Quick and easy trip to pick up balloons from my 13 year old daughter's birthday. Found a couple other items that I didn't intend on buying but bought anyway. Yes so see it behind the counter seem to be the only one behind the counter to help out customers this also caused problems with the idea that most people that were there were actually there to pick up balloons so.. . Not only were customers waiting to choose and pick out their balloons and also waiting for them to be filled but then had to wait even longer for the one associate to finish with the next balloon order so she could check both people out at the same time after walking the entire store I did only find 1 other associate and that seemed to be somebody facing somebody facing product. read more

Purchased a balloon bouquet comprising one round Mickey Mouse and several latex balloons shortly before 10:00 AM and the Mickey (at $5.99) went flat by 1:00 PM. I should have gone with my first instinct and stuck to Safeway since I had good experiences with them in the past. A couple of employees, including the lady manning the balloons were friendly but I only distinguished the rest by uniforms. There was one customer at the checkout with three of us in line that waited and waited while the checkout line started forming. To purchase balloons, choose the latex and take to the checkout to pay before waiting at the balloon station. This was my first and only visit to Party City. I can find better items for less elsewhere and not wait around beyond any reasonable time. read more

This is the second time, dealing with party city, that when I tell them my son will be picking up the ALREADY PAID FOR balloons, they always give him a hard time and won't let him get them. 'No ma'am, he just needs to give us your name' and EVERY TIME, he is denied until he calls me. STOP telling customers one thing and then doing something else! Poor customer service, ALWAYS! Get your policies together, make sure your employees know their job and stop giving customers the run around! read more

A big help for all party needs!!! I've found things that I haven't even thought I'd that made my pay experience easier. From disposable trash cans to jumbo syringes and rolls of plastic table cloths!!! The staff is always attentive and knowledgeable. I will always stop here for all my party and balloon needs. Btw, they even blow up balloons you bring in for a low cost! I was able to drop off balloons I bought on Amazon, paid for helium, and picked them up on the day I needed them. read more

I ended up going there awhile back for my mother birthday and ended up getting help from an associate named Dominique she spoke with a tone of professionalism and when it came to answering my question her responses were short and too the point. It was enjoyable receiving her assistant and pleasant, I look forward to coming back at Party City for party goods. Woot Woot! read more

We bought balloons for our daughter and were told the latex ones would last up to 6 days. They didnt even last one day. Then when I called they said well if you didnt pay extra for "high float" then it's not their fault. Also if we brought the balloons back then they could look at them... what a joke. Never buying balloons from them again and what terrible customer service. read more

I get that I went in during their opening hour and asked for $150 worth of balloons... for that moment. I also get you might be annoyed by that. What I don't get... is that I'm trying to purchase $150 worth of balloons and you can't be bothered with me. Wait, what? I had to go find you and you seemed really annoyed with my request. And then you walked away from my order to check out customers at the register. I had to ask if another staff was available to help fulfill my order. That person still rang up two other customers before I asked if there was another associate to help me. I get that I ordered balloons last minute. None of this should've taken the attitude, eye rolling, or two hours this took. read more

Like usual, I waited until the last minute to get my costume together for a huge holiday event I was the assistant coordinator for. And yes, this was my first big event since I started the position and it's also our biggest event of the year. Of course I chose to be a character that doesn't exactly exist but does... the theme of the party was Holiday Candy Land, so I decided a female version of Mr. Mint would be perfect and easy to put a costume together for. I couldn't have been more wrong or arrogant in thinking it would be so simple. That with my major health condition known as consistent procrastination didn't make for any easy costume throw together. Thank god for Party City and to all the Yelpers who added pictures of the inside the stores they've been too. If it weren't for them, I wouldn't have gone here. The Party City website wasn't nearly as helpful. My trip to Party City had all the makings for my costume and more. It turned out great as did the event! I highly suggest Party City for anyone who is needing anything costume related or is having a theme party for people of any age. Whatever is it, I guarantee Party City will have it or have something similar enough. Thank you party City for making my Female Mr. Mint come to life! read more

I'd give this place a 0 if I could!!! Ladies DONT go here for your gender reveal supplies. I brought a sealed envelope and asked one employee to please open it without telling me what it read and to please get the correct confetti cannon that matched the results. He brings me one cannon and fails to remove the sticker from the outside of the cannon before handing it to me. Apparently they don't train their employees about this important step. Then I get to checkout and I ask the clerk, is there anything on the outside that reveals the gender of this cannon, it's for me. She goes yes this sticker here. I look at her in shock. She goes shoot he forgot to take the sticker off. I'm now just pissed that I just found out the gender of my baby at stupid party city. I proceed with check out and start driving home. I was mad but at least I was getting my girl I wanted so bad and I quickly started getting happy as I drove home. I start to get this gut feeling that I should check the paper results from my doctor and sure enough the idiot gives me the wrong gender cannon. I don't know what the hell he was ready on my paper but it read male. I was so upset I started bawling and turn back around to the store to tell them what they did. I returned the item because at this point it was all ruined thanks to them. I wont ever be back here or probably any party city for that matter read more

BUYER BEWARE! I have always shopped at Party City for Halloween costumes because they are a permanent store front unlike the Halloween stores. On Oct 29 I purchased a $20 top hat for a costume I was putting together. I ended up not needing it so I tried to return it on Nov 1 and was told "all Halloween sales are final" and they would not refund my purchase. There were no signs at checkout about this policy and no one told me this when I made my purchase. When I tried to return the hat, I noticed a note on the receipt saying "no refunds after Oct 23" but since I purchased the item on Oct 29 that did me no good. Needless to say they have lost a long time customer over $20. read more

i was here to get balloons for someone's birthday and i called to see if i could walk in they said yes so i drove 30 minutes and went up to see you couldn't go inside, i called the number again and they said no to going inside and ordering online is the most difficult thing with selecting the same thing multiple times. definitely the worst party city ever. read more

Bought balloons for my daughters birthday and they didnt even last 1 day. Then when called to let them know that they didnt last the amount of time that they said it was our fault and told us to bring balloons and reciept back. No! Its my daughters birthday dont want to deal with limp balloons. Never shopping there again. Poor customer service. read more
