i've been driving to Encino for months. I love the pharmacy, but it's just too far for me. In a panic I looked for something closer to home. What a find. They had the medication, done deal. I picked it up after work. The only down side is parking. Street parking only. I lucked out, found a space right in front of the place. After having tried them, I don't recommend this place. There are several other compounding pharmacies you can use close by. I have two unrelated but I feel important reasons why they shouldn't get a person's business. First and most disturbing is their attitude towards medication for mental health. This may be their probable affiliation with the Church of Scientology which is reason enough to avoid giving them our money. Their information wall is loaded with literature from Scientology's bogus front company called Citizens Commission on Human Rights. This spreads untruths and dangerous recommendations on the treatment of mental health. They are not medical doctors or scientists. They're a "religion" in the best of light and more like a cult. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, perhaps they weren't aware of their own literature they promoted, and asked for the owner/manager. A older eastern European woman (I assume the owner), when I presented this became hostile. She defended the literature, anti-mental health dogma, and didn't confirm when I asked if this business was affiliated w the Church of Scientology. I reluctantly had my order filled and returned for a renewal out of the belief they were the only game in town for a special dermal cream I needed for a pet. I felt trapped. This leads me to the second reason I can't support them. After returning to them twice, I've experienced poor customer service from their staff, unrelated to my other experience. They're slow, rude, and have a pecuiliar way of saying your order "has been processed" which sounds like its ready but just means they've received. This fooled my spouse a few weeks ago, then it fooled me and my doctor in to thinking its okay to pick up. All three of us took steps based on it being ready. I brought this up and once again, like that potential owner/manager, the woman Lynette was dismissive in her attitude. They said "has been processed" doesn't mean ready. Again this confused my vet who as a result assumed they couldn't amend the dosage, which they had called to correct. The vet called me and said it was ready but explained a compensation in the dosage instructions. Sure. But I had driven to the pharmacy a second time only to turn around a second time that day. The real insult was the lack of basic civility from Lynette, her tone was as if, I or were idiots. This was the last straw so I started to research alternatives and found out there are many. Beverly Hills Compounding Pharmacy, a mile away, is fulfilling my order. There are other competitors too that I imagine don't have a questionable association with Scientology or such bad customer relations. read more

Great Earth Compounding pharmacy has been a pleasure to work with. They called me during Covid offering to send me a 3 month supply to the out of state address where I was staying and they included free hand sanitizer with my medications. This may not sound like a big deal but at the time you couldn't find a bottle of hand sanitizer in any store! read more

I got the best skin fading cream from this pharmacy! My doctor also calls in my thyroid medication and progesterone to this pharmacy. They specialize in bio-identical hormones. I don't just trust any pharmacy to make them for me. Quality is everything to me. I also had problems with poor sleep and anxiety and did not want to take crazy pscho meds. Parking is impossible. The staff is rude. And they never answer the phone and when they do, they immediately ask you to hold FOREVER, until you hang up! I never even took my prescription in.
