It was $25.00, 20 min long, my feet don't feel very soft at all, hardly any time was spent on my cuticles, no exfoliation, toe nails were barely filed, and to finish the polish was sloppy. The pedicure was ok, though she kept having to add nail polish remover to my bottle and insisted it was fine rather than getting a new color. The eyebrow wax was awful. I could tell when she started tweezing like crazy and literally grabbing chunks of hair this was not going to end well. Eagle Nail is the best! Doesn't smell like acetone and they have tons of colors! My gel manicure lasts for weeks whenever I go to Eagle Nail. One of my nails had ripped halfway across way too low on the nail bed. When I got my last manicure, it had just grown out, but my nail bed is still tender and my nail is very short. Lily was so careful and cautious to make sure she didn't irritate it further. Never going anywhere else in Boulder! read more

Update as of 3/1: This place is under new management and is pretty good. I did a set of gel nails here and the man working here did a very thorough job painting them. When I coughed once, the woman who trimmed and shaped my nails immediately brought me over a bottle of water. It was clean and they seemed to care a lot about the quality of the job they did. The reason I felt it was 4 stars was because when the man did the massage and got closer to me it was clear he was a heavy smoker. I take no issue with how he lives his life, but my hands stank of smoke the rest of the day, even after washing them. I wish the lotion hadn't absorbed so much of the cigarette scent. I would come again and just ask for no lotion. Overall great! Prices are fair too, I believe mine was $25-$30 for gel nails. read more

I went to Eagle Nail as I needed an appointment for my friends birthday the following day. My usual nail place in Louisville was all booked up so I googled "nails near me" and this is the first place that popped up and had the most stars (surprisingly)! I came in for a simple pedicure and manicure. I was immediately surprised by the staff and their inattentiveness towards me and other customers. Their polish selection is very limited. I opted to white because I didn't see any other colors that I would do or even find at a typical nail place. So none of this is stuff that completely bothered me. The pedi was pretty good. They definitely needed to focus more on my dead skin and cuticles (for the mani too) but the polish turned out okay. On the fingers is where things really got crazy. First, the lady didn't even move me from the pedi chair to the mani desk. She just had me stay in the chair with a tray in my lap with a bowl of lukewarm water. It's not like I told them I was rushed for time or that they were busy. My cuticles were even more jaggity looking when I left. The woman did FIVE coats of white polish and another 2 coats of top coat plus the base layer was 8 coats of polish on each finger. No wonder that within a couple hours of leaving I had chips coming off of half of my fingers already. I was trying to be very careful with my hands because I saw how many coats she did and they still chipped immediately. Even I can do white nail polish better than that!! The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because they do dry your nails for you and check until they are dry for you to leave.... which I guess every other nail place does any how but just trying to look for some positives!! The tools seemed to be pretty sanitized as well. But if you're wanting to pay $15 for a manicure I would find somewhere else or just do it yourself!! read more

I made an appointment for 3 pedicures for two of my friends and me. When we arrived they started working on us right away (which doesn't always happen at salons). The lady who did my nails was very nice and patient with how jumpy I was since I'm super ticklish. We were offered water and snacks which was a nice surprise. Since we moved to Boulder I have tried out several other nail salons for my mani - and pedicures and this is by far the best. Lee, the nail tech is friendly, warm and caring and always does a fantastic job. I usually go mid-mornings and it's never too busy, so no wait time. I've been trying out different nail salons and this one is my favorite so far. Very lovely owners (Mike and Lee?) and a nice environment. They do a good job at a fair price. Mike takes a lot of time to buff my ragged heels and they come out looking sooooooo much better. I found the experience here to be a real mix of good and bad. The guy who performed the majority of my pedicure did a wonderful job. Although, he must not have been skilled in doing shellac French pedicures, so he swapped out with another woman at that point. It wasn't the biggest deal, but it was a little confusing at first and not as relaxing as having the whole service with one person. I loved my shellac French pedicure nails though -- the woman did a great job on them. The more negative part of my experience was from the woman who did my deluxe manicure while I was getting my pedicure. She hurt two of my nails by digging in to hard to the cuticles. To the point that they both were bleeding. This was even more disappointing for me, as one of the fingers was my ring finger and I was having my nails done to get married... Additionally, I don't think she paid much attention to getting a nice shape on the nails as the curve was different on each one. I ended up feeling like she didn't really care and they were just trying to get me finished to move on to the next customer. The place was clearly busy while I was there, so I guess my fear is that they were a little too concerned with getting more people in, rather than ensuring the ones that were there were well serviced. Would go here again, as the guy was great and the French pedi looks awesome, but might be a bit more cautious of having multiple services performed at one time. read more

Not even sure how they are in business. Just spent 40 minutes with flies crawling on me. A man started my gel manicure by getting polish everywhere but the nail. He gave up after he realized it was awful and had the woman in the shop try to fix it. Hands down the worst gel manicure I've ever had. I came in on a Saturday for a dip powder manicure. It was fast and I liked the results a lot. About 3 days later, one of my nails cracked and I noticed a crack starting in another. I went back in and they fixed the already cracked nail for free (which is why I'm giving 2 stars). About two hours later, a whole new nail completely broke and broke my actual nail. Now over a week later, two new nails have started lifting and are cracked. I am used to getting dip powder, so I'm really upset that they didn't even last a full week. read more

There was no one else in the store so there was a lot of awkward silence. I got shellac and paid $30 even though on a website, it said it was cheaper. Anyways, my shellac started chipping and peeling 5 days after I had it done and that was pretty disappointing. I have been getting my nails done here for over eight years. It is not a spa at the Ritz, but they do a much better job! Techs are friendly and always remember your name. Always have the best colors. Okay, so I went today based on the yelp reviews. They were all very, very nice, which is good. The place seemed clean, which is also good. The quality of the job, however, is not so good. Two of the three of us came out looking pretty good--but mine looks really bad. I mean "my kids painted my nails" bad. The man and woman that speak English do a good job. The lady that does not does not. SO not that I have to remove the polish on my fingers and toes and re-do it myself. And even out the filing. Beware! Eagle nail has new ownership. I've been going to eagle for years and it was always great! Today was my first experience with the new ownership and what a horrible experience it was. I needed a quick bikini wax and pedi on my lunch break. Bikini wax was THE worst and most painful experience ever. I couldn't even stay for the pedi I was so upset and shaking from the pain! Seriously I was almost in tears. I think she was completely inexperienced unfortunately. The only good thing is when I went to the manager she didn't make me pay. I told her how disappointed I was and how I've been coming there forever. She asked me to not come back! Fine by me. My bikini line is uneven (and needs to be redone but I'm scared and need to wait until I feel human again) and I'm still covered in wax. read more
