Yes so see it behind the counter seem to be the only one behind the counter to help out customers this also caused problems with the idea that most people that were there were actually there to pick up balloons so.. . Not only were customers waiting to choose and pick out their balloons and also waiting for them to be filled but then had to wait even longer for the one associate to finish with the next balloon order so she could check both people out at the same time after walking the entire store I did only find 1 other associate and that seemed to be somebody facing somebody facing product.

I should have gone with my first instinct and stuck to Safeway since I had good experiences with them in the past. A couple of employees, including the lady manning the balloons were friendly but I only distinguished the rest by uniforms. There was one customer at the checkout with three of us in line that waited and waited while the checkout line started forming. To purchase balloons, choose the latex and take to the checkout to pay before waiting at the balloon station. This was my first and only visit to Party City. I can find better items for less elsewhere and not wait around beyond any reasonable time.

Liked lot of stores when first discovered I purchased more items here which was a long time ago but as time went on the novelty wore off. But they always did have a good variety of Halloween masks at this location. Since this store I imagine isn't going to see another Halloween the best thing to utilize is rake advantage of closing sales. Since the whole company apparently seems to be going under it's a safe bet inventory liquidation sales are going to start happening. And as usual with this kind of phenomenon if you go early when these sales start you will have more variety with some discount as opposed to later where the discount is more noticeable in exchange for less variety.

Oh, how happy to find all the rocket and space party decor for my son's upcoming birthday! I don't live near this store, but my sister's (in law) family lives nearby and shop here for their party goods and special occasion needs!! I ordered online and picked up in-store a few days later. (They give you 7 days or more with a simple call to the store). When you arrive, you can call them for curbside pickup and they will bring your order out to your car! We went inside to see if they had a piñata (last minute idea) for the party. Ken, the manager was so friendly. Greeting customers and genuinely happy to help. I didn't have to wait long at all. He called an employee to open a register and take the next guest to make the line go quicker. He was awesome, quick, friendly, and just what we needed to make sure we had all we needed for a great party. My nephew was with us and the cashier was super sweet. Gave him a balloon, filled it with air, and just made him SO happy! It was the best customer service and experience (getting everything we needed)!! We're so quick…read morewith the bad reviews and critiques of service that sometimes we need to take the time to recognize the good stuff. Went in there with something to return that I bought for a wedding almost a year ago, not expecting much but thinking maybe they'd want them back. Brand new, tags still on but of course no receipt! The gal laughed when she asked if I bought them in September and I said yeah, maybe, of 2013!! She said return policy is 30 days but I'll give you in store credit since we don't have any in stock and we need them... I was shocked! When she said the 30 day thing I knew I'd be puttin' 'em up on ebay but then she graciously returned them. Now why can't more employees look out for their customers like that?? We then proceeded to shop in the well organized, clean store. Items were stocked and available with employees on the floor to help if you needed it. Prices are great (we had just come from the Spirit Store) with really cool clearance stuff mixed right in! We're a small town with not many other places to go for this kind of stuff so it's nice that they take the time to train staff in customer service to keep customers happy, not just coming back.

But I was at Best Buy to pick up something and thought, what the heck, I should take a quick look at this place. Well, I wasn't quick at all. What a fun place! All sorts of flashy geegaws and kitsch and stuff that might be incorporated into adult art projects; board games, and kid projects up the wazoo. Not just a party supply place at all, though it's that too. And it's huge. Even some stuff I previously had to mail-order because it was lacking at Joann's or Michael's, here it was much cheaper at Party City. Really worth a visit to be acquainted with their range, to bare in mind for all future reference.

Now the section that sells decorations and costumes is about half of what is used to be a couple years ago. The staff is always friendly and willing to provide assistance. Prices seem to still be reasonable and stock seems to be available. When I need party decorations and balloons, I am glad this store is still here.
