We really enjoyed our stay here and a nice walk along the lake in the morning. Breakfast was a bummer, extremely limited compared to expectations. Only boiled eggs, yogurt, bagel and fruit. By the time we reached for breakfast around 9 almost nothing was left even though breakfast timings are till 9.30 am. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy some solitude in the midst of nature. There are a few maker break components to a hotel stay: the bed, the bathroom, the TV, and the HVAC system. If one of these sucks, you're gonna have a bad time. I'm glad to share that the Pepper tree goes four out of four in the positive. Comfortable beds, functional heat, and air-conditioning, and each in their own time and place... Functioning, television, and a clean and functional bathroom. On top of that, our room over the last several years of visiting, always features a mini fridge, a microwave, a large closet, boutique style shampoo/conditioner/body wash, hot water, and cold water in the correct location on the dial, and a very clean room. The complementary morning breakfast is outstanding; the gentleman that has managed the kitchen for the last two years, runs a tight ship, and always seems to be training a new staff member with an eye for customer service, cleanliness, and a very positive experience for visitors. Seriously, this is not the el cheapo continental breakfast with pre-bagged, pastries, and small boxes of Captain crunch. My youngest son particularly likes the pancake machine. The hotel has a pool and a hot tub, but honestly, we'd have never used them. The front desk staff is friendly and attentive, and the cleaning staff does a nice job of tidying up your room without that weird feeling of being invasive. We generally visit Omak annually for a boys' fishing trip, and this hotel is the best game in town. As an added bonus, it's literally one minute from the best outdoor outfitter, sporting goods store in town... But that's a different review. We cannot wait to visit again.

I arrived on Friday afternoon at 2:30 and decided to see if my room was available . I lucked out, check in is at 4 but my room was ready. The staff inside the Inn were very welcoming and warm. They directed me to the area where I would be staying. Having not been here before it was a little confusing as the I originally stopped at the clubhouse to check in, but they sort of directed me to the Inns lobby. The rooms(we stayed in the group 600-1000 units) were very spacious, the beds were comfortable, the views were spectacular. My only qualm was that the tv had purple lines going through it and no volume. When it was time to golf or head anywhere all we had to do was call the front desk for a shuttle and someone would be there within minutes. The drivers were all very nice and happy. The courses were great. Quicksand(par 3) was a challenge but tons of fun. Scarecrow was by far the toughest course and gamble was just amazing. Every once in a while an employee would pull up on the course with free Apples and water which who doesn't love that. The Danny Boy restaurant had some great, high quality food, which I would definitely recommend trying it out over the barn. The barn was the only miss here. Food was dismal(most of it was just plain dry), bartenders were decent but seemed lost at times, but it did have a very nice bathroom! There is also a 18 hole putt putt that has an amazing view. You can play it day or night. They sell glow in the dark balls at the front. The course is fun, just like everything else at this place. Being able to park in front of the room is fantastic. I didn't hear any road noise or noise from neighbors as the only other car in the lot was several rooms down from me. Communication was prompt and friendly (hence the rounding up) and my room itself was very clean. The price was surprisingly affordable and the dog fee was low. Even though it was a cold night, my room was toasty and I slept soundly. My only reasons for the -1/2 star are that the drapes in the sitting area wouldn't shut entirely so I would have had to have a clothespin on hand (which I did not) to make the bedroom more private. Also, the sitting room couch was a little scruffy so the "no dogs on the furniture" rule seemed unnecessarily restrictive. Would I stay here again if visiting the local State Parks? Yes, definitely.

It was a little on the sweeter side but had a nice fine dice and was very flavorful. I was shocked to see my friends fries were house cut! Super delicious, wish I had those. Their burgers were also served on toasted ciabatta. The place is no frills and kind of outdated, but I'll gladly come back for a delicious home style lunch.
