Is a fun place with friends, I don't drink beer so I can't speak to the quality of that, but the food is mediocre. I had cheese sticks that were pretty good but the chili cheese fries were not great. They use queso and put bacon on the fries but I couldn't find the chili. They did bring me a side of chili that was heated in microwave but by the time I got the fries were soggy in queso. The service seems to be great if you're a regular, but I waited 5 mins to order a drink with two people at the bar registers who were chatting it up with the person in front of me so I just sat down and decided I didn't need anything at that time. read more

Beerrific lunch at Eagle Creek brewing! Very quiet on a Friday afternoon. BEER I opted for a flight of beer. In general their beer is malty, and low on hops. Some prefer it this way and some like the hops. GEORGIA TEA PARTY was my favorite. It's a sweet tea amber ale. Their SPOT TAIL BLONDE is their best seller and I'll admit it was a good, full bodied blonde ale, and my second favorite beer here. The STATEABORO BLUE is their blonde mixed with blueberry puree. It was fruity for sure. The PRALINE BROWN was a nice nutty brown. The TORMENTA was super fruity and tasted more like a fruit punch than a beer. It was my least favorite. Good beer but would appreciate some less malty options given my personal taste. I was surprised there wasn't even one IPA brewed and on tap during my visit (IPAs and Hazy IPAs are all the rage right now). FOOD HUGE menu for a brewery. Beer quality is important but you won't stay, or even stop if they don't have food to accompany your homemade barley sodas. I gave an extra star for their food menu. I ordered the brisket sandwich. Tender brisket topped with bacon and cheese. The bun was good too. I'd order this again! I asked for side of fried pickle chips. They delivered spears instead of chips (which is another option) and I prefer the chips. I found the breading thin for the 1inch spears. The buffalo ranch sauce was too thin. I'd recommend asking for plain rach that's not watered down with buffalo sauce. KEGS This is a college town and it shows. Empty kegs line the back wall. Much better beer selection than your mass produced lagers for college parties. ENVIRONMENT Cozy taproom. The seating is about twice the size of the stage, which is presumably thumping on weekend evenings. Brewery that serves food in this college town. This was my first visit to this establishment. At first glance, both the inside and outside are a bit unkept, almost befitting of a small college town brewery. One orders their food and drink at the bar and pays for it at that time. I ordered a flight, which consist of four of their beers and what appeared to be 5 ounce glasses. The flight was quite expensive at $10.25! For dinner, I ordered a Shrimp Po boy with side of French fries and side of broccoli slaw. Sandwich was decent, but with only five small shrimp on this huge roll it was most underwhelming. The fries were of the frozen variety and were undercooked (terrible). The broccoli slaw was pretty good except for the chunks of dry Ramen that was on top as it was simply raw Ramen instead of being toasted. I probably would not return, which is unfortunate because their beer was actually pretty good. The food was just not that great and the place itself is a bit grungy and unkept. read more

I believe this is the only brewery in the area, but that's not a bad thing. I am typically pretty skeptical of going somewhere I have never heard of but then again, if you don't go how will know if you will like it or not? The beers here seem to be well made, which is awesome because you don't have to worry about quality. My favorite was the barrel aged brown ale. The original brown ale is really solid but there was something about being aged in a bourbon barrel that really resonated here. If they still have that sweet tea beer... get it. It's really mild and that sweet tea flavor presents itself in the finish. I ordered a burger from here too as I was hungry. Got the brussels sprouts as a side and everything I had was very good. My only gripe is that the base burger is $9.00 and seems a tad pricey but was good from a quality and taste perspective. If it was a tad larger it would be a good value at $9. Would I go back? I sure would. Being the only brewery in town I would want to support them and try out their new brews. As for food, I wouldn't not eat here again but depending on circumstances may opt for food elsewhere. read more

Good initial impression at entrance. Nice, clear instructions at the entrance to place your order at the bar, take a seat and food would be brought to you. Menu looks like a reasonable variety of casual food. Ordered 2 meals and drinks. Both were brought in a reasonable time. Both meals did NOT match the order. Food tasted "okay" but nothing special. Drinks were a mixed drink and a beer. The blonde ale tasted like it had a slight infection and thus an off taste, just a bit. In order to get a second round, the server cannot take your order, but the customer has to go back to the bar to order the next round, even with an open tab. We stopped here to use the destination charger for our Tesla. The people who work here are super friendly and just all around a nice crew. Upon research: Nothing has been done to improve the quality of the interior at all since its purchase (7)years ago. This location can be equated to a small town pub with a few extra homemade beers. The novelty wears of at this point. Open (Mic) night and Trivia night only appeal to the hard core Locals and College Students seeking to inflame their Livers in getting away from learning for a night. A little trickery and Tom Foolery goes along with the Bartending. The usual short pour along with the watered down drink help with the register and keeping those who have become drunk..in line. The menu has a few items worth trying out...and that is about it. The food can be a bit bland, but that is due to the fact that Eagle Creek Brewing Company has too much turnover in their Kitchen. Their main cook can provide a delicious meal, but that would be the only time to eat there. **Dining would be an inappropriate term to use when eating at Eagle Creek. Think of a bar filled up with many tables and chairs. The blandest food I've ever tasted. I ordered the eagles nest with brisket. They only gave 15 bite size pieces of brisket. The "queso" has a very odd texture and taste. There was no flavor. I didn't receive bbq sauce on top. I don't know if that makes a difference. It's a shame the chef forgot to put it. In an attempt to give it another shot i ordered onion rings. My husband and I just moved to Statesboro and enjoy craft beer, so we decided to try this place. My husband had the blonde ale which he enjoyed. I told the bartender what beer I typically like and she recommended the Statesboro Blues. The bartender was very helpful. When I mentioned I had never had grits before, she went back to the kitchen to get me a sample. I ordered the shrimp and grits which were heavenly. They definitely deserve the award they received for that dish! My husband had the Brew Burger with the sweet potato waffle fries. The Brew Burger was passable, but the sweet potato fries were fantastic, easily the best ones we've ever had. They were perfectly crisp with just the right amount of salt. Took a motorcycle ride down to this Brewery. We were pleasantly surprised. I had the brisket sandwich with the house chips. Both were excellent. Wife had the wings. Although they were supposed to be spicy they weren't but she said they were excellent anyway. We had a couple IPA's (forgot the name) and they were very good. We finished our day there with the pretzel. The stone mustard was a little too sweet for my liking but the pretzel was great and I got a side of regular mustard. I love Eagle Creek. They have a great location with a ton of space to sit, stand, and hang out with your friends. There's a lot of games as well. Drive by stop in. Never been there until today. Lunch. Rather unorganized upon entering. Once we figured it all out, we ordered at the bar. Rather pricey for basic bar food. But we ordered anyway. Burgers were tasty but, for a $12.50 a burger and side I expected a better setup. Burger was tasty but about a $8.50 meal not a $12.50. Cheese fries were cold and not cooked all the way with liquid cheese on them. Paid the extra for bacon on top. Fair at best on those. Grilled Chicken fingers were luke warm and the fried squash was not fully cooked. Great atmosphere though. read more
