However, if you wish to purchase your eye glasses elsewhere they retain your Pupillary Distance (PD) number (two-digit millimeter measurement) from your prescription and charge $35 for this information. Mind you, this process takes them no more than 2 minutes and is part of your appointment regardless. And this number is part of MY PRESCRIPTION. This would be like your primary care provider retaining the dosage from your prescribed medication if you do not purchase from their pharmacy and charging you outside of your insurance coverage as an extra fee. This should be illegal or something. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!

He explains everything in such detail for you to understand and not get lost in medical terminology. I was a bit nervous about getting my eyes dilated due to in the past I would get a massive migraine afterwards and let him know that as well. With that being said he use a far less percentage and made sure through out the whole appointment if I was okay and I was! No migraine at all. My son was also nervous about getting drops in his eyes due to him not ever having drops in his eyes before and again Dr. Kevin talked to him and made him laugh and my son says "that wasn't bad at all!" I'll continue to recommend Dr.Kevin. For not only being caring and compassionate, but really making you feel as you matter and your just not "just another patient"

The same thing. This is bad business. If you're that busy simply ask for the customers phone number and give me a courtesy call back. It's rude to put me on hold in the middle of me talking and for that I don't care to use your center for business. So if you're looking for a place that keeps you on hold and keeps putting you on hold when you call this is the place for you.

We have spent a week digging through old EOBs and calendars to check on the date of service, etc. to no avail. I feel we're held hostage to something they can arbitrarily make up on their own and we're stuck. We can only guess at the insurance, but what it looks like they billed does not have a dependent eye care program for retirees. Very odd and suspicious on FOA's part. I paid the bill, but I would never recommend them to anyone. Billing is obviously scary and from what I can remember regarding the eye-care for our kids, it was only fair to average. Do yourself a favor and go to My Eye Dr, service is exceptional and insurance, billing, and payments are handled before you walk out the door. No surprises

Fields Family Eye care was the closest optometrist so I went straight there for help. Not only were they THE friendliest business I've had the pleasure to have visited...they put new nose pads on, cleaned the glasses & tightened all the micro-screws too. We visited a bit and there was NO charge. I asked them what they wanted for Christmas and was on my way in just a few short moments. This staff was so wonderfully proactive, beautiful office I can only say that I've already recommended them to my son & his entire family! WOW does NOT even start to say it. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

I genuinely hoped for a little flexibility, especially after waiting three months for this appointment. But they refused and were told to reschedule. The next available is 1.5 months out. This was already a rescheduled appointment, since my first appointment had been cancelled when the doctor suddenly became unavailable. Very frustrating experience.

While waiting for them to cut lenses Peter gave great recommendations to a Nepalese joint! And then upon returning to pick up my eye ware I saw a pair of sunglasses and they were able to put my prescription in them. I can't wait to come back and try on the sunglasses when they're ready! The whole area is magical. From the pie joint to the eye glass joints!

I was in and out before I knew it! Marilu was very kind and helped my daughter try on a frame that was perfect for her face. With that being said, my daughter chose a different pair because it looked like the frames were "glowing". :) Marilu suggested some extra things we could do to the lenses, but I didn't feel any pressure to say yes.
