers, ducks, and other wildlife. There's also a bike path running in front i f the park with tons of parking. There's also a nice raised deck area with several picnic tables where you could enjoy a snack or meal and the nice view.

This is the best disc golf course in The Kane. Hands down…read more My 6yr old son and I head over here all year round to play this course. The Wheeler disc course sculpts a greater park that also claims several walking/bike paths, a baseball field, soccer/hockey fields, picnic areas, a playground, a mini golf course and tennis courts. Some of the holes are too hard for him to come close to par, but others are a great fit for his current ability. The course has a great range in difficulty which spans from easy par 3's to challenging par 4's. Legging out the entire course is about a 2 mile venture. The backwoods holes are a real hoot. Can't tell you the number of times I've headed into the tree's or the ravine to find a disc that's hooked too far right or left. Throwing from the top of the hill on hole #11 is a person fav. Just don't be surprised if you have to perform the aforementioned trip on a stray disc. Other holes feature baskets on the other side of a cluster of tree's, some border natural grass/reed areas, while others have very lengthy fairways weaving lines of tree's. Amenities-wise there's a drinking fountain near the parking lot and bathrooms near the playground. If you need anything else, bring it. Most golfers here like to bring their own beverage of choice. It's run by the Geneva Park District and the stay pad is open from June to September, typically. All of our kids love to be there. From infants up through elementary ages for sure will enjoy it. We visited the farm park and took in the various garden areas, and the butterfly house.
