They have a lot of different services to offer, but we both had pedicures. The inside is very spacious and has several different pedicure chairs as well as several different stations to get your nails done and it appears they also do chair massages. I was visiting Boulder and stopped by this shop on the way back to my hotel (very close to the Boulderado), and was helped right away. Suki gave me the best manicure I have ever had! I have very dry/strong cuticles and my nails were in terrible shape, but Suki patiently and skillfully worked to cut all of the cuticles away. My hands have never looked so good. Two days later my nails still look amazing with no chips or cracks. They also offer non-toxic, cruelty-free nail polish which is a plus for me. Was really impressed with the service. They were unable to answer my call when I intended to make a reservation and called my number back promptly to see how they could help. While they were taking off my gel, they had me sit in the pedicure massage chairs to relax to start out. My $100 Gel Manicure lasted less then 1 day! On a positive note they were friendly and clean. However the quality was a huge disappointment so I had to write a review. I received a gel manicure on Wednesday, it looked good and I left happy. The very next day however one nail started peeling and by Friday (day 2) most of them were peeling and falling off. By Saturday (Day 3) all of them were off. My nails don't seem to be damaged but I don't think they were cured long enough or their UV light wasn't up to standard. I was there for 2 hours for the mani pedi and did not rush them. It cost $100. Gels I've had in the past lasted about 2 weeks. I now have to get this redone. Very disappointing. read more

They smudged my friends nail and didn't fix it, she had another customer come in and rushed my friends nails so she could get to the next customer. My first mani/pedi here was so great (thorough, clean, etc.) that I keep coming back despite a noticeable drop-off in quality over the past year. Last time, the foot-massage was not great (odd focus on shins rather than feet), the fingernail polish turned out thick and slightly bubbly somehow (throw away polishes that are past their prime! and if you only notice that this is the case as you're painting, point it out so the customer can choose a different one), and the quoted price seemed to increase for indeterminable reasons throughout the appointment. IMO pretty much anyone providing nail services in this price range is underpaid, so I didn't rock the boat too much, but I do like a clear statement of what I will owe at the outset (unless I opt into upgrades during the appointment, of course). That said, my average experience here has been pretty good and you typically can walk right in and get attended to, which is really nice. I assume I've been in on off days, and will definitely give La Belle another shot. read more

I made an appointment for a gel manicure and fill. I also specifically asked for someone who works with acrylics because I like them extremely thin while making my appointment. My manicurist did not seem comfortable with even removing the existing gel I had on my nails. She caught my cuticles multiple times, then I asked her to take a small amount of length off and she couldn't match the existing almond shape I have so now I have one nail smaller and misshapen than the others because I wouldn't let her do my remaining. Then I guess it's ok just to NOT DO THE FILL BECAUSE YOU DONT FEEL LIKE IT! Wtf, I now have now chipped and exposed real nail vs acrylic and will have to get them redone when i return to LA on Christmas Eve. AND still got charged $30 for the polish change. It took a while to get both the mani pedi and I had to run to another appointment so I didn't get any polish on my toenails. The owner charged me $95.00 for a gel and a no polish manicure. I thought I'd get a price break because they didn't put on the two coats of polish plus a top coat on the pedicure.......Guess not. I'm visiting from out of town and thought I'd pamper myself with a manicure and pedicure. I requested the dipping powder technique and was confused when the technician put a top coat on that required a UV light. One of the reasons I go with dipping powder over gel is because it doesn't require a UV light. Meanwhile I'm watching the other customers receive a massage after their manicure, I did not receive one after mine. Then as I'm literally writing down the tip amount my technician interrupts me and tells me that the tip is for her and the lady who did my toes which I perceived as her way of telling me that she didn't think I was tipping enough! Fast forward an hour later, I notice that the top coat of my left thumb nail has peeled off on the corner. I then inspect the rest of my nails and notice that the top coat on all of them are beginning to peel. All I did after my nail appointment was drive 10 minutes to my airbnb. I called the salon and expressed my concern and the gentleman in the other end kept telling me to come back this week and they'll fix. That's great and all AND when I spend over $100 to have my nails done I expect that they'll last at least two weeks or more before needing to be re-done. read more

I went to La Belle for pedicures with my mom this weekend. We decided to make a reservation the day before. What a cute place! The techs were friendly and did an amazing job. They have a vast nail color selection and their massaging chairs were a great perk. Also, the hand massages they gave our feet and legs were great and very relaxing! After they were finished with our toe nails we went over to the drying station and they gave us quick neck massages which was also a nice touch. They even brought over our bags, purses, and jackets so we wouldn't have to walk back over to get them. Some people were saying that their nails smudged after getting their toes done... i didn't have that problem at all and my mom and i went shoe shopping about 2 hours after getting our nails done. I've only been here a few times. I normally cannot make a manicure last more than a week, my life just doesn't allow for it, so when the first one from this place lasted a week and a half I was stunned. Big plusses, as contrasts to my old place: 1) They don't force you to maintain any sort of awkward conversation 2) There aren't any TVs with lame midday shows blaring on in the background 3) They seem to have at least two copies of every magazine at the drying station, and they're Current! (I know this has nothing to do with the job they do but it's a great perk) 4) They're a block from my office 5) The techs are quick, and it's cheap - though they're combo prices don't seem to offer much of a discount. 6) Depending on who you get, the moisturizing step includes a great hand and arm massage. The minuses: 1) They seem to attract the on-the-verge-of-divorce middle aged type women who just Loooove to bitch about their kids. I've only been here once, but i LOVE this place. In college, I was such a mani/pedi whore, getting them as often as I could afford. But since moving to Boulder, no salon has been worth my time and money. Until now. This was the #1 place recommended by the St. Julien concierge, and that is a worth a cent or two in my opinion. The tech I had, Heather, was sweet, gentle, sensitive to ticklish feet and barely-healed blisters (both of which I suffer), and perfectly precise in her work. I am pretty good at painting my nails myself, so I always get irritated when a manicure is only as good as if I'd done it myself. Not so here. Heather's work is extremely polished and professional. I heard the word "overtime" whispered in my general direction, so I think my tech might have been working beyond her regular shift. Even so, I was never made to feel rushed or a burden. Included with the pedicure was a sugar scrub and hot stone massage. While your nails dry, they give you a quick shoulder/neck massage. Everything was so wonderful and relaxing. read more

I just moved here last Summer and since have been in search for a good pedicure. This is not your pampering kind of pedi. However if you are looking for a no thrills and frills kind of place this is it. The place is clean and spacious, the staff is friendly although not talkative, so if you are looking for friendly chit chat or a conversation whilst getting your nails done, keep looking. They do a thorough job and my toe paint lasted for 4 weeks straight even though I wear a lot of runners as I walk and hike regularly with our dogs. Again, if you are looking for a slow pampering experience, this is not it. However if you are a no fuss kind a girl and are just looking for a thorough job, this is your place. It is easily accessible, has ample parking around and the Brewing Company is right next door do you can grab a Late or a Chai to sip on whilst getting your pedicure. Enjoy ! read more

They were nice enough, but I just can't bear to give them more than 2 stars right now... The only reason I came to this shop is because they had a $7 off mani/pedi coupon for CU students, which still came up to $43 for the service. I've never paid so much for a mani/pedi, and the results looked like something I could have done at home. You do get a shoulder massage and sugar scrub included with the service, but it was a little annoying how the girls kept playing musical chairs going from customer to customer. They didn't even clip away the dead cuticles from my nails... I did get a gift certificate for a free polish change, but I'm still not sure if I want to go back to redeem it. La Belle did a great job. They were really good about booking all of our appointments together, each technician was talented and sweet and gave each of us a good mani and pedi. They were fine with us sharing a bit of wine as we had our nails done, and I thought it was a lovely experience. I would recommend anyone come here for a manicure/pedicure. I cannot stress this enough ... DO NOT GO HERE!! On a Wednesday morning, my future sister and mother in law went here to get manicures for my wedding, the next day at 11am. Not only were the manicures RIDICULOUSLY priced ($48 for acrylic), they were awful. By 1pm, my Mother in law has chipped off the top of one of her nails. Thinking it was a fluke, I thought very little of it. The NEXT DAY, morning of the wedding LESS THAN 24 hours after they had been put on, and 1 hour before the ceremony, My RING FINGER NAIL breaks off. There goes the pictures. Two days later, on the cruise, (another reason I got my nails done-- to be nice for a 7 day formal cruise), the middle finger breaks off. I look ridiculous. In under 30 minutes, I had all the nails off pain-free. I get acrylics fairly often. These were worse than STORE BOUGHT press-ons. It was terrible. Don't EVER go here if you want them to last more than 3 hours!!! A good environment is NOT worth the money. read more

I was referred to this nail salon by the St Julian spa because they were too booked to take me. I'm extremely picky about my nails and I told them that when I walked in, the manicurist (James) they gave me did my nails exactly how I like them. They did not like a woman that came back because her nails were not done right so the woman looks at me roles her eyes and then proceeds to help the other woman but with a bad attitude. Also, I have a bad habit of biting nails. I wanted to stop (which I have finally done!!) so I wanted a manicure so I could have my nails painted and I would stop. The woman was angry bc my nails were too short for her liking and she rolled her eyes too. Then, she cut my cuticle and blamed it on my nail length. I feel that the cuticle and the nail length have nothing to do with each other. All in all I have been here 4 times now and ever experience has been the same. Not again. read more

I dropped into this nail salon around 6:45 PM on Christmas Eve, and there were a couple of male customers in there finishing up their pedicures. I was welcomed very warmly and given a place to park for free. They gave me a very nice mani/pedi, lasting for more than an hour past their closing time. I asked them if they celebrate Christmas, and she said yes. Needless to say, I tipped pretty well. At the end, they even gifted me with calendar gift of cute puppy pictures and a coupon for next time. This was my second gel manicure, and it turned out better than the first one, which was done at Ulta. That one had ridges of gel next to my cuticle, which I picked at until they cracked off. The work at La Belle was smooth and kept away from the cuticle. She buffed the coats each time, and the result has been maintaining very well. Everything looks exactly the same 1.5 weeks later, except for growing out a bit. The foot pedi was wonderful as well. The chairs have mechanical massagers for your back, and the atmosphere is quiet, with relaxing spa music, which for me makes a huge difference.
