I have called this company on four different occasions and left messages and they NEVER return phone calls. Very unprofessional.

I called to inquire about renting a beverage dispenser for a party I was having. The gal who answered the phone was really helpful. I drove on over and rented the dispenser, which was really easy. When I returned, I rang the doorbell they tell you to ring in the back when returning items. I waited and waited and waited. I ended up going back up to the front to find out that no one was back there. No biggie but they should have the doorbell ring up front if no one is going to be back there. Pretty reasonably priced. The top of the beverage dispenser (lid area) was pretty scratched up and faded and looked a little trashy but no one seemed to notice since the beverage was pretty and poured easily. I would rent from them again. read more

I called up and asked about chocolate fountains for rent I saw on their website. A man called me back the next day and set everything up for me over the phone. He was super helpful and friendly. Quick pick up, detailed explanation and super easy to use. Would 100% reccomend. We did get two fountains and two blocks of chocolate from them. The man explained to make sure they were hot and liquid before adding to the fountains by heating in a microwave and massaging the bags. If he hadnt said that we wouldn't have even brought a microwave to the venue so thank you!! They were both easy to set up and worked just like they should. So glad we decided to do one on each side of the desert table because they were such a big hit! We returned the next day and all is well. Let's do this again sometime! read more

We upgraded to the white, padded, resin chairs for my father in-laws 87th birthday party -- thank God my party was a somewhat casual affair because those chairs were incredibly dirty. My family and I only had time to give them a quick wipe down before guests arrived; I'm thankful I had that time because some of the chairs still had mud and grass clumps stuck on them from their previous rental. I would have been beyond pissed if I had rented these for a formal occasion! read more

We have rented tables, chairs, and other items fro them on multiple occasions. They are always friendly and helpful. We had a reunion planned but had to cancel twice due to COVID. They could not have been more understanding. I will definitely use their services again. read more

Disappointed. I made an agreement with one staff member for tables and chairs in advance and that we would pay cashiers check to have a them delivered for a funeral reception. This would be managed by a 3rd party venue that is always busy. I show up a few days later with the money and the staff said absolutely not and that any deal made earlier was wrong. I had a hard time hearing due to the loud music being played in the show room and staff just simply seemed to not care. When we asked if their manager was available, they became hostile and accused us copping an attitude. We just went elsewhere where staff cared. I hear that store is owned by the local Storeman family who used to own several grocery stores in the area. I knew Ralph Storeman before his death in 2003. He would not be pleased. I have lived in the area since 1977. I will not return and encourage you to do the same. I am usually very positive but this quality of service was exceptionally poor. read more

Just went here and rented 13 tables and 100 chairs from Celebrations. Had a FANTASTIC experience with Cynthia. She spent an hour with us going through every detail and best way we could have our tables set up. She even tore apart their example table and let us try the linens on the tables we were ordering just so we could see how they looked. She measured everything out and got us the most cost effective way to get the look we wanted for my wedding. I am no bridezilla but she wanted to make sure every measurement was right down to the inch and that I was going to be happy with the set up and colors. Cynthia was absolutely wonderful and an absolute pleasure to work with and I would definitely use this company again if all their Event Specialists work like she does. Thank you! read more

We rented tables, chairs and linens for an outdoor wedding. The tables were filthy and had to be washed twice before they could be dressed for the dinner afterward. Not okay!!!!! We certainly didn't need the extra work in wedding preparations. None of the employees cared when we told them either, but they DID want to charge for a missing napkin. Ummm NO. Will be looking for an alternate rental facility for future needs. read more

I visited the Lacey showroom today with my daughter to look at some ideas for linen colors. Both of the gals that were working there were helpful. Shari went so far as to clear a place on the already set up tables so that we could change out colors and explore our ideas. Shari brought up excellent points, pitched in with options we hadn't considered and was overall very pleasant and helpful. We explored ideas for over an hour and had a lot of fun doing it. Shari was able to guide our choices so that it wasn't overwhelming and in the end drafted a quote so that we can factor prices into our decisions. I look forward to working out all the details and for renting from Celebrations for the wedding. read more

TERRRRRRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I highly recommend going anywhere but here for any rental needs you may have. The day before my wedding we were setting up and I was missing all 150 of my napkins. When I called them they were closed, which is fine expect for when they called me back they had absolutely NO apology or sense of urgency to get my napkins to me. My mother in law had to go to the venue on my wedding and set up 150 of napkins by her self 2 hours before my ceremony because they didn't deliver them to me the night before when I had 20 people there to set up. AND I was also short random plates and silverware, so I called and told them that as well. Do you think they apologized or gave me any sort of discount for their mistakes?? No they actually charged me MORE. I called about a $25 extra charge (by the way they just ran my card again WITHOUT my permission) and she said that was for the extra plates I had delivered with my napkins..well I had to get extra plates and silverware because they didn't even bring me 150 to begin with!! When I called to ask them about it all the lady kept saying to me was "well they got delivered to you didn't they" over and over again with ATTITUDE! I told her I would not be using them again and she said "great have a nice day". WOW, they do NOT care about making their customers happy or FIXING their mistakes. Seriously probably one of the WORST customer service experiences I have ever had. My parents were planning to use them for my brothers wedding but will be going elsewhere for their needs because they were the absolute worst. An overall joke of a business. read more

The pick up was easy from celebrations. However, I ordered 25 black chairs for a birthday party I was hosting, for my son. When I got there, they only had 21 black, and supplemented them with 4 white. Thankfully for ME it wasn't a huge deal. But if it had been for a wedding or something more formal, would have been very disappointing for sure read more

Really lacking Customer Service....they have the items you need to rent but they make it almost painful to rent/return through them. Guessing this is a management problem...not empowering employees to make decisions and deliver for the customer. It's too bad, as they are pretty much the only gig in town and it's a disappointment. read more

We, unfortunately, did not have a good experience with Celebrations. After getting quotes for many rental companies, we decided to go with Celebrations for their unbeatable prices. However, additional costs were tagged on throughout the process. For example, we would either have to pay for an additional day or pay for an exact pick up/drop off time. If you don't have an exact time, your rentals can arrive anytime between 8am and 6pm (or later I was told over the phone). We ended up paying for exact pick up and drop off times and Celebrations was between 15-20 minutes late on both. Everything we ordered also was conveniently nonrefundable, so we couldn't cancel. We also didn't experience great customer service. When we called Celebrations, our person of contact often had an irritable affect making us as a customer feel like a burden or annoyance. We ordered a dance floor and was told it was our responsibility to cover the dance floor with the free tarp if it rains -if not we would have to pay $900 a square if there was any damage. Sadly, the guys dropping off the dance floor said there wasn't a tarp listed on the itemized list (it was listed on our copy though), so no tarp. We ended up covering the dance floor with whatever we could find and even slept on the dance floor in our tent to protect it from the rain. I wish things had gone better with Celebrations because I think there was the potential for this to be a smooth transaction. It just wasn't. read more

We rented 12 8' long tables and 125 chairs for an outdoor wedding. The tables and chairs were delivered as promised. Then we got a look at them. They were filthy. One table looked like someone had disassembled a car engine on it. One table was broken and could not be used. Two others were also close to not being usable. It took us 3 hours of hard scrubbing to make the tables and chairs usable. When we called to complain we were told that they had advised us to use table cloths, and that they had plastic table cloths for sale. That's not the point, these tables were beat up and filthy. The chairs weren't so bad, but each one did need a wet wipe down to be usable. To the stores credit, they removed the charge for the broken table, and reduced the rental fee by 10% for the inconvenience. But still, I won't be back, and I cannot recommend this business to others. read more

My fiance and I are planning our wedding and we were looking for archway rentals. My fiance had called the store and spoke to the gentleman who worked there (not the one with long hair, but the short hair and glasses). On the phone he seemed really nice and he was eager to help us and gave us lots of advice. He then invited us to come into the store and look at some of the products. Today we traveled from Shelton into Lacey to get to the store, and when we arrived the gentleman was rude ,he ignored us and played on his phone and his only answer was, " just look online. You can find all that information online." when I said, "okay thanks." and was ready to leave, he then called another worker to take us up and show us the archways. This gentleman was kind, and very helpful! But, when we went back down to the front, the gentleman was again on his phone and gave short, insufficient answers. I was really upset, and will not be doing business nor recommending this place to anyone!! A lesson in customer service could be afforded!! read more

We got married on a Saturday. Celebrations came out to deliver the tent on Friday. Dan, and Lane arrived to set up the tent, then both of them had to go pick up a sledgehammer. Over an hour later they returned. Then Dan, the "Manager", had to leave again to go get zip ties. We went to set up the next day and after setting up the tables hundreds of tiny spiders started dropping on all the guests, set up people and the cake. After the ceremony we had to have our guests move the tables, chairs, and the food tables and cake outside the tent. The beautiful lighted backdrop we got and the tent could not be used at all. We called the company on Saturday. They told us to take pictures and video and called on Monday. I called on Monday, and the "Manager", Dan, said "it is not our problem. We are not saying you did not have a problem it is just not our problem. They set up the tents and fulfilled the contract so the spiders in their tents were not their problem." The customer service is awful and unprofessional. We were lucky that it did not rain and we could be outside the tent. The chairs were dirty and we had to clean them. It was awful to have this special day ruined because of the spiders that were in the poles, or on the canvas. These people will never get our business again. I will be sure to tell all of the attorneys, and business I work with not to use them. read more

I had a fantastic experience with Celebrations last weekend! My parents rented seven 8' long tables and 40 chairs for an outdoor wedding reception. Pick-up and drop-off went smoothly (we chose not to have the items delivered), and all were in great condition. I would absolutely recommend this business to others! read more

I have used this company since they were located in Tumwater YEARS ago... They are pretty much the only place local you can get some of the items. It is hit and miss, you can reserve stuff and it will (probably) be there, and it (might) be the right ones, matching or the color you selected. Stuff isn't in the greatest shape, it is a rental company and some people do abuse stuff that does not belong to them. Recently rented an item that had a plug on it... it was used gently (as we do with everything we use), no real check in or check out policy for damage, wanted 5 times the value of the item because it was "damaged", the grounding portion of the plus was supposedly broken off/missing. As I was the one to use it, (including setting up, cleaning and packing back for return) I know nothing was done to the cord, since there is not real check in/check out policy, I would watch VERY carefully for any additional charges. read more
