Service is always great! Manager is nice and friendly. I kinda laugh when asked if it's our first time in. Guess we assume we are remembered since are older and eat out alot. Chopped Brisket sandwich is the way to go. Lots of already sauced meat. We still add more when eating but it has great flavor. Had Good Green Beans this visit but seems so juicy don't get alot. So if your hungry, order a different side. Missed the Cheesy potatoes by one day! Peach cobbler was great this time, sweet and had some crust. Special sides change so does make it different each visit. Not a fan of thier potato salad. Husband had ham sandwich also and very good. read more

As a 20-year veteran of the United States Air Force, I've had the privilege of dining all over the world, but few places have ever touched me the way Mission BBQ did. My wife and I decided on a whim to give it a try, and from the moment we walked in, we knew this was something special. The entire restaurant radiates respect and gratitude toward our U.S. Military, First Responders, Police, and Firefighters. Walking past the MIA/POW Remembrance Table nearly stopped me in my tracks. Many restaurants roll out something like that only on Veterans Day, but here it stands year-round--an everyday reminder of those who never came home. For me, that display was more powerful than words could ever express. We arrived just before the dinner rush and were greeted warmly at the counter by Luis, the manager. We let him know we were first-timers, and he gave us the rundown. I ordered the Brisket Sandwich with Baked Beans, while my wife went with the Chopped Brisket Sandwich and Freedom Fries. We also both chose the Hero Cup--a small but meaningful way to support the same men and women honored on these walls. The food? Fantastic. My Brisket Sandwich was moist, smoky, and full of flavor, and the Baked Beans had just the right kick. My wife's Chopped Brisket wasn't quite to her liking, but when Luis came by to check on us, I shared our honest feedback. Sadly, I forgot to take pictures of our food. To our surprise, he later returned with a fresh Brisket Sandwich just for her--completely unprompted. That kind of service speaks volumes about the pride and care this place puts into everything. Mission BBQ has only been open since January 2025, but they've already earned a loyal customer in me. The combination of great food, outstanding service, and unwavering support for those who serve makes this restaurant more than just a place to eat--it's an experience. Wasn't sure if they were going to be just as good, but they sure delivered! Except they didn't have the Broccoli Salad, they said it was a seasonal feature item. I say make it permanent it was that good! We got their Corn on the Cob seasonal side instead and it was okay. Their Moist Brisket is so juicy and tender. This is what we always get for sure when we're here. The Baby Backs were fall off the bone succulent. The service is always friendly and professional. There's an older gentleman in the back who cuts all the meats. We were watching him and he knows how to handle the cuts. My first two experiences at Mission BBQ were amazing so I was really looking forward to getting some good ribs and mac & cheese, but it was not the same as the first two trips. My ribs were tiny and didn't have a whole lot of meat on them and the mac & cheese Did not have the homemade taste like they did the first time. The food was amazing! I was especially impressed with the smoked salmon, it had incredible smoke flavor that blended well with the seasoning. The staff was super nice and it was very quiet and peaceful. The only complaint I have is your side dishes. They are SUPER small for what you charge. They're approximately 3-4oz of did, if that. Three to four fork/spoons and it's gone. It was half full of the liquid from the veggies. Please give us a bit more solid and less liquid for those side dishes. read more

The best BBQ experience my husband and I had thanks to Gracie and the General Manager, Karen! Food was AMAZING! Thanks to Gracie, she gave us great suggestions from the menu. Glad we took her recs because they were so delicious!! Gracie was incredibly sweet and patient with us. We ordered the Meat Sampler (ribs, brisket, and pulled chicken), the Black Plate Special, sausages, mac & cheese, creamy corn, and green beans. Everything was good and our favorites are the brisket and the Black Plate Special. My mouth is watering as I write this just thinking about how good it was. The entire restaurant is super clean and well organized. I was impressed with how clean the restroom is too! Karen definitely goes above and beyond as the general manager. She went out of her way to greet and welcome us as she heard it was our first time. All of the staff we encountered are super friendly and welcoming as well. Came here for lunch with the family ordered two 3 meats and two pulled pork sandwiches. The ribs and pulled pork and brisket was moist and had good tender flavor. It was fun trying all the different sauces and how each sauce compliments the meat. Mac and cheese was decent, Collard greens need some work was flavorless. Mission BBQ definitely has a mission. As soon as you walk in you can see all the memorabilia from the various armed forces and first responders which is pretty cool. The prices were not bad for BBQ which generally isn't the cheapest of meals but they don't scrimp on the portions. I got sliced brisket and the homemade sausage. Both were very good and I don't know what exactly was in the sausage meat wise but it tasted GOOOOD. They offer several different varieties of BBQ sauces I think 8 or 9. Try them all they all have their own take so im sure you can find something that you will like. Service was fast and friendly no complaints there. I would like to see maybe a few more meat choices like venison or bison I think that would be awesome. read more

What a great place! My wife and are here and loved the military/veteran decor. The food was excellent and was well flavored. I had the two meat plate with lean brisket and traditional sausage. As soon as you walk in there's a walk up counter to place your order and then you wait for your name to be called. I need more than 5 stars just for this review! The food was delicious! We had the chopped brisket moist (lots of marbling and more fat but there's an option for lean), turkey, and jalapeño and cheese sausage with Mac n cheese, baked cheesy potatoes, and green beans for sides. Everything was equally delicious. There were tons of sauces to choose from and we tried them all. The cornbread was just good old fashioned cornbread that was a perfect compliment to the meal as it wasn't sweet or spicy. We rounded out the meal with blueberry cobbler that was the perfect ratio of berries, crust, and sweet crumbles! I took no pics of the food just because we ate it too fast! The service was amazing as well! They did a great job of explaining the options and checking on us just the right amount. They even brought around a sample to the table. The decor was very patriotic in a classy way with lots of real prints of military things. The bathrooms were clean as well. Came here with a group of friends, and I was impressed from the start. The parking lot and exterior was clean and inviting. The interior was clean with the aroma of barbecue, and I was greeted once I came through the door. I am a huge supporter of our military and first responders, so immediately noticed the decor - rustic like most barbecue places, but decorated with first responder and military memorabilia. At noon they played the National Anthem, complete with a televised flag. Erik helped me narrow down what I wanted from the simple, albeit hard to decide what I wanted menu. To the management - Erik is a keeper! He was friendly, joyful, did not rush me, and VERY helpful - even to the point of helping move a couple of tables and chairs so our group could sit together! He even took part in some ribbing at one point, joining in on the laughter. Give him a raise or bonus! Now the food - between all of us, I think we had a good sampling of most everything, including the seasonal Black Plate special. I couldn't decide if I wanted the lean or moist brisket, so Erik helped me settle on the combo and get a little of both. Had trouble deciding on a side as well, which is when Erik told me I could have a sample of a side - wow! I ended up eith the fresh cut fries. Fries were delicious, not overly seasoned, which I appreciated as I hate it when they are oversalted. Brisket was tender and flavorful. Side note - deciding which sauce to use of the 6 to chose from was tough, they all were tasty! Food reviews from everyone was stellar, with everyone enjoying their selections. What an amazing place! We went there because it was on our way to target, not knowing anything about the company or the food. Turns out it's probably the most patriotic and veteran friendly restaurant in OKC. As a veteran, I really appreciate this. Not only was the customer service exceptional, the food was top notch.
