So I started going here after trying to avoid working out for about a year. I had done crossfit in the past and fell in love with it but then quit going due to changing jobs. One of the things that I absolutely love about Bayway Crossfit is how welcoming they were and how much they push you. I'm not athletic anymore really and my running is slow. I gained all my weight back that I'd lost years ago so it was starting over from square one for me. Finding BWCF and making myself walk in that day (which was terrifying by the way) was the best decision I had. I found my groove not long after starting back and have been encouraged each step of the way. Each coach has pushed me each class more than the class before and reminded me I can do whatever it is we are doing. Each coach is always available by email and willing to answer any questions you have about membership or about your workouts. Each workout I've said I can't do and am reminded that I can. I may have scaled things but there's always a way to complete the workout. Daily I'm becoming better than I was before. Everyone attending classes there is there for the same reason, to be better than before and every class there is such encouragement from when you get there to when you leave. read more

I've been a member off and on since 2014. Only reason I took breaks from membership was when I was too pregnant to function and immediately postpartum. However, don't let being pregnant or postpartum keep you from signing up! Richard and Cloud are knowledgeable in modifying workouts for pregnancy and postpartum and will even hold your baby/entertain your toddler so that you can get a workout in. My kids love their "Tia Cloud" and "Tio Richard!" Bayway Crossfit is a great community, supportive members and coaches, the atmosphere is fun and clean, and you'll get a good workout in, too! read more

The coaches go out of their way to meet you where you are and make sure you're comfortable with the movements. I joined Bayway Crossfit early in 2020, just before Covid hit us. During the time we couldn't go to the gym, the coaches gave us daily workouts and weekly challenges to do at home. This was great for me, just trying to get into a fitness routine. I am over 50, and go to the Burn class 8 am MWF. I love it! It fits into my schedule, is affordable, and convenient. The coaches are great, very attentive to your needs and help with modifications. They really care, and want everyone to succeed! Bayway is an awesome CrossFit experience! The coaches genuinely care about every individual that walks thru the doors! They are super knowledgeable and get down and dirty on the workouts with the members. If you need help or don't understand one of the movements, they take the time to break it down and show you. This gym is my favorite place to be! You do the workouts as a group, so you're not alone trying to figure out what to do. The coaches show you how to do the moves and make sure your form is right. If there is something struggle with, the coaches always have a modified version of that move. We also do a lot of fun activities together, outside of working out. Super welcoming box! The coaches are really nice and knowledgeable on proper form and execution. You won't feel like an outcast or like you don't belong and the workouts are killer! My husband and I have been going to Bayway for about five months and love it. The coaches and members are always helpful and supportive. I really struggle with coordinated movements and balance (I'm clumsy), the coaches are always there to work me through it. After I am done laughing at myself a little. The coaches at Bayway Crossfit are definitely the best in town. There is so much more instruction on the movements than any other crossfit gym I have been to.
