They isolated/sealed off the work area. The old insulation was removed, they sanitized the attic, sealed air gaps and placed the new insulation. Some areas were pretty tight. After all was done, Nome went into the attic to verify the work and to assure that the air gaps were done. He also made sure that the old vent duct boots were secure and repaired a couple of them. I have been very busy and haven't had a chance to go into the attic, but will at some point. Overall, I am very satisfied with what this company has done and how detailed Nome was to assure the work was done right. There us an impressionable difference in the temperature in the house.

I had to look for a place that services my Brand of water heater, is reputable, and available! They were able to come out SAME DAY and kept me informed throughout the day of changes in eta. There was a pretty big change in eta but that worked out for me because I was just leaving work to meet their technician. The technician (Roberto Ramirez) was kind and patient and explained what COULD be wrong and what was ACTUALLY wrong. He told me what to look for in the future and possibly how to prevent it from happening again. He told me how to maintain it going forward and some other tips and tricks that might help extend the life of my water heater. Additionally, he contacted the warranty company and worked with them to get the needed part today at zero cost to me which you would think might annoy a company or technician but he didn't seem bothered at all. David was the project manager, one of the hands-on workers at moments, and salesperson, which meant there was clear ownership from start to finish. What stood out most was his thoroughness and sense of responsibility to do the job right. They didn't even begin installing the new insulation until they were 100% certain every rodent entry point had been successfully sealed. So, there was absolutely zero pressure on me to have them complete the job faster than it should have been completed. My home was built in 1948, and older houses like this have countless entry points. They clearly understood that and took the time to address it correctly. I was not asked to pay until they were certain the attic was completely rodent-free, which says a lot about their integrity. David also provided clear information to help me pursue a tax credit for the new insulation, which I really appreciated. Overall, I felt genuinely taken care of. David and his team put in the time and effort my old house needed, and the entire experience was surprisingly pleasant. He even worked with me on the cost. From a spill going 200 ft down the street that I had to clean up and then bring to their attention, even though it was attempted to be covered up by dirt, to a 1 day project taking 4 days, they accept zero responsibility. I was in contact with their manager since work was done to 30 days post when they placed a lien without any notice. When I then contacted the entire team I was told I had not been in communication and again, no self accountability taken. Work was not to speck in area and foam had inconsistencies in texture and color potentially showing mixture problems.

The property was empty so I asked them to let me know when it was complete and to send photos of the work. They failed to do either. I paid all but 1.5%, because I wanted proof of completion. After 6 months (!) someone texted a grainy photo of somebody's attic from which I am supposed to accept that it is mine and then insisted on full final payment. They failed to provide notice that they were coming to take a picture which is highly unprofessional for a rental property in particular. I do NOT recommend using this company.
