This is a review, not of the service which has been good, but of the experience I had today when I had to cancel at the last minute because of an issue with a heart monitor I got yesterdat. It malfunctioned and I needed to go to my cardiologist to take care of it. As I had another appointment two hours later and the medical facility is quite a distance from my house, it became an all day event. I couldn't get back to the nail salon within the 3 hour grace period. I understand the need for regulating last minute cancellations but I couldn't believe that J Lounge wouldn't consider just letting me reschedule, but instead charged the entire amount to my card. I found it unkind and unreasonable. I didn't cancel on a whim. I wasn't thrilled to be spending the day at the doctors. I would have much rather been able to settle in for a pedicure. I'd been a loyal customer and they completely screwed up a manicure - two nails broke when I got home. I was offered a free manicure to make up for this (I called back to confirm). When I went in, I got a polish change and was charged $50. I don't mind the polish change only, but shouldn't have been charged for their error. That's unconscionable business practice. read more

Wow! What a relaxing and comfortable experience. My mom and I came in for the Himalayan Detox Pedicures and we absolutely loved it. Our pedicurists, Elizabeth and Brianna were so absolutely friendly and attentive to our needs. The salon is relaxing and has a home feel to it. Very personable staff and very welcoming. Much could improve. The tech had long hair tied up in a ponytail falling down constantly almost into the polish. She tried hard but didn't do an excellent pedicure which should be the case for an $80.pedicure. Very expensive for a mediocre result plus she did have a bit of a negative attitude. read more

i paid 75 dollars for a pedicure . maybe my fault because i didn't check the price however who knew it could be this much. my toenails chipped within a week. they don't have massage chairs. the people are nice but that is a crazy price point. read more

I really like the atmosphere in this spa... very professional yet super friendly, and the accessories for sale add a dimension i like. I absolutely love the facial that I get from Ella each and every time, and she's so wonderful and such a good person. Recently, I was also appreciative of everyone on the staff, because they were patient and forgiving with the fact that I completely forgot about my appointment until they called and I had to run over late.
