Cold tacos same as the first round.
    David D.

Nooooo! Giving this place a second chance. Man I regret it. I order asada tacos and they give me Birria, all the tacos were cold as f! Man I hate cold tacos. Why would a person want to give someone a second chance??? Well I came here thinking maybe the other day I came it wasn't a good day. Now is worse and I was planning to get them for an event. When I ask the girl if they do catering she was like uuhhhh?? This guy have 5 food trucks and they are all the same shi$& he must be doing money laundering

I've been to Charlie's Tacos several times, and the food is always amazing especially the birria ramen and quesadillas. However, my last two visits were ruined by rude service from the same gentleman. Most recently, I went to pick up an Uber Eats order, and despite my order being ready, I was ignored for several minutes. (There was only one other person waiting) When I was finally helped, he was dismissive, unresponsive, and made the experience needlessly unpleasant. The food is great, but the poor service makes me hesitant to come back.

    2 birria tacos, consomé

Ordered 2 tacos de birria, squirt and small consommé as usual. Paid $11 and waited 30 mins for this mess without even onions and cilantro. Had to remind the clerk for my drink as well. I was watching the cook move very slowly and serve about 4 Uber Eats orders before the 4 people who'd been in line for 30 mins. Bunk.

    My order

One of the worst experiences I ever had . I ordered this with uber eats I literally ordered3 burritos for my parents and I my dad was eating his burrito and he bit into something hard. He thought it was a bone and tried to brush it off but instead it was a piece of glass and he cut his mouth open. he then decided to take the piece of glass out of his mouth and continue to find another piece . I've tried to reach out to them multiple times they do not answer the phone. Do not come here. The food is literally deadly. I will be going there tomorrow to speak to them in person and they will be hearing from my lawyer.

    All my tacos

(La Puente taco truck) Julio and Betty great crowd great atmosphere very informative of their menu and Betty was amazing and very helpful.

This taco truck is absolutely amazing! If you're looking for delicious and affordable eats, this is the spot. They've got $1 tacos that are honestly some of the best I've had--packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. You can't beat the price or the taste! Huge shoutout to the incredible staff, especially Betty at the La Puente location. Her energy, friendliness, and service were on point--she really went above and beyond. Betty, you were phenomenal and absolutely deserve a raise

Highland Park's Best Carnitas -- A True Neighborhood Gem!…read more This taco truck will always have a special place in my heart. I grew up in Highland Park, and my parents used to bring me here as a kid. It's one of those spots that instantly brings back memories the moment you pull up -- same truck, same incredible flavors. Their carnitas are hands down the best I've ever had -- flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right every single time. I've tried plenty of places over the years, but nothing compares. Ive always loved their burritos and tortas, but lately I've been hooked on their nachos, which are a newer menu addition and absolutely delicious. I'll even have my boyfriend drive me all the way from where I live just to get them! What makes this place truly special is its consistency. The food quality, the service, and even the prices have stayed solid throughout the years. In a neighborhood that's changed so much, it's comforting to know this hidden gem is still holding it down and keeping that authentic Highland Park flavor alive. They're parked right in front of a 7-Eleven, which makes parking super convenient -- definitely a plus in this area. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. Always great food, always good vibes. This spot will forever be one of my favorites.

It's a taco truck and there are street parking or close by business parking for quick stop. I ordered carne asada burritos to go. After a few minutes, I grab my food and went back to my work. When I took the first bite, I was confused and disappointed. The meat doesn't look like carne asada, I believe it's carnitas. I was the only customer when I order and how could they possibly got it wrong? Also burritos was on dry side and portion is small compared to my regular spot.

Maybe if you go more towards the houses you can find residential parking. The area is very nice, posh, and hipster. The bagels are a little bit on the pricier side at an average of $16 or so. I guess it's more like a sandwich with bagels as the bread but bagels are like $3 each at the grocery store. The egg, bacon, and sauces were fantastic. They were so packed with flavor and were warm. My only gripe was they didn't really have many options with no cheese on the menu. I asked for one without cheese and maybe they misheard me but my bagel had melted American cheese on it. It was kind of easy to remove but messy and my hands were super pokey afterwards. Great little sandwich nonetheless. It's moderately filling. Bottom line/TLDR: not many lactose free options but solid bagels.

These were some bottom tier bagels, weird and doughy and I even like doughy foods. Ordered our usual BEC and it came with tomato, and the classic lox (Lox Deluxe). Was basically $30 for two sandwiches and not remotely worth it for the flavor and quality of the bagels themselves. Service was fine, not rude but not friendly either. This would actually be my absolute last choice for bagel sandwiches in LA.
