Right away I got good vibes just by speaking to the owner over the phone. He ask me what size unit I had and where it was going. Then gave me a flat moving rate that I approved of. On moving day I had some issues getting my apartment so I was 15min late to the unit. They were nice enough to patiently wait until I arrived. Moving started at 1pm with the help of another guy they went straight to work. They moved my stuff from the storage to the truck in like a hour. Which I was surprised because the company who moved me to my storage had three people and took way more time then that. I was so pleased because everything was finally going right. When they got to the apartment they immediately got to unloading everything. They even chatted with me a lot as we discussed my new apartment and how I could had gotten a better rate elsewhere. (if only I knew them sooner) They were really friendly which is what southern hospitality is all about. What I expected to be a scary situation turned out to be a win overall. I hired my own packer/unpacker on both ends which took about 2-3 hours. I was unsure whether I needed one POD or 2 and the best deal offered was I could order 2 but only be charged for what I used. The second POD was 1/2 the cost of using 1. This was very helpful. The only area that could use improvement is the customer service information by phone. I was concerned about my driveway getting damaged and one person told me they put a heavy rubber sheeting down under it for protection. Another call later said they put nothing under it. The answer is they put nothing under it but the operators were careful and no damage was made to my driveway. It was also by accident that I found out reading on line about ordering 2 pods but only being charged for what you use. If the initial representative had given me this information, it would have saved me time and stress. I would definitely use them again.

The local hub employees on both ends of our move were just as helpful and accommodated a couple of special requests without hesitation. We moved from Florida to Georgia and the price we paid for U-Pack was less about half of what it would have cost to use U-Haul or Penske and then we would still have to drive the trucks and pay for fuel. I can't say enough about how great an experience this was. The only thing that would have made it better is if they would have loaded and unloaded the truck for me!!

I've attached some pictures to back-up my statements. This is what I've seen so far: Missing items (I want these back): * 1 brown wicker cabinet w/4 drawers (2 on top, 20-1/2" W x 29-1/2 H x 16" D) (see attached which is similar). * 2 big boxes of books/miscellaneous. Furniture has damage (see attached). Squashed and ripped boxes (see attached). Footprints/marks on medicine containers (see attached). Dirt/marks on larger decorative bins (see attached). I reached out to Brandon several times to resolve this to no avail. Then there were disparaging messages from him (see attached). He says I'm a messy old lady (see attached). Who isn't messy when they are moving? For someone who was paid VERY WELL, great tip, plus expensive donations, I feel extremely disrespected, offended, and ripped off, and made to feel less than. They said they would call me 3-4 days before the move to go over details with me, that never happened. I finally called them a few days before the move, where someone immediately and very rudely told me that they couldn't move me. They said they were booked up, and didn't have the men. Another guy then tried to tell me that it was an "IT issue" with their central office, not their fault so they couldn't do anything. Through trying to complain about this issue, I was connected back to them and spoke to somebody else. This time his excuse was that a "truck broke down" after I scheduled my move. I do not believe a single one of their ever-shifting excuses. Sure, they're giving me my deposit back and "taking responsibility", but none of that helps me when I have to be out of my place in less than a week. He just kept insisting that someone else can do it (and would not listen when I told him that I did the legwork already and that wasn't true). Do not book with this awful, scam of a company. They will cancel your move and completely screw you over and do nothing to make it right outside of the barest possible minimum.

We ended up calling the police I was given a time between 11-4 for arrival of movers. They didn't show up until 6. They started packing all of our small stuff first and left our big furniture until last. This resulted in big furniture not being packed on the truck "because they ran out of time" I was willing to pay more to get them to load the rest and when I booked this, this did tell me I could pay for additional hours. But no- since they started on small stuff so they left me on my own with several heavy items I could not lift on my own. They also ruin our floors and packed our leather couch without wrap. Moving is stressful and they made it nightmare. I have long list of other things I could say.
