Hands down my favorite place to eat at when it comes to tacos and nachos! Their meat, especially the Al pastor, is so juicy and tender. Service here is great as well and you can also call ahead of time to order food so you don't have to wait. I love ordering their al pastor nachos because the chips tastes so fresh. The ambiance here is quick and casual type of food with a welcoming feel to it. Love coming here because of the food and the service! Definitely a place to try out for yourself. read more

this has been my go to place for a quick meal. my favorite is the potato taco!! you can get 3 for $6.50 and it comes w a lot of salsa and veggies. so filling!! the people are always so quick and so nice. always jokes around with me and says "be ready in 25 seconds" lol it's so cute. but honestly they're really fast. parking could be challenging since they're a truck and you have to find street parking but it's not toooo bad. read more

Absolutely unacceptable. There is no reason to eat here with all of the Mexican food LA has to offer. What they call carne asada is below Taco Bell grade meat and preparation. The laziest cheapest ingredients. The beans tasted canned. This place is awful. read more

This taco spot is one of the greatest taco joints around here. Their service is amazing and fast. The attitudes of the workers are super welcoming. Highly recommend the Al pastor nachos or the carne asada burrito but honestly can't go wrong with anything that you order here. Wow I was surprised by a deserted taco truck. Not going to lie I was skeptical but I'm personally telling you it was worth getting over my thoughts and trying it. The taco truck I believe is brand new but this location has been here. With an A rating- the cleanliness really shows and I appreciated that. Hope it stays that way! Tacos are 1.35 each. The tortillas are soft and meats that I tried were flavorful. The soft tortillas really sold me. We got tripas (ask for it crispy), buche, pastor and asada. Side note that the pastor does not include pineapple here. They also do NOT carry cabeza and lengua. The green sauce has a good flavor and kick. Some other options are potato tacos, all meat burritos, carne asada fries and/or nachos. They also have the OLE!dispenser for Jamaica and Horchata. I would come here again even though it's street parking only. They're open until midnight some days so if you're in the area- this is a pretty solid taco spot with nice service. read more

It's time I give my flowers to Eagles Tacos, the trusty neighborhood taco truck that just knows how to get it done!! They are the only one in the area that knows how to cook tripas just the way I like it, which is super dorado y crujiente! I recently had a strong craving for a torta, which never happens and I couldn't decide on what meat I wanted... asada or tripas?! Do I get one of each?! Then it hit me, I can do both in one torta. I placed the order over the phone, and I'm sure the guy who took my order was baffled by my monstrous request. I picked up my order and took my first bite and it was HEAVEN!!! They nailed exactly what I had been craving for all day. Aside from the delicious food, the guys there are always nice and are never stingy with their salsas. Been eating here for almost a year and I can definitely say that this is THE place. When I say THE place then that means you gotta take yo stinky butt away from other nasty food trucks and eat here. Burgers are a solid 8/10 and no less. They are big ass burgers for what they are priced at compared to others. Burrito is a solid 8/10 and no less with its good price. Tacos are no less than an 8.5/10. I own a pet grooming business on Colorado and whenever we have meetings with all the business partners together, we get some food from here. Guess what? $40 feeds 5 people if you ain't a fat one! LOL. Anyway jokes aside, perfect service, perfect ambiance, perfect food. This place is really good. I'm from out of town and was watching some shows on street foods in LA and decided to look up some places. I settled on this place and did not regret it! I literally was so hungry, I got 6 tacos for myself at $2 each, but they're not that small as it seems. The sytrofoam plate is humungous so the tacos are actually decent size and packed with just enough meat. The guys working the truck were super friendly and awesome. Firstly, I rarely eat out, but when I do, it is mostly for a friend or my lack of preparation. Nevertheless, before eating out, I pray, try to make healthier choices, and hope for the best. That said, last night I took a breezy drive through the evening drizzle to "Eagles Tacos". I did my online research earlier and decided on some meat-free, dairy-free nachos . They were bombastic !!! The versatility of the thicker, thus hardier, and tasty chips set the dish off. The robust chips were layered with a perfect portion of smooth--not drippy or runny--nicely seasoned refried beans, and topped with a thin layer of zesty, finely chopped pico de gallo. The two medium hot green sauces provided in my takeout bag turned an already delish meal into a homemade meal after my own heart. This morning, when opening my refrigerator and flipping the lid on my night before's nachos, the chips were still intact having only softened to the texture of fresh homemade chilaquiles. YUMMY, two meals, two dishes in one. Vegetable oil, fresh and flavorful ingredients, and service with smiles all around, a plant-baser's treat indeed! First time here and I loved the tacos. I had asada taco, Tripas and buche. I've had tripas tacos elsewhere and they've been too soft and chewy. Here it was crunchy and delicious. My favorite was the chile. It was spicy and so tasty. I will be returning to try the steak fries. read more

Food 5/5: I don't even know where to start with this place. Everything is sooooo good!!! I live in Glendale and am always on a hunt for some good asada fries and this is the perfect place. I like my al pastor more than my asada so I got al pastor nachos...yup! You heard me right! They have nachos!!!! And I got asada fries! Stopped on a whim because I was dying for carne asada tacos and this truck hit the mark! Steak was tender and flavorful, and since I cannot resist lengua when it's on offer, I had one of those too: let me just say, phenomenal. Both red and green salsas are delicious in their own way. To be honest, I'm furiously upset about Eagles Tacos. After having a chicken burrito, less than 2 hours later I was doubled over from serious food-poisoning. I've eaten on my overseas travels, and tried food out from street vendors and never had an issue. Their staff is friendly, and the service is quick. Maybe a little too quick in my opinion. I had to call in sick to work on a Friday, and I spent the entire weekend trying to recover from serious pain and diarrhea. It was more than how ridiculously spicy the food was, it was negligence. Needless to say, beware of uncooked meat and dirty food handling. Bummed by Eagles Tacos. read more

I stopped by to grab a burrito before meeting up with a friend down the road. I'd been craving a burrito all week. I was going to be in the eagle rock area and, in my search for burritos, I came across this spot on yelp. It totally exceeded my expectations! This is the best burrito I've had from a taco truck/stand. It only had meat, beans, rice, cilantro/onion, and salsa, but it was miles better than any burrito I've had with the same basic ingredients. The salsa in the burrito was delicious and had a nice bite to it. I'm normally not the biggest fan of beans, but there was a ton of refried beans in this burrito and they were actually amazing. The meat was great too. Every bite had a great balance of all the ingredients and the burrito was really filling. It was freshly prepared and came out super fast! All for just 6 bucks (cash only). My fav taco truck, ever!!! If you haven't tried their mulitas, you're doing yourself a great injustice. Their meat isn't fatty or chewy like other trucks and tastes fresh. My go to's are mulitas and asada fries but I do enjoy their tacos and burritos as well. Since trying Eagles Tacos about two years ago, I now have trouble going elsewhere because it simply isn't up to par. P.S. If you can't handle the heat, ask for salsa on the side because it's definitely spicy. read more

All dishes were shareable and there were certainly some remarkable ones. Starting with my most favorite the ceviche bites (I can't tell you exactly what it's called on the menu, but it was one bite that left you enticed for more!) if you like fish, certainly a must. My second favorite, the roasted rainbow carrots (the salsa macha was palatable all by itself!!). Third favorite, grilled chicken (again, not sure the name on the menu but, it was so juicy and perfect with the housemade tortillas). Other menu goodies, the steak (ribeye bites) tortillas with salsa/guacamole, carnitas (looked good), cactus appetizer, and cheese (and cactus?) quesadilla. Unfortunately, I think the menu was somewhat curated for the private party but I CERTAINLY think it's worth exploring. A lively atmosphere to add to it all!

The building is an original piece of the City's history, boasting a menu that features their famous burritos that vary in size from a regular to a huge party size beast that can feed several. I tried the Hollenbeck and the Okie burritos on two separate occasions via pick up, as aforementioned, the service was quick, convenient and the pick up window is seamless, parking is located next to the structure and I haven't had problems getting there. Hollenbeck was good but I definitely enjoyed the Okie burrito more, I ordered the "original" size once and didn't seem to learn my lesson the second time, these burritos can feed two in Original size. They offer a "Mini" version which would be satisfactory for one person. My favorite thing about these burritos is how "home-made" they are, the salsas and meats are fresh and taste like they came out of an abuelitas kitchen. I still need to try the crunchy tacos and nachos which look great, I recommend trying this classic establishment at least once if you're in the area.
