Where to begin... bottom line, these are untrustworthy people with an attitude who will take your money. There are many other marinas in the area to choose from so stay away from Eagle Point. We were told they would take our steel bottom houseboat and rent us a slip. We paid a shipper, believing the word of Eagle Point, to deliver the boat to Eagle Point. We needed minor work done to satisfy our insurance company and EP agree to do the work. The boat sat for about a month at their marina. After they completed the work they called me to make payment, which I did. No less than an hour after I made payment, Dan, their maintenance supervisor, called me, and with enthusiasm told me they would not take my boat and I had to have it removed from their property. He was very happy to drop this news on me and obviously enjoyed delivering the bad, expensive and inconvenient news. I said, "My boat sat there for a month. You charged me a lot of money and once you had my money, within an hour, you call me telling me you won't take the boat and I have to come get it." He stammered, stuttered and then replied, "Well, I told you I don't like to work on steel houseboats to being with.. so..." Well, he sure made is point by screwing us over, and he did so with glee - after working on our boat and taking our money. A sad little king over a sad little kingdom. They charged us $1,000 to remove our boat from a shipper's trailer (and it sat for a month), put it on stands, and later back on the shipper's trailer. Then, after they didn't keep their word, we, at our added expense, had to have the boat transported elsewhere where we were charged only $440 to have the boat taken off the shipper's trailer, put on stands and later placed in the water. Eagle Point did a very similar action and charged $1,000 for it. Follow the money . . . When I took issue with them not keeping their word, the cost of moving the boat from trailer to stands and back as well as my cost of having the boat transported AGAIN, I was told, "We don't work on steel houseboats" by Connie. Well, they did and obviously do work on them, but only to take people's money with smart-ass glee. They certainly did take mine and with such and attitude. They cost me a lot. Stay away from Eagle Point, Dan and Connie. Sub-standard of character and business integrity. read more

I love the service. Me, my dad, and friend pull up to the Gas Pump Station by Sneaky Peats looking for a restroom. There's two buildings, one connected to the pumps but nobody nearby. We walk toward the other building and a man meets us to let us know there are no restrooms. I wonder what they do when they have to go. Port-a-potties are supposed to be "on the way" ! I've been at Eagle Point Marina for over 12 years. Great marina with a friendly, approachable staff. Dan and his crew did a blister repair and bottom job for me a couple of years ago. I was very pleased. Connie has always been helpful if I wanted to move slips or discuss my account. Very accessible fuel and pump out dock. Great family owned business that gets and supports the boating lifestyle. An added bonus is Sneaky Pete's is just a short walk across the parking lot for music, food and frosty beverages. read more

The rental dock is a POS. No safe way to exit boat onto dock due to gate being tied shut and a rope that has to be hopped over to leave. Resulted in a fall when leaving with all belongings in hand while jumping over a rope that was blocking our exit route. Left leg completely bruised from shin to thigh with staff not caring at all about the experience nor helping us with anything. Will not return nor recommend to anyone, especially if safety is a concern. read more

We have been members of the marina for several years now. We started with a power boat and then brought our sailboat and jet skis over from another marina. The slips are nice sized and priced well. Electric rates are very reasonable too. It is a great community and we love spending as much time out here as possible. The marina staff are friendly and helpful. read more

We got invited to a party out here and I had a really good time out on the lake. The boat was really big and spacious. The Captain and his Shipmate were really nice too! They were very knowledgeable. I thought it was really cool that the boat had its own radio/bluetooth/aux device for music. The boat that we were on even had a grill. I gotta say though, the owners need to take a trip to ikea and make use of the small space they have for the bathroom. Yes, its outrageously tiny, and I get that its a boat, but it could use a little more sprucing up. The bathroom doesnt have a sink, so definitely bring some hand sanitizer or some environment friendly soap, if you are concerned about hygiene. Its a beautiful area and being on the water is relaxing. Good for anyone having a party, or for folks who want to get out somewhere. read more

With several marinas to choose from on lake Lewisville I did a little research before deciding where to keep my boat when moving it from Oklahoma. After almost three years at Eagle Point Marina I can say I am very happy with my choice to dock my boat here. You could not ask for a more friendly and helpful staff. Prices for slip rentals are very reasonable and all the facilities are well maintained. A stones throw from Sneaky Pete's restaurant, I have the option to stay a few days or weeks and never have to look at my truck or drive in traffic. A huge plus... I hate traffic. read more

I can't speak for the marina itself, only the fuel dock. We pulled up low on fuel, with 2 other boats pulling up as well. This was a few minutes before 5:30, not yet 5:30. As soon as we all pulled up an employee inside flipped the sign from open to closed. Almost closing time, but not quite. One of our members, and another from one of the other boats went in and asked if they were out of gas. This is relevant because the last place we stopped was out. Hurricane Harvey has recently created shortages. They were not out of gas. I went inside and asked why we couldn't purchase gas, informed the I had cash if they'd already batched (prematurely) credit cards. I was told by the two young boys the pumps were already turned off, and couldn't be turned on again. I asked them if we ran out of fuel, this was okay with them? They responded by informing me they would re open at noon tomorrow. I asked if they really thought we should wait all night into the afternoon tomorrow for gas. Mind you we didn't pull up after closing time. Before. After watching them flip the sign as we all pulled up, yes, last minute. Two separate people walking up and asking, told no, I went in to plead, told impossible, returned to our boat it was 5:34 according to my iPhone, that sets time itself. No human error involved. I've worked in the service industry for most of my adult life. I know how much it sucks to have customers walk up just before closing. Difference here, they wouldn't be held up for an hour plus, didn't even need to provide service at all, in fact. This was plain shitty. Just before closing, not after. We bought a hydrahoist boat lift and dock box from EPM in 2010 and have rented a slip here since then. The marina did a great job installing the boat hoist and dock box and has kept the docks, parking lot, restrooms, etc. well maintained. The staff is always helpful and friendly. We love the location just off I-35 and we are always able to park pretty close to our dock. A few years ago when the water was too high to use any of the walkways to reach our boathouse, they installed a bunch of temporary walkways to connect our boathouse with other boathouses so we could get access to our boat. That took a tremendous amount of work, but it allowed us to use our boat for the three-months or so that the high water would have blocked our access from shore. read more

I spoke with Connie, and She answered all of my questions (which half of them were Noob Questions of course). She even went out of her way to go to some of the slip options that I was interested in, and TAKE PHOTO's for me, and Send them to my phone. That's a lot of extra work, but she won me over with that. When I got there she took me to all of the options, and explained each of them to me, and helped me with making a choice.
