This place is amazing!!! My whole family goes there to workout and eat. The check-in desk help is always on point.

After a uncomfortable exchange, this is an establish I will not re-visit. A little back ground, our golf group plays here once a year, consisting mostly of Europeans with a few Americans and Me(Asian). Well the guys arrived separately, and started picking up carts from the starter. But I was told by the same starter they only allowed carts to singles in a 3 - some's, and I had to pair up and share a cart with someone. With no one in our group near by, I had to walk to my car and get my equipment. As I came back to our group, I noticed several guys had their own carts. So as the guys are questioning why I had to walk to get my gear and where my cart was, the starter came up from behind and said: "Sorry I didn't know you were with this group." To which I replied: "it's very wrong that the rules are different based on people and that I will not be returning." If I was with an all Asian group would he still have apologized? I didn't think golf course in the Houston surrounding areas still behaved like the rural southern areas. Maybe I'm wrong in interpretation, but this sure feels like the thing Dr MLK hoped to eradicate. read more

Lots to do for the family. There are a lot of activities for kids to choose from. However, you will have to pay for EVERY additional activity you want to join. Decent gym. I wish it offered yoga later in the evening. They offer 5 am classes M-Th and they are decent. Nice ladies in day care. Basketball court is nice and clean, but most of the time only half is open for actual basketball use. Good variety of equipment. We have a membership at Eagle Point and have been good members for a few years. With all the years we have been members we have never had a bad experience. Until now. My daughter had recently came in to workout and was treated poorly by a staff member. Her attitude was uncalled for and she was just all around unfriendly. I don't remember her name. But she was a skinny young blonde maybe early twenties. I only hope this will be resolved, and we can once again enjoy our time at Eagle Pointe. read more

Love this gym. Everyone is very friendly and there are plenty of options for classes. I wish there was a sauna, though!

Not the place to take your children for swimming lessons. The pool manager is unprofessional and lazy ... spends most her time sitting in her office eating and on the phone! The pool is always cold and dirty, not managed well at all! Also, would not eat at the Grill! I found a hair in my food, my daughter found a worm on her salad and I have witnessed non-employees in the kitchen area handling food. read more

Pool staff regularly doesn't show up and so pool can't be open. I'm a four-time Ironman finisher and member of various gyms the last 20+ years. I come from a facility that offered 24 access to a lap pool for adults for less than $50/mos that did not require lifeguards for adults to swim, so I wonder why Eagle Point won't figure out how to offer the same. Maybe this third party enjoy's spending the City's money to pay staff? Other reasons for a low rating: Phone lines send me in loops, with no one to answer and no hours of operation listed. One day I arrived when it was closed, which would have been prevented if phones lines had a recording they were closed or message with the hours. Another day I couldn't reach someone while I called from the pool to find out why it wasn't open (since I didn't want to walk through the lobby in my swim suit) but phones weren't ringing through to the receptionist. Fee is higher than previous facility open 24 hours a day (that had spas, sauna in locker room and complementary use of towels not to mention body soap in showers). Front desk staff inattentive and preoccupied on their personal phones. Regularly I walk in and staff don't greet me b/c they are on their phones. I stood next to the front desk attendant and was unable to get his attention after saying "hello" three times b/c he was looking at Facebook. As a lap swimmer it's frustrating to not having a second hand clock on the pool deck at both ends and both sides of the pool for training, but of course there is plenty of other incidentals crowding space in this small natatorium. So much for mindfulness! Unfriendly pool staff. No-one ever greated me after swimming there over three months. I also saw outdated swim instruction being used to teach children how to "struggle" through the water instead of learn proper swim technique. Too bad!
