The truck

4++ great taco truck in the Highland Park/Eagle Rock area (I think). I can't remember why I bookmarked this place, but I had it on my radar and it was really close when we were leaving a bar in that area. It's great because this truck stays open a later so you are able to get your taco truck fix late night leaving a bar, etc. The guys running this truck were cool and it seems like a popular place because a lot of other people had the same idea we did on a Thursday night. I got my go to which is two tacos and mulita. Everything was so delicious, especially since it really hit the spot after drinking. Definitely a great place to grab tacos or burrito in the area.

Decent taco truck in Highland Park. Cash only. Open til 1am so a good late night option for some munchies or drunchies. The tacos are decent street tacos. I liked the carnitas and al pastor. Besides the basic tacos, burritos, and quesadillas they also do tortas and nachos so it's definitely worth repeat visits. Their red salsa also has decent heat to it. They're usually parked in front of 7-eleven (Ave 52 & Fig). There's some street parking or there's a few spots in the 7-eleven lot.

Birria tacos so good! The consume was flavorful, warm and so good for dipping! Beware of their salsas! They are hot hot hot! This meal made me sweat in the heat of LA summer but it was so worth it! I would definitely stop by this spot again! It's in the Silverlake neighborhood on a side street - kind of hard to find unless you are setting out to visit this spot or are a local area resident. I took these to go up to the Griffith Observatory picnic table with some guests we had in town. Win + win! We found seating, had an incredible view and enjoyed some delicious authentic tacos!

Bruh Viva tacos Azteca has some of the nost delicious & super Mexican as hell flavor "Carne Asada". I was having my lunch rather late and I made my choice today based entirely on smell. I didn't look at prices and I didn't ask for nothing on the side. I order a Carne asada burrito as the steak was my I stopped. I will.for sure cone back soon and try the Carne asada in every form available on the menu of Viva tacos Azteca. IF YOU ARE HERE ON A BEAUTIFUL TOURIST VISIT PLEASE TRY THIS FOOD. YOU WILL BE AMAZED.

Maybe if you go more towards the houses you can find residential parking. The area is very nice, posh, and hipster. The bagels are a little bit on the pricier side at an average of $16 or so. I guess it's more like a sandwich with bagels as the bread but bagels are like $3 each at the grocery store. The egg, bacon, and sauces were fantastic. They were so packed with flavor and were warm. My only gripe was they didn't really have many options with no cheese on the menu. I asked for one without cheese and maybe they misheard me but my bagel had melted American cheese on it. It was kind of easy to remove but messy and my hands were super pokey afterwards. Great little sandwich nonetheless. It's moderately filling. Bottom line/TLDR: not many lactose free options but solid bagels.

These were some bottom tier bagels, weird and doughy and I even like doughy foods. Ordered our usual BEC and it came with tomato, and the classic lox (Lox Deluxe). Was basically $30 for two sandwiches and not remotely worth it for the flavor and quality of the bagels themselves. Service was fine, not rude but not friendly either. This would actually be my absolute last choice for bagel sandwiches in LA.

DO NOT COME TO THIS TRUCK!!!…read more I chose this truck late night last night out of 3 other Mexican food trucks on Eagle Rock Blvd and I regret it all the way. I would give 1 star but I'll give 2 just because the Asada Fries I ordered were decent. But for the prices they have??? Oh h*ll no. Who do they think they are charging people 21$ for a medium box of food. On the truck the price of the fries said 17.99!!!! That's already a lot but I decided to order them feeling like spending money for a good meal and when I order with the guy at the register you can just tell he wants your money. Obviously their business isn't going so well so they have to overprice. After reading the price on the truck the guy says ,"that'll be 21$". I'm in disbelief but I'm not cheap and have pride so I just gave it to him. These people are not for the community at all and I do not recommend. You'll be better off going to Leo's taco truck or the place in front of target. Listen to the reviews or you'll be money grabbed like me. I don't usually write reviews but I cant let that slide again. Not to mention the fact that I couldn't even get a fork with my meal and the make you get the sauce yourself. With prices like that you'd think they cater to their customers a little more. I promise you they don't care. Do not eat here.

There's an interesting Santa statue on the store to the right of this truck that I always think about. All of the taco meats are good. I don't even like cabeza, lengua, or chicharron but it is delectable here. They have pollo, carne asada, and carnitas too. There's also a pineapple beverage, horchata, or Coke cans to drink. I know it's not going to be the same type of feel good experience of going to your local taqueria where some lady reminds you of your aunties and makes you feel like you're at home... But I don't think it's too much to ask to be acknowledged when you come to pick up your order.
