REALLY great customer service! I was not the easiest customer, and they surpassed my expectations. It is so nice to be able to talk to a real person and not just deal with a website. That said, I also appreciated the email confirmation that was instant and detailed--I knew exactly what to expect, start to finish. Not impressed. I called two months in advance to reserve for an event. First their computers were down and the owner took my info. He told me he'd call me back first of the week. I waited until Thursday and finally called him back. I was told that since I live on Bainbridge and my date was a popular one that I would need to have a budget of $1000 for them to do it. As crazy as it sounds, I gave approval and added different things until I got up close to that number. I kept telling him I want to stay at that $1k price. Asked for a quote and it was 15% higher. Asked him to go back to the $1k number he originally gave me and I got this: "Thank you for your email. My name is Barbara, I am a new event specialist and I wanted to introduce myself. I have reviewed and spoke with Mark about your recent quote, currently we can not accept your offer. Our resources are limited at this moment if anything changes and we schedule another job in Bainbridge Island we could gladly take your offer." Seriously? What a crappy sales experience. by Ken 07/20/2011 I would have given them a zero if I could. Skipping to the end; I saved over a hundred bucks by going somewhere else. We were moving out. We scheduled to go through merry makers. The new place called and told us their had been complications and they could not get our place ready on time. We called the next day and cancelled. When we did they were so rude to my wife and mother in law. Scolded them like they were children and it was their fault. I am sure they are nice when everything goes perfectly; but this is not a perfect world. I am so angry with them right now! It was not our fault and we should not have been treated like that! read more

What a great experience!! Hands down one of the best parties I've ever thrown. Water slide combo bouncy house and the extreme party dome! 100% worth every penny if not more! Guest ages ranged from 3-72 & the toys were enjoyed by ALL!!! The reservation process was simple and the office staff were great to work with. The crew that came to set all the toys up were on time (actually 10 min early) and they were extremely courteous!! They offered suggestions and never made us feel rushed while asking questions and just enjoying the whole process. They were reachable during the event in case of an issue and they were prompt at the end of the event to pick up the toys!! I seriously couldn't have wished for a better experience!!!! I have never personally worked with Merry Makers prior to this event. Knew of them, but hadn't used. I needed a bounce house for an anniversary event at Port Orchard Ford. I reached out to a few businesses regarding rates etc. I just had no idea how much they cost. Merry Makers were the only ones who provided me with quote that I requested and asked that I contact them. Everyone else just wanted me to call. Well, if i had time to call, I would not have sent the request. Their email was clear about the rates, and that delivery may vary by location. I knew we were a little out of the way in Port Orchard, so I completely understood. Once I had the approval I contacted the number that had been provided in the email, and was given to the same person who had sent them email. This may seem like a small thing, but for me it was huge. It is always a little frustrating to have to tell the whole story to a new person. I believe the gal I spoke with may have been in training because I could hear someone asking her questions or possible coaching in the back ground, and she kept putting me on hold. So, having not used them before, I was a little nervous. The reason I bother to even mention this tidbit, is to let you know, that there was no need to be nervous. Everything went off without a hitch. I received a call on Friday to confirm the delivery appointment. Because i was a little out of the way, they asked if they could get there a little early, verified the address and area features, and arrived within 10 minutes of when they said they would. The delivery guy was a delight, friendly, easy to talk to and very accommodating & efficient, he has definitely put up a few of these in his time. Again, because of our out of the way location, he was clear when he would be out to pick it up, gave us all the information we needed to operate the bounce house, and all numbers possible in case their was a problem. We have several events coming up in the coming months, and Merry Makers will my first call for all of them. read more
