Oh man we used to love this place. Hate updating my review to remove stars but our meal today was awful. The meat was so dry we couldn't eat it. I was affraid it would get stuck in my throat. We did love the HUGE okra portion. Even the sausage was dry. Ribs were pretty dry as well. Fries were like rubber and underdone. Deviled eggs just okay. We love Earl's, frequently visiting the locations on Broadway and on Western. The experience on Memorial wasn't delightful. Ordering at the counter without being able to sit down at a booth and think about the menu was a bit unnerving. Too much to read with people right behind you... Customer service was meh. Honestly, the food was just meh. Cooked decently but extremely bland... no seasonings. I guess I could use their ONE bbq sauce but then my entire plate would taste the same. Man, just kinda meh and blah all the way around ... and disappointing for the price point. We won't be back to this location. read more

When we're in OKC we love to meet our best friends here and enjoy some yummy BBQ. Us ladies usually get the Big Girl salad with chopped brisket and blue cheese dressing and the guys get whatever their palate is craving. They never disappoint and we all leave feeling satisfied. Never had a problem with the service and they usually have a short line to order. The atmosphere is always lively and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a casual get-together. My wife and I both stoped in here for brunch after church. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. The service was fast. That is the good part. The brisket was dry and un-flavorful. We had the deviled eggs and mac and cheese sides. they were well below average of what I would expect from a restaurant. We have scratched this place off of our list of places we will return to. There are way to many good to great BBQ places in and around OKC...this place is not one of them. read more

And the license plates peppering painfully white walls along with bad counter service brings this location down another notch...But that $7 smoked bologna sandwich (must ask topped with coleslaw) along side a giant pile of curly fries or fried okra is still one of the best deals around for a satisfying bite. Prices on the rest of menu are just too high for the quality. And be sure to avoid their disappointing dry sliced brisket. read more

I used to live across the street from the western location of earls so and now I'm closer to May and memorial... going to this location is so convenient! Love the easy highway access location. Also, this location is always super clean and never a wait. Often times I'll even order to go. Be sure and sign up for their loyalty point system it lets you cash in on $ off your next meal. Made an online order for lunch from Earl's, when i came in to pick it up it was ready right away. I was disappointed in this rib dinner I ordered from Earl's during lunch. The ribs were extremely tough and had no flavor. Even the potato salad seemed to lack seasoning? The only thing that I enjoyed were the baked beans. This meal cost $18 and it wasn't at all enjoyable, will not be returning to buy ribs from Earl's in the future. read more

I recently had Earl's BBQ and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm a big okra fan and Earl's didn't disappoint. My ribs had plenty of meat, not like some places that one must scrape off something with your teeth. Very flavorful. The hot links were, well, HOT! Earl's Rib Palace is a solid choice for some good ole barbecue. We were craving some and decided to go with Earl's and get our fix! My boyfriend ordered the Earl's Binge and got ribs, brisket, a hot link and smoked bologna. I went with The Big Earl and got smoked turkey and jalapeno sausage. It was fun to sample all the different meats! If you like spicy, I recommend trying the hot link over the jalapeno sausage. It had a nice kick! Anyway, I wish there was an option to give half points on Yelp. I consider Earl's more of a 3.5 over a 3. It truly met our BBQ needs! The only reason I didn't rank it higher is because it probably wouldn't be a hangout spot for me. If you're craving some barbecue, I would absolutely recommend giving Earl's a try! read more

Ordered a loaded baked potato. It was over cooked and dried out. It was obvious from the outside but clearly, when they cut into it there's no excuse it ended up on a plate. I ate it because it was $12. I mentioned it to the guy that brought it out, just to let him know they should pull the rest if they were also in this condition. No apology and no thank you for the heads up! While I was at the register to tell them about the overcooked potato, another patron brought up a handful of fat wrapped in a napkin. I moved to Oklahoma City about a year ago from Tampa, Florida. I hadn't found any barbecue that I really enjoyed. But I went to Earls Rib Palace on Memorial Road by MacArthur and I loved their food. The ribs are excellent and the chopped brisket was great! Barbecue is so expensive nowadays so you want to make sure that you get something really good and I did! The last time I got 6 this time I got seven skinny dry little wings. I order this all over town and get 10-12 plump juicy wings everywhere else. The place is nice and clean. Staff is kind and professional. My first time into this location. I ordered take out and appreciated the complimentary coke while I waited. Disappointed that the baked potatoe was microwaved more than once, in my opinion. We recently had Earl's cater a family gathering of 20. They were wonderful and very patient with the multiple changes I made trying to please the group. When we arrived for pickup, they brought it out to our car and helped load it. To say the food was delicious is not quite the word---The ribs and brisket were tender and moist. Beans looked dark but when you took a bite they were cooked/smoked to perfection. We ordered deviled eggs, they disappeared! My husband and cousins loved the cobbler. Only complaint from my crew---I didn't get ice cream to go with the cobbler! Overall, Earl's won our hearts and our appetites --we will return!!! read more
