The hotel became very crowded quickly, the parking lot was overfull, the breakfast lounge had consistent lines with food/drinks running out ongoing rotation. The main bedroom sits directly against the outside walkway so you hear a lot of noise, if you open the window blinds everybody who walks by can look in & the AC unit cooled the room well but was obnoxiously noisy to run. The location is too far outside the town of Chelan which makes it a long unpleasant walk in the heat. I would still recommend this hotel, ideally not during such a busy weekend.

I love the many vegetarian friendly options, including the fettucine alfredo and stir fried rice. There's a kids menu full of choices for kiddos too. Many of the foods here can be made gluten free, as well. The staff is wonderful, atmosphere beautiful and relaxing, and it's truly the best place to take your visitors to our beautiful lakeshore city.

The service throughout the resort was also excellent. My husband attends a physical therapy conference here every year, and the staff always does a great job taking care of everyone and making the event run smoothly. The only downside would be that the rooms are starting to show their age. As a business owner myself, I completely understand that renovating and updating an entire property is a big financial decision. That said, it does feel like the rooms are reaching the point where a refresh would really elevate the experience. I imagine that will happen eventually. One of the highlights of the stay was the restaurant, which is just steps away from the rooms. We ate there multiple times and every single thing we ordered was really good. The quality of the food was consistently excellent and the servers were kind and attentive. They also had live music on Friday night, and the woman performing when we were there was incredibly talented and made the evening even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a great stay and would absolutely come back again. The location, views, service, and restaurant make it a really special place to visit in Lake Chelan.

All of this made up for some of the negatives... Overall the resort is a bit dated- the architecture gave us a very 70s motel feel with the layout and roof style. The doors to all of the rooms face the parking lot with stairs going up to the various floors. Our door didn't close or lock properly unless we pulled it shut. The interior of the rooms could definitely use a refresh-bathroom tiles, bath and shower, and room carpet need some love (as many others have noted). When we checked in we saw that two of the towels in the bathroom had stains on them which was pretty icky. Nothing you want to see when you're at a hotel, that's for sure. We had a room with a balcony that looked out at the lake and had us enjoying beautiful sunsets. On our second night the hotel got a bit busy and it's definitely on the louder side. The sun goes down pretty late and people were having fun on the beach until it got dark. Conversations from the hot tub and pool areas definitely carry as well. Overall it's a great location with nice amenities that make for a nice summer getaway but my fingers will be crossed that they do some renovations soon to make it worth the high summer prices. Overall, the location can't be beat and for some that may outweigh some of the negatives.

The TV and sound system could definitely use an update, and I don't believe it was a smart TV. The front desk staff were not very friendly. They kept calling us on the day of arrival and again on the day we were leaving, which felt a bit excessive. I did appreciate the complimentary toothbrush and razor, though that was a nice touch. The kitchen amenities and sink area were also very nice and convenient. The biggest drawback was the smoke alarm beeping in the middle of the night. It really disrupted our sleep. I understand maintenance may have needed to come in, but I wasn't comfortable with someone entering while we were out or disturbing our privacy while we were inside I'm a bit particular about that when my belongings are in the room. Overall, the views were the highlight, but due to the outdated features, staff experience, and the alarm issue, our stay fell short of expectations.
