Love the selection of craft beers here! I'm not a big craft beer/IPA drinker, but I found it really easy to find a few options here because of their large menu. They've got a big variety of fruity/sour beers. My favorite was the Destiny Citrus, it was pretty light and obviously citrusy, so it was the perfect summer drink to enjoy on their patio. They have a good sized food menu too - we snacked on their delicious pretzel sticks with beer cheese. Overall awesome place to hang with friends and enjoy a unique beer. Eagle Park is the best brewery right now in Milwaukee- I'm pretty sure in all of Wisconsin. They're even in my top 5 nationally. I'm a big fan of Untappd for beer specific reviews so I won't get TOO into that piece here, but Eagle Park has gotten so creative with their beers and have been so successful at almost everything they try. In the few years I've been visiting them (starting at the old location) they went from nothing special to absolutely stellar. My current favorite from them has been the BOTMS UP. Miss Swiss was another recent offering I couldn't say enough about. This location is beautiful with large skylights to really make it feel nice and warm, a great patio in the summer and killer food options. If you ever have a chance to go to their dim sum night I also highly recommend. All in all I love this place- I swing by at least 2 or 3 times a month and am never disappointed. read more

I absolutely LOVE Eagle Park! Yesterday I tried so many different beers and I loved them all. Their space is so unique and cool! I tried lots of sours yesterday, including Mr. Boombastic, Pink Houses, Raspberry Slush, SCOBY Wan Kenobi, and I also tried Live and Let Chai. They were all amazing! Our entire table ordered wings and for as busy as they were, the orders came out really quickly. The wings are so good! I'd definitely get them again. If you like cheese curds - get them from here! You won't be disappointed. They're gooey on the inside and crispy on the outside. A variety of sauces are offered, as well. They have unique decor, including the beautiful brick walls and skylight roof with hanging string lights. Their outdoor seating area is HUGE, which is great for summer! They also have a parking lot with quite a lot of space, but there's usually street parking not too far, as well. The owners are friendly and my entire family enjoys coming here so much! Pretty cool brewery in Milwaukee not too far from downtown. I went for the first time a few weeks ago. They have a pretty wide selection of food and beers. For beers I got the DDH Set List and a Demon Haze, both quality pale ales, and then for food, I split some apps with my friends-the cheese plate, which were just curds (but very good ones at that), pierogis, you only get 3 but they're big and good, and then lastly a chips and dip, the chips were pub style chips, and the dip, while I can't remember the exact name, was cream based, kinda tangy, but good. I liked that they had 2 separate places for ordering food and beer, which shortened the lines a bit. You can buy certain beers to go as well. It was Friday night, so it was well-attended, but not overwhelmingly packed, we got our food and beer in pretty good time. Eagle Park Brewing is a great place to enjoy patio season. The have qr where you can put in your order and easily pay online. For food, their fish fry is super popular and was perfectly fried and crispy. Their cheese curds were a bit too oily but the habanero dip had such a good kick. The duck pierogis filling lacked flavor and was salty however, the the crispy wrapping was perfectly pan fried. For a fun drink, definitely try the Vegan Bikini Botm which was a milkshake ipa that tasted like a creamsicle. Great variety of seltzer, sours, IPAs, Pilsner and much more. read more

Normally I never EVER write reviews but this place ... whoa there. Came to Milwaukee for a wedding but this was the highlight of my weekend. Went in for a quick beer on the patio, but man unreal. Told the girl with the green hair just get me whatever's good and she delivered. Gave me a pureyay and I was hooked. Was going to leave then the guy with the hat asked if I wanted to go beers. Sunday afternoon. The bar is quite full but not crowded. There are 18 draft beers and a food menu if you want some food. The TVs were playing Lindsay Lohan's The Parent Trap so you know who the targeted drinkers are. :-) I had a flight of three and bought two 4-packs to go. I was very impressed their beer menu and really enjoyed two sour beers and one milkshake IPA. If you check their beer list on Untapped, most of them are over 4.0 rating. Very unusual. It might sound funny, but my greatest fear when moving to Milwaukee wasn't the prospect of experiencing my first real winter or adjusting to life in the Midwest...no, my greatest fear was forcing myself to enjoy beer. I am not a beer drinker. Give me anything else- a cocktail, some vodka, even a tiny little bottle of Fireball Whisky sneaked into a purse- and I'll have it happily, but for some reason, my tastebuds had to draw the line at beer. I've been very hard-pressed to find a beer that I like because the traditional offerings at most breweries aren't to my taste- thankfully, there is Eagle Park, offering a wide array of innovative beers and hard seltzers that even I can enjoy. After trooping through a good many breweries in this city, I am happy to declare Eagle Park my favorite brewery that I've tried so far. Milwaukee natives, you are welcome to turn your nose up at me, but can I just say how gratifying it is to come to Eagle Park and be able to actually enjoy a beer as the Real Wisconsonites do? Impostor syndrome, cured- Eagle Park is better than therapy. (but shh, don't tell my therapist) Located just off the Milwaukee River near Brady, the venue has both an outdoor, dog-friendly patio and plentiful indoor seating for the chillier winter months. It also has its own parking lot, making a visit a little too convenient for my attempts at watching my weight. I don't know how things operated pre-COVID, but the current protocol is to seat yourself, scan the menu via QR code on each table, and complete your entire order on your phone. You can also go up to order drinks at the bar. The beverage menu is overwhelming in the best way- so many options and unique ideas, all offered as full and half pours as well as to-go packages. They also offer flights. This menu changes quite regularly, so I'm always excited to see what's new and cool to try. While the beers are excellent, my absolute favorite drinks are the smoothie-style hard seltzers, which are always unbelievably delicious. I think that they could also be a good option for those who don't usually enjoy alcohol and alcohol-lovers alike. Most recently, I tried the dragonfruit, orange, and mango hard smoothie, which was great! I wish I had the foresight to write down all the drinks I've tried here, but alas...in any case, I would recommend trying the more unique options while you are here. While the food at Eagle Park isn't my favorite of the brewery foods out there, it is always pretty good, with generous portions and fair pricing [$10-15]. The fried chicken sandwich is great, and who doesn't love thighs- sorry, this is supposed to be a family-friendly review? Their Friday fish fry is pretty solid too- definitely the best-seasoned fish fry I've had around. As a fry aficionado, I can safely say their fries are the stuff of dreams. The curds and nachos...not so much; I'd sooner recommend the parmesan fries as an appetizer. The curds are okay, not my preferred kind, and the nachos are simply too gourmet and gentrified for a food that's meant to be guilt-inducingly delicious. I hope that one day they'll bring back their duck confit burger...now that, that was a marvel. I don't like beer or burgers, but somehow Eagle Park has managed to wow me with both. My partner has tried and enjoyed the Wisconsin classic burger; combined with a beer flight, this led him to proclaim Eagle Park to be the perfect brewery. My friends and I will certainly be frequent visitors to Eagle Park for post-exam commiseration and casual nights out, and I can't wait to see what new offerings pop up on their menu. Nothing great here. All of the beers that caught my interest was at the other location. These beers are all fruity, creamy, and/or full of lactose. Everyone I asked said to come here, maybe this establishment is plugged, but honestly I wouldn't recommend it. I'm so thrifty, don't get rid of anything and finish everything...regardless. These beers are expensive and I didn't finish them. Two flights of 3 (6oz) pours with tax came to $25, yikes. Then on top of being pricy, this place wouldn't turn the heat on. It's like the locals knew, everyone showed up ordering/drinking dressed like an Eskimo. Yo bro that's weird, and here's the icing on the cake, my beers never got warm. IDK!!! read more

Who knew a stellar brewery could also knock it out of the park with food?! Get over here now, you won't be disappointed. Seriously, why are you not here yet? Let's start with the beer, I mean, it is a brewery after all. Super hazy IPAs, pale wheats, berliner weisse, imperial stouts, and my new favorite style, milkshakes (lactose added). Milkshake IPAs have this thick creamy mouthfeel that balances out the citrus/bitter combo that IPAs usually have. The key lime milkshake was absolute perfection, but really all the milkshakes were well worth coming back for more. My father-in-law, a lifetime Budweiser drinker, is fairly new to the craft beer scene yet he couldn't get enough of the sour berliner weisse and the milkshakes. He went from just flights to full pints. The food?! OH MY. First, the menu takes typical bar food but elevates them. Simple burger? Nope, they give you a chuck/short rib smash patty, Hook's 5 Year American cheese, fresh veggies all wedge between a pillowy bun. Pulled pork sandwich? Nope, they marinade it in brandy old fashioned then pair it with pickled cherry chutney, orange vinaigrette, garlic aoli, and coalho cheese. Never heard of that cheese? Either had I, but it's from brazil and has the qualities of cheese curds that we are used to here in Wisco. Pulled chicken sandwich? They carefully add creme fraiche, house mixed pickles, lemon vinaigrette and cherry tomatoes on top for a so good its gone before you realize it sandwich. Oh, and all of these are served with fresh cut, think sliced fries sprinkled with cotija cheese, herbs, and pickled mustard seed. No need for ketchup here. Unbelievably, the menu still has so many other items I can't wait to try. The only negative I see is that their prices are just a tad higher than you expect. From flights to food, the cost is higher than usual but thankfully the quality makes it worth it. read more

After hitting a rough patch in my life where I just can't seem to find a brewery that seems to be pushing the limits in terms of beer offerings... look no further. Eagle Park, you've won me over. After a somewhat disappointing beer hunt through Green Bay, en route back to Chicago we decided to pit stop in Milwaukee to see what looked to be a newbie on the block could redeem our trip. Upon sitting at the bar, first beer on the list "Key Lime Milkshake IPA". Reading this, I knew we'd be in for a treat. Flights run you $10 for 3 7oz pours and they also serve full pints and halfs for $7 and $4 respectively. This price point I usually complain about if I see more than $5 for beer directly from the brewery, but if you're small scale and banging out the awesome beers I'm not gonna complain. If you happen to be on the Hazy craze that's currently sweeping the East & West Coast by storm, they had 3 different Hazy IPAs (New England Style IPAs) to choose from. All of them juicy, hoppy, and crazy color/consistency. I also had spotted someone with a blue-ish water which apparently was one of their farmhouse ales called "Blue Monday". That was a trip to see (is that a water or a watered down AMF?). Anyhow, if you're looking for a brewery that's really pushing the envelop and putting the "craft" back in craft beer. Look no further. Also forgot to mention they do offer some bites here as well. We had shared an order of the cheese curds which the batter was made with beer (go figure)... excellent for sharing and the in house dipping sauces were great. They offer impressive food options for when you realize you can't possibly stop at trying just one brew. My brother thought the "tea marinated, hop smoked" wings were pretentious, but he was just being a h8r. They also do a gnarly Impossible Burger, among other things. Today I had the Wisconsin Classic Burger and my goodness was it a perfect smash burger. 10/10, would highly recommend!

Everything I said before still holds the, but I finally got some food here. The grilled cheese and cheese basket were unique and incredible! I couldn't even tell you what was all in there but lots of good flavors & textures going on. Also tried a few new beers. I always love any of the milkshake beers (even the IPAs which I normally won't even sip after smelling), because the milk part cuts the bitterness and ends with a nice vanilla like finish. we stopped by this brewery on our cross country road trip from california, and this was by far the best food and drink we've had on the trip. the beer selection did not disappoint! we loved that we could bring our dog as well and it was spacious enough where we didn't have to worry about him getting stepped on. if you're going, you have to try their milkshake IPAs. they amazingly don't taste like IPAs (in a good way, from my humble non-IPA-drinker opinion). the pink guava and blue hawaiian milkshake IPAs were so unique, i even bought a few packs to drive 13 HOURS to my family on the east coast. I actually had to buy a cooler and ice from walmart so the live beer wouldn't go bad (dairy?) was there an easier way to get milkshake IPAs? probably. was i desperate for souvenirs for the fam? definitely. though, i might be crazy but i swear the milkshake IPAs tasted better at the actual brewery. anyway, the blue hawaiian looks tremendously unappetizing, but it tastes like a pina colada! you just gotta drink it before it starts to separate and reminds you of curdled moldy milk. the guava one was my boyfriend's favorite. and, my dog thought the burger and fries were drool worthy. cheese curds were also quite good from a first time cheese curd eater. if you actually like IPAs and beers, they have a vast menu so definitely check it out read more

Wow!!! It's incredibly difficult to find the words on how amazing this place is. Let's start with atmosphere... Love the clear story architecture! Lots of great, amazing natural light. The exposed brick brings forth the history of the building, a former tannery as I understand it. Only minor negative is the warmth the natural light brings. Easy to overlook. The selection of beers is crazy given how new this brewery is! I opted for a beer flight. My flight included a coffee infused beer called Huey Lewis and the Booze. If you love coffee, you'll love this beer. The 2nd beer is called Nelson Sauvin NEIPA. It has hints of grapefruit. The 3rd beer is called Line Check, which is a brown porter. While I'm not necessarily fan of porters, I would definitely order this again! The food... what can I say other than it was delicious! My husband said it one of the best burgers he's had. The fries have just the right amount of garlic and Parmesan cheese. I ordered the braised pork tacos. I was a bit nervous based on the description, "pecan and porter braised pork shoulder, peach jam, goat cheese, arugula, radish, and gin pickled onion". It was incredible! I chose the watermelon feta salad as my side and it didn't disappoint! The service was very attentive and answered any questions we had. You want canned beer to take home? They can it on the spot! We stopped in on Saturday for their release of Yabba Dabba Do! This is a very cool place but definitely hard to find. You will need to know where the building is and how to get in before you go. Close to a distillery and in a warehouse, you will need to buzz in. They will tell you that it is Eagle park and to come up to the second floor. Their beer was unique with batches like berry milk shake and yabba dabba do, replicating the taste of fruity pebbles. You can stay and enjoy beer or get some to go in their crowlers that they will can for you there. Definitely a place to stop in Milwaukee for craft beer lovers! read more

I came here for the first time with a friend for the Izakaya and Dim Sum Pop up event. I really liked the concept of this event being that the restaurant has a special menu for this one-day event. For the event you had to reserve tickets in order to attend. The tickets cost $17.50 including service fees from Eventbrite. We were refunded the ticket price from our check and the tickets were for reservation purposes. When we arrived, we were given 2 slips for us to place our orders. After you were done placing your order you would hand in your slip to the counter and wait for your food to be served. The place was pretty crowded but not too busy. Both of us ended up ordering a few dishes and just splitting them. Our food came in a reasonable amount of time considering that it was pretty crowded. We ordered the takoyaki, steamed duck confit dumplings, Japanese-style chicken wings, beef congee, corn fritter, smoked trout rangoon, and the mochi ice cream. I thought the food was average. Personally, nothing really stood out to me. Although the food was average, I thought that the presentation of the dishes looked quite nice. Out of all the dishes, I liked the takoyaki the most. I have had takoyaki at a few restaurants and this one was really good! other than that, I thought that majority of the dishes were quite salty. I'm not quite sure if the smoked trout is supposed to be very salty, but it was hard for me to eat. I also noticed that the mushroom kimchi potstickers had way too much sauce. The sauce was very overpowering, and it made it hard to taste the flavors from the filling of the potsticker. For the steamed duck confit dumplings, I thought that it was a really interesting and quite unique concept to top the dumplings with cocoa. Unfortunately, though, I was not a fan of the flavors of the cocoa and duck together. I thought they tasted a little strange together. Something I noticed was that on the event page it said that there would be a bunch of table sauces, but we did not see any when we were at our table? I'm not sure if you had to pick them up when you ordered or something? But either way, we did not mind because none of the dishes needed sauces since they were all very flavorful. I can see myself coming back again, maybe not for this event, but to give their everyday menu a try! read more

You know there's the Safe House downtown, and this is sort of like that in terms of finding it, but totally its own cozy thing once you get there and it's all about beer. You need to be buzzed in. They tell you: Eagle Park, second floor, and, buzz buzz, you are in. This is an old warehouse across from where Horney Goat used to be. Parking is by that bridge that is currently under construction. The place is small and inviting. They have about 8-10 beers on tap and there is an artsy vibe to the place. The owners are into music and writing so that makes sense.
